Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, NOT! Rain was pouring down while we were riding with the bike. Just asked for a simple drink: "we are fully booked" was the answer. I said "we don't need a room, just a coffee". Again : "We are fully booked". Meanwhile there was NOBODY at the bar... Worst experience of three weeks in Sweden.

Great lunch buffé! Really enjoyed the food and the surroundings! Staff was very nice and service minded (even prepared some lactose-free versions of the buffé elements for my wife). A bit pricey but still recommended!

Good rooms. The staff were very professional, kind, and always smiling. Julia from the staff was especially emitting happiness all around. Overall, this is a great place for a short stay.

A quiet and beautiful plaće to rest with a beautiful landscape. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Definitely recommend for long walks along the lake which is on both sides of the complex.

Didn't realize Sweden had all these monastery/forts. Wish we had time to roam around. The grounds were peaceful and the buildings were amazing. Next trip will spend more time wandering!

Had a walk around, seems like its not really working right now, neither the hotel or bar/restaurant, but i quess it was pretty nice with a walk around, even though it was under renovation during my visit. One of the highlights is the portrait of that royal person, that is a woman but really looks like a man, really made me laugh 😂

Passed by because I saw the sign on the main road. Restaurant looks very beautiful.

Old monastery and castle with beautiful garden and surrounding. Now hotel and restaurant which I haven tried recently

stopped for a lunch on the way home - a bit pricey but worth the taste, quality and service, and hard to compare when having it near walls of medieval monastery and castle - it's ingredient of its own! a walk in nearby park is recommended as appetizer

Very nice personell. A bit basic rooms, even though we selected to stay in the castle. Nice buffé, both breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic location with a lot of history. Plenty of places to look at remnants from the castle that are 200-400 years old

We came for lunch which happened to be outside lunch hours, and the staff made sandwiches with a large pot of coffee especially for us! (They even had gluten-free.) All the staff were really friendly and considerate. Beatiful historical place to see btw.

We were 2 adults and 2 children that stayed here during a christmas weekend - we also enjoyed the christmas menu at the on-site restaurant - the swedish "jul bord". We booked in advance and everything worked very well. We lived in a suite room to fit us all 4 - which was very nice and authentic (the floors, walls and decor is all old and non-stringent). The food was awesome.

Wonderful ambience and great staff. Perfect food and excellent service. But I needed a wake up call and there are no phones in the room, so I was promised that someone of the breakfast staff will knock on my door to wake me up. It never happened and I overslept...

Comfortable and spacious accommodation, lovely staff, delicious food (we had a traditional fish soup, yum!). The interior deco is gorgeous and the green space around it is stunning. The hotel itself is located in between the sea and a huge lake, so there are stunning views whichever way you look. An overall remarkable experience!

One of my favourite places in Skåne. Very nice staff, nice rooms in the main castle building and in the other buildings too. Nice wellness area with sauna and hot tubs! The breakfast buffet is amazing and other meals are nice too!
