Let's
face
it,
Phuthaditjhaba
is
definitely
NOT
a
holiday
destination.
It's
darkest
Africa
at
it's
worst
where
loadshedding
and
power
cuts
combine
into
a
bottomless
abyss.
To
make
matters
worse
the
roads
are
littered
with
potholes
that's
so
big
and
scary
and
unavoidable
that
traveling
here
is
a
high
risk
experience.
But
unfortunately
sometimes
you
have
to
work
here
or
come
for
business
reasons.
In
cases
like
these
you
would
most
definitely
want
to
stay
at
the
Twilight
Breeze
Lodge.
It's
such
a
pleasant
surprise
compared
to
the
surrounding
area.
The
establishment
is
kept
clean
and
tidy,
safe
and
inviting.
It's
quiet
and
peaceful
and
has
a
lovely
view
of
the
mountain.
You
can
use
the
communal
kitchen
to
make
your
own
food
and
there's
a
braai
area
to
entertain
your
guests.
The
only
improvement
I
would
suggest
is
having
a
sink
in
the
kitchen
to
wash
your
dishes.
