Had an early breakfast during a business trip. This restaurant opened at 6am in the morning, highly recommended for people traveling in early trips.

Lovely relaxed stop off. Lerato our waitress was upbeat and made us feel seen and comfortable. The eggs Benedict really hit the spot! I highly recommend a stop at Mug and Bean Montrose on your travels past.

Our whole experience here was great, the service, the food, the dessert. But our favourite part was the decaf coffee with soy milk. It was one of the best coffees we have ever had. In fact, we ordered a second cup. Our compliments to Thabisile, the barista and Lerato, our lovely waitress.

Had Breakfast at Montrose Mug & Bean at Van Reenen. Lizzy was our waitress. The service was excellent, friendly and so quick! The food absolutely delicious! The location is beautiful, and the restaurant and seating area super clean! Keep it up, guys!

Great experience with a very good service we got from Tiffini. We didn’t wait long for our order , she even recommended a very tasty cheese carrot cake.

I stopped for coffee on my way to Jhb, coming from Durban. It was a bit chilly and I ordered a bowl with beef strips and noodles. The first taste was very unpleasant. The beef strips was tasteless, no seasoning, cold and tough... There were canned fruit on top, which was tasteless and cold. I had to ask what it was as I couldn't tell. It turned out to be mango pieces! The noodles was the same as the beef strips... tasteless, no seasoning, cold and over cooked... The waitress was very helpful and immediately offered to replace the meal. I then ordered the corn fritters with bacon. That was a pleasant meal that I enjoyed. 😉 Although I spent a bit longer than planned, I at least left satisfied... 🙃

Staff we all superb! So welcoming and helpful. Andile hosted us and her service was top notch. These kinds of great experiences make the long road worthwhile! We will definitely be visiting your restaurant again!

Nice milkshake. Was a pity I was rushing to the bus because we were already behind schedule...and didn't properly check my change because for some reason I was given R20 less of my change which is quite strange because in most cases, people get to be short of smaller amounts when purchasing items.

I felt so sweet around lovely bees of excellent service from all the ladies. Give the bonus
