🫤 STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED. i felt the food was okay(just to be polite ) until I tasted the noodle in the red bowl(forgot the name ). I've only tried a few bites then I couldn't finish it. I don't waste food but this one really made me lost my appetite. The noodle is too soft, like something rotten in... People often mention noodle,

I don't waste food but this one really made me lost my appetite. The noodle is too soft, like something rotten in my mouth, the meat(don't know what is it made of) taste like mixed powder and I only taste some cheap vinegar in the soup. Staff are friendly BTW.

One of the most authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Melbourne. Especially the spicy beef noodle and the chicken chop rice, you can almost taste 'home'.

Been looking for a place like this for years where after a busy working week that you can relax and enjoy the ordinary and yet so special homey food, service and the atmosphere, with decent price. The staff and owner were super nice enough with great smiles - I guess it's a mutual thing as well :) . Are we coming back again? Next time we better to be quick enough over a weekend morning before the brekkie runs out by its patrons. 30 years of history there, what else can you expect more than that?!

Having the dinner in here today, food was not bad but the food almost killed me, I spent $22.70 and ate a small plastic, lucky it’s a bit sharp and I still alive. I was thinking it’s a broken container and spoken to staff about this issues, he just saying sorry didn’t do anything for me, very upset with their service, other issues is the environment a bit gross, flies everywhere and the bench which I seat so sticky, and just seen the drinking glass not cleaned . A restaurant should performance a good food hygiene and safety.

Love their fried popcorn chicken on rice. Staff was friendly and courteous. Nice relaxing songs playing the background was a bonus point.

Food was average, quite a numbers of items were not available for order.

Tasty Taiwanese dishes for a cheap price. Been here twice for lunch. The first time they were missing/slashed off multiple items from the menu which was annoying. The seating area and self serve drink area could’ve been cleaner and tidier. However, the food was yummy. The beef noodle had a great tasting broth, noodle texture and fall apart beef. The crumbled fried chicken was also good. A good meal for $15, I’d say it’s a bargain.

Great place for a quick lunch. A must try is their Taiwanese mince pork on rice. The highlight were the melt in the mouth pork belly mince and the fresh sweet and tangy preserved veggies. The deep fried popcorn chicken pieces were juicy too but just a bit too much of five herbs spice and generic salt and pepper seasonings for my liking. Definitely will drop by to try out their breakky dishes.

Absolutely loved this place! My family and I come here regularly and they definitely do not disappoint. The family running this place is divine and it is definitely one of Melbournes treasures. Highly recommend if you want warm, comforting and hearty Taiwanese food. Also very reasonably priced and great portions! Could not recommend it enough!

Been here a few times, last time the beef noodle soup was hot, and spicy as requested, enjoyed it very much. :) Really wish they could bring back sticky rice ball and savoury soy being available all day rather than brekkie only, like they used to at their Glen Waverley location years ago. Sticky rice ball can be premade and kept frozen, will be as freshly made when steamed. Fried tofu used to be to-die-for, with visible garlic bits in sauce, and coriander on top, at GW. Please don't change a winning formula or authenticity for anyone.
