Vegetable korma was mushy and plain in taste. The three other dishes, butter chicken, dahl and paneer all tasted them with an overhwelming flavour of canned tomato soup and artifically sweetened. Bathrooms were dirty. Nothing authentic about the taste which, very poor quality for the price. Unfortunate as there isn't another indian restaurant for miles. Garlic naan was cooked well as was the saffron rice.

Really good experience, we just walked by and decided to give it a go. Decor very nice, service is fantastic, waiter explained items on the menu. They catered to our dietary needs. Food was really nice with very clean flavours. Definitely will travel the 50 minutes for a meal again. Bookings a Must Friday and Saturday.

The goat curry meat was dry in texture and the gravy average in taste, the Dahl lacks flavour and that’s a bit disappointing. Lamb cutlets looked burnt from the marinade but taste alright. Prawn curry and butter chicken is recommendable. The restaurant is spacious and good for group entertainment.

We went for the banquets and they were delicious. Service was great - very attentive and offering extra serves of each course. They were also very happy to split the bill. Banquet was very good value for money. Bollywood music videos in the background and the artwork on the walls added to the ambience.

Food is good at a reasonable price. But if you are looking for Indian style food then you will be missing the spicy and masala. But it is good for those who want less spicy and masala. As an India, I missed the wow factor. Or else the food is good and the ambience is also good.

Lovely place to eat at! Food was amazing and the service is always good. My favourite bit about coming here is the family environment and how the chef comes out and ask personally how was the meal was.

The worst Indian meal I've had in a long time. Long wait times to even place an order at our table. 1 hour and 40 mins between entree and mains to come out. Chicken Korma tasted like something out of a can. It was thick and claggy and not even edible. Aloo Gobi was saucy and tasted metallic. Rogan Josh was ok but lacked a lot of flavour. Naan Breads were doughy and a bit undercooked. Tandoori prawns had no flavour and were very overcooked. I left most of the meal as it was not pleasant at all. The waitress asked if everything was ok. We told her that the Aloo Gobi in particular had a strange taste. She didn't do anything about it and blamed it on a new chef. The table behind me complained that their chicken and mushroom dish has no mushroom in it. The waiter just said I have no idea and walked off. Not a million years would I ever come back.

I've travelled to Nepal and India and this restaurant transported me straight back. We had the Beef Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Samosas, Garlic Naan, Parathas, Pappadams, Gulab Jamun and Mango Kulfi - all of which were absolutely delicious!

Great food - we had the all-you-can-eat banquet and it was beautiful. The curries were as good as I had in Nepal. Fresh, fragrant & all over - well balanced flavours.

First time at this restaurant & I was very impressed. Food was delicious. The young lady who served us was very friendly & helpful. And the owner came out himself for a chat which was lovely. We will definitely be back

Friendly, attentive, fun staff with good sense of humour. They understood about coeliac disease and what a coeliac customer could and could not be served. Lots of gluten free options. Food was amazing and really flavoursome. We had a group of 16 and everybody was happy with the food and service. Highly recommend

The hours on Google are just an estimate plus or minus 1 hour. We planned a day on the Peninsula and arrived just after 9pm to be told that they were closing. Their advertised hours say that they are open until 10pm. Left my kids, my parents, my wife, and I go hungry with no other place to go. The co-owner who was very rude and was condescending. He was "explaining" to me how restaurants and businesses work. I own a business myself and I can tell you that it is not good business to advertise service hours that are not accurate. It is just dishonest. I recommend calling ahead to see if they are open and willing to take your order.

The food was absolutely delicious and filled us to the brim. My wife can't handle 'hot' when it comes to Indian food and for her it was perfect. The staff were very attentive and the place was light, bright and immaculately clean. The Tandoori platter was great value and the curried, coconut prawns are my favourite. The prices were very reasonable and provided great value.

So disappointed ☹️ just paid $82 for very ordinary dinner. Butter chicken was runny like it had been watered down. My son who LOVES naan bread couldn’t eat ours (neither could I). The lamb cutlets cost a lot which we expected but when we saw them they looked like they had been left in the dessert for the past year … gross 🤢 couldn’t eat them either. Never again! Can’t believe they are still open. Total waste of money.

Ordered take away for Mother's Day dinner. We had 7 adults and 4 children. I pre-ordered and paid on Saturday evening. We had varied mains and entrees. Total spent was $298.00. Everything was Amazing. Stand out favourites was the butter chicken (the kids loved it), the momo (delish), Samosa (huge and very full and tasty), the chilli chicken, Lamb spinach, actually it was all fantastic. I requested an early delivery (5.30) and it arrived on time with some extra papadums and sauces. When ordered staff were very courteous and made extra effort to get the order and delivery address correct. It was a perfect Mother's day dinner for me - amazing food cooked by someone else and cleaned up by someone else! Thank you. ps momo are my new favourites and your samosa!!!!

My family had a get together at the restaurant. We were delighted to meet the three generations of the family who own the restaurant. We were looked after very well - a lovely waitress who was careful to make sure we had everything we needed as well as the young Nepalese men who brought our food to us. The food was delicious from the Appetisers- Samosers Pakoras and Onion Bhaji. Generous servings. The mains we had were Lamd Marsala Rogan Josh - beef Prawn Masala and Butter Chicken all with Rice There was six on our table and we all had plenty to eat. Excellent evening.

Went there on a busy Saturday night. The service was excellent and the food was divine. Loved the goat curry and momos. Garlic naan were flavourful and so soft. The waitsatffs were very attentive and polite. The wine selection is good too. Would definately be back.

Gross- I love indian and Nepalese food. The Paneer Makhani at this venue tasted like tomato sauce mixed with cream and no other flavours! I made the mistake of giving them a second chance after terrible Palak Paneer and Malai Kofta. Eating out is becoming so unaffordable that I feel this needs a public service announcement for people to consider before going there.

Great food at a good price. Friendly service! Big table of us, we all had entrees, mains and breads and everyone loved their meals! Thanks for a cracker night 👍🏻😁

Family owned restaurant grounded in the North Indian/Nepalese traditions so you won’t get the hotter dishes from the south of the country. The menu is huge so we will be back to re-sample their other dishes. The sauces are cream based (the Lamb Korma for example) and the range of dishes less fish oriented as you’d expect. The rice and tandoor dishes are light and especially delicious. The ambience is white linen, warm and pleasant and the ambience is neither shopworn nor intimidating. The owner is the chef and his family are the waiting staff - friendly and helpful. Recommended. Thanks

We have been going to this restaurant (dine in) regularly since Jan ‘23. We have tended to stay away from the well known Indian dishes and tried the unknown at each visit from the very extensive menu and have enjoyed every dish we have had. Each dish has an individual taste and there is nothing that we would not order a second time around. The plain Nan bread is the best I have tasted. Serving size for mains is about normal and entrees rather generous. Great atmosphere in a clean environment and the cloth napkins a nice touch. Restaurant is family run with the staff very friendly. Generally cannot book before 5pm as phones are unattended ‘til then. Prices are reasonable with shared entrees and mains around $25- $30/ head unless you a a big appetite and have an entree to yourself. Restaurant is licensed but you can bring your own for a reasonable corkage fee. There are a lot of non meat dishes on the menu .

This place was amazing. The service and food was impeccable, as it is time and time again. I was served by a young man with funky hair and although he was only new there he knew what he was doing. I highly recommend going, best Indian and nepalese you’ll ever have.
