Stopped at this lake on our way to Hyderabad from the medak for some fishes as they were selling them at the entrance of the lake. The lake embankment was very long and the lake seems to be a bigger one. The water were also clean. We didn't buy any fishes over here, as the prices told by the fisherman were higher compared to what we get at Hyderabad and made a decision to not to buy. Could not go to the whole embankment and explore the whole river, will surely try next time to go over the total embankment and explore the river and its waters. We could also see one of the old darga to the other side of this river entrance.

An awesome place on the way to Medak where you also get to see a variety of migratory birds specially during the rainy season. An early morning visit is a sight to relish as you can see the sunrise as well and breathe the fresh air around.

Can take bike or car near to water n the water is clean and place too

Komtur lake is a beautiful lake with an old bund at it one side and Biloli Masjid on other side. The Lake is located in between Chegunta and Medak and its distance from Medak town is 9 km. It is mostly dependent of the rain water and it remains almost dried in summers. The sunrise looks great from the lake.

Best hangout place.. govt need to take necessary action
