Very beautiful area at the canal with large, clean and friendly bungalows. Bathroom is interior and nice, only in the morning the water pressure in the shower was a bit low and therefore the water heater did not trigger. As everywhere in Manakara the electricity is turned off during the night. Restaurant is also excellent and the staff very helpful and speak good English, also their tourguide Theophile is amazing and helps you with everything. I would definitely recommend.

We went here recommended by Radu, our driver. They offer us two types of bungalow, double and familiar, choosing the large one for the sea view from a second level space in the room. The place is very well conditioning with three beds, all with mosquito net, a bathroom with a large bathtub and two sink, and a porch with wood armchairs. All located among beautiful and care gardens, a huge swimming pool with view to the beach to the side of restaurant where serve good food and good WiFi connection. The place is very recommendable, is clean and care to the detail, with shortcut to the beach in the most beautiful part of the city. At the entrance of the resort, you can buy coconuts for drink and there is a long beach for walk around and rest.

Air conditioning was working, rooms were ok. Nearly nobody speaks English. Bad service from the stuff, nobody asking if you want something to drink. You have to order at the bar because nobody comes. No cleaning up the dishes on the table... If you have to get your breakfast early, they are not prepared. Not really recommended. :(
