Very Arrogant warden, they are not refunding the advance. Choosing a hostel is our wish. They will talk nicely to you before you paid the advance amount. After you payed the advance amount they will hell at you for not coming and asking for a refund. Which is not right! Advance amount is 2000rs. If I ask refund, they telling me to refer a friend to stay or they will not refund me. Because, they didn't show the room which I booked So, they want me to refer any of my friends . Is Hostel is a business? What world it is?

Worst Warden(Jayanthi)... She will treat us like we are unwanted guest in her house and lie like a pro... She will tell lies to you and management and bridges a gap between them.. Management should look into this issue asap as she won't take the problems to them and always portray like it's others fault.She acts so sweet but very cunning lady..She makes rules according to the people and favour people who are her favorite

Warden is arrogant lady and irresponsible one who does not care about ours. Please change her . And she is not at all giving the owners number we have the rights to ask owners number beacuse we are paying .. but that warden lady is telling u shouldn't ask owner number i dont what's wrong with that lady .. worst lady warden i ever seen in my hostel lyf

There is no proper food..... if we ask for food, they are not responding properly.......this applies for breakfast, lunch and dinner Also please dont opt for AC rooms, because they will ask you to pay the rent of AC room without providing the AC properly......

Very good hostel... Tasty food will be provided.... Wednesday nite dinner will be so nice... Ac rooms are very good... Clean & neat ... Warden will be so sweet... It is very comfort

I love everything about this hostel, firstly it has a very convenient location next to SREE RAMANATHEESWARAR TEMPLE which I always wanted to visit. They’re affordable compared to hotels and facilites they provided. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is good and a real bonus is a 7:00 pm snack, which can range from puff, pizza to some sweet delicacies. They prepare all the food with proper hygine. On weekends, they have buffet at night with many different varities of food.

First of all, the staff an absolute delight. You are greeted with a warm smile as soon as you walk in! Staffs were extremely helpful, and they gave me great advice on local sights and also great food recommendations. It's location is in the heart of Porur, Chennai and it's an easy walk to bus stand. The hostel is around 30 minutes away from Chennai, Airport. I would highly recommend!!!! I would like to thank all the staffs, I will be back definetly!!

Saranalayam is the Affordable and good among all Hostels in porur. The quality of food is given importance by management. All the supporting staff are so kind and friendly. I personally liked my Hostel Incharge- Meena Akka.she is doing a great job. I strongly suggest this pg to all.
