this is the next station after tambaram if you come from tambaram. and the previous station of tambaram if you come through beach. this is commuted because of many IT companies and government offices are situated here.

Station is easily approachable from mepz.. lesser crowd.. better as a stopage than TAMBARAM itself as it takes 10-15 mins for a train to reach TAMBARAM from sanatorium thus getting down here helps.

There is good arrangement of sub way and foot over bridge for crossing the rails. Cleanliness is average. You can get here stalls for snacks, tea and food.

Im residing in this place for the past 21years and this is the most calmest and pleasant place in tambaram.Railway Station and Bus depot are very nearby and also one could find some Quality and hygienic Restaurants around.

Good railway station for neet and clean

Alighting from this railway station is a bus stand and MEPZ Easy access to other areas and people going to Saitlapaakkam will go from this railway station

Instead of climbing steps in Tambaram station can use Tambaram sanatorium with less steps in Subway only for local trains. But Fast train and other passengers trains won't stop here. The one drawback here is we would get only normal auto from here, no shareauto is available here.

Good station. Next to Tambaram Junction. Near famous Sidha medical hospital . Many of patient to reach sidha hospital through this station only. 500 m distance only. Long route buses bus stand nearby only.

Railway station Subway needs attention water leaking due to poor construction method and lack of engineering.

The entry system is pretty bad here, you can only enter from one side of the station, no overbridge or something to facilitate passengers.

NO SAFETY DURING MORNING HOURS AND LOCAL RICKSHAW DRIVERS MISBEHAVE WITH PEOPLE. I PERSONALLY FACE TODAY MORNING AT 0400 WHEN I park my car in parking which is almost empty after 10 minutes autorickshaw drivers come towards me and start MISBEHAVEING.

Good and clean but presently not so due to Dev work Under bridge or sub way entry from GST Road is very Dirty and bad smell of urine

A very usefu Suburban Transit Station for Passengers who want to avoid the Rush and Confusion at the Tambaram Station. Easy Entry and Exit Points. Lesser Rush and Que. Comparatively Neat and Clean than Tambaram.

Nice atmosphere.. parking is available on the right side , towards tambaram Rate 15rs for bike for 12 hrs

water not come to this station ...more than month this pipeline water not come...this summer time need for water...i think only supply for shop and stores not use for public...very worst maintanence for this station...

A regional EMU halt station This station used to be a bit clean but now since some construction is going on, there are debris around. They could bring some more improvements to this station. Close to Tambaram Junction which makes it easier for travellers to reach Tambaram for boarding long haul trains.

Restroom to be made available, public address system is required, Foot over bridge to be made available since during rainy days the subway is full of water and there is no other way of entering station.

Now the Subway path was re-layed & no water stagnation after new floor was layed on the Subway

This is the bottle neck of Tambaram rly station. All suburban trains passing through this station will take a minimum of 15 minutes to reach Tambaram which is just 2 kms away purely due to poor planning and management by Tambaram railway station authorities. Though so many platforms are available, they will wait for receiving in a particular platform which is occupied by some other train. Only after that train leaves the platform, they will be receiving the train.

Needs better amenities for shelter, restroom, better eateries Even the subway needs proper lighting. If you have feeling that you are entering in to a tunnel.

Local train connect from tamatam to all chennai area. Mostly for chennai center and egmore. Also ever 10 mint tou can got local for chennai airport. Near by station trisulam

Worst place with bad smell

Clean and good.

Station is ok but need to improve facilities and need to open rest rooms . In rainy season subway fills with water and pedastrians are in trouble
