Before I begin, I must note that this wasn’t my choice of location. My husband demanded on this place. First off for the price you a pay, it’s very basic, not very updated, and there wasn’t any fridge to keep drinks cold in the heat of the summer but the MAIN reason I have horrible memories of this place is because on our 3rd day the manager/owner came knocking on the door at 11:15am. Our two kids aged 4&2 were there as she begins to scream at us saying if we don’t vacate the room she was calling the cops. We explained it was a misunderstanding and apologized as much as possible. It wasn’t enough, she said we had 5 mins to get out or the cops were coming. How about you call the room and say perhaps there’s been a mistake but you’re check out date is today. Oh no, she came at us like John Wayne. She was not helpful in anyway. Anything we asked for or about was a nuisance for her. She much really hate being there, maybe she should give up accommodations and try something less people oriented.

Serves a clean bed and shower. Mini fridge, mini microwave on top, the desc. mentioned "kitchen utilities" they must be the plastic tray with 4 wrapped plastic cups. No hair dryer, coffee... bare needs only, fine if your only sleeping in the room and leaving again. Beach passes no longer available.

The rooms had a smell of mold which we found out was do to the furniture, the dresser was full of mold, we couldn’t put our clothes in it. The nightstand also reeked of mold. The bathroom had no ventilation so you can only imagine how that smelled. They charge guests for the beach passes! They charge 1/2 price but we shouldn’t have been charged at all. WE will definitely NOT be back!

Absolutely adorable little motel. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. The room was newly renovated, cute, clean, comfy bed, fridge and little dining table. AC was a heater to fight the chilly evening. Will definitely be back!

I took my 2 year old daughter down to PPB for our first mommy daughter beach trip. A friend recommended Pelican Pt. for our two night stay which turned into four nights. We loved our stay so much. Denise was a wonderful host and the girls on the housekeeping staff were definitely up to par. Our rooms were clean, updated and super cute. I couldn’t have stayed as long as I did without the mini fridge and microwave which worked great. The pool area was clean and I even witnessed a staff member checking the chlorine levels on multiple occasions which I appreciated. The location was so close to the beach/boardwalk but far enough away from the traffic which attributed to a good nights sleep. A two block walk. Perfect. The neighborhood was nice. There’s a playground for little ones nearby too as well as bagel shops, grocery stores, liquor stores and a great Italian deli. Thank you so much Pelican Point!! We will be back.

The rooms were very clean. All rooms have been recently updated The staff is awesome! Very cute motel great for the price and location. Thanks for a great weekend trip!

Clean renovated rooms, easy check in, and convenient location to beach and town

I absolutely loved it, super nice staff, really sweet front desk lady. The rooms were super cute and clean, the location is like a 2 min walk down the street to the beach and 2 min walk into town and in a nice neighborhood. I’d recommend this hotel to someone who is planning a vacation in point pleasant
