I was right outside the store and brought it back unused in less than 5 minutes. The store manager would not refund me. I am a local pregnant woman, who is always on the boardwalk. It's still April. She couldn't refund me??? Give me a break. I ended up just leaving the sweatshirt there and walking out. I posted my problem on their fb, and the admin deleted it. I complained about that, still no refund offer. they are basically thieves. Please don't shop there, but if you do for some reason, make sure you use a credit card so you can at least dispute the charges since you can forget any sort of customer service, since a local pregnant woman can't even get any off season at this place. After all this, you'd think they would do the right thing and offer me a refund. Goes to show how WRONG this company is.

    I went into this store today with my 2 year old daughter and was told to mask her or I had to leave. The woman told me my daughter was not 2 and then told me she had to wear a mask. I have never in over a year been told to put a mask on my 2 year old daughter who isn’t old enough to even keep one one. What a shame. I’ll never step foot in that store again. I live in brick and have been going to that store for years and years. The woman could’ve been nicer or approached the situation better but she didn’t. Shame on you. 👎🏼 Jen ( pist off mom)

    Horrible customer service and very unethical business. The weather became colder while out so I needed a quick hoodie to stay warm. The prices were quite high compared to other retailers however I wanted something that didn't have New Jersey printed all over it. I purchased the hoodie without trying it on (totally my fault) and before leaving the store decided to throw it on. Unfortunately it did not fit. I walked back up to the woman who had literally rang me up a mere ten seconds prior and she pointed to a sign and said no refunds. I had mentioned how I haven't even left the store yet and she refused. I said I wanted to speak to the manager and she said they weren't there. I then asked who I could contact to speak to someone and she refused to give me a name or number on who was in charge. I asked for a business card and she wouldn't give me one of those either. After telling her how unethical and wrong this was she finally broke down and said she would return my money but claimed she would be forced to take the money out of her own pocket. Horrible experience. High prices compared to the rest of the stores on the boardwalk and employees are rude. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this headache.

    I do not leave reviews often but felt I needed to share my experience. First off, the older women who work there, or own the business are very unpleasant and seem to be unappreciative of their customers. Also, they seem to be quite rude to the young employees. I have a 16 year old daughter and I would never have her work for anyone like them. I am always leary of negative reviews because I am very open minded and judge things on my own personal experiences, but I think the other negative reviews for this place are pretty spot on. I will not be going back to shop there.

    this girl named Julia was very rude and disrespectful. I was looking in the mirror and taking photos of clothes to show one of my family members. When this girl came up to me and said if you’re just gonna take photos then just leave I was trying to take photos for my cousin who has cancer. I think it’s very rude and disgusting that she would do that when she doesn’t even know the circumstances I just think I should bring it to the stores attention because mine these employees need a life check.

    Would not recommend. A friend of mine had some real trouble there with the manager chasing after her young son THE DAY AFTER he purchased some discounted sunglasses for her for Mother’s Day. Demanded that he pay the difference of the discount and told him he was banned from the store. What loons! No appreciation for a young kid trying to use what little money he earns to do something nice for his mother.

    NEVER AGAIN. Purchased Reef Sandals ($60)!!!. Staff member helped me when I requested a size 11 in men's. She gave me women's. Receipt does not say no exchanges, just no refunds. Went back next day just to swap them out for a men's size, never worn, but the women behind the counter said she could not exchange them do to covid sanitizing, then she said I should have tried them on? Huh? . If I could give them a zero I would. Ridiculous. Poor excuse for a business. Do not shop at Deep Blue Boutique!.

    Such a bad place, i was stared at with hatred & dirty looks, did not feel welcolmed at all. The workers started making mokey noises & harassing my african american friend calling with the n word multiple times, & with the hard R, im prettt sure one of the workers were named Julia if im not mistaken. You see multiple bad reviews for a reason.
