Visitor Center is always well stocked and have wonderful staff. No snack area but they sell bottled water. Restrooms are clean. The Innes house is interesting. It was not open today but I have been through it in the past. With the amount of damage from the battle is amazing it still stands and is in good shape.

The physical facility is well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. A 600yd walking tour includes a number of significant locations of the battle. Very convenient. The signage around the facility is extremely helpful to a visitor unfamiliar with Fredericksburg. But the Ranger staff are the real gems here.

A lot of history, it's hard to believe that so many died here. A nice visitor center with movie presentations, you can take a self or ranger lead tour of the grands. The gift shop offers souvenirs and National Park passport stamps.

Great video showing how the battle played out. Loved all the exhibits. The greeters were very helpful

This place is a must see. You can stop by the gift shop and get the information on a guided tour via your phone. The house that is still standing on this battlefield still has bullet holes in it you can see on the outside and inside thru the windows. General Cobb was killed in this battle, the spot is marked with a stone.

This is specifically for the visitor's center and Sunken Rd self guided tour at the Fredericksburg Battlefield. The visitor's center is very nice. The exhibits have been kept up to date and are legible. There is a lot of great information, too. The self guided trail is nice and easy going. We had a great time!

It's amazing how there are these many major battlefields in a small area. You can still see original groundworks, definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful well kept grounds. The light is stunning. We enjoyed the beach at the old site as much as the light itself

Epic battlefield site to explore on foot (the one mile loop) and via car on nearby roads. Lots of interesting stops on the walk, and nice memorial to a soldier that provided water to enemy soldiers. The displays are very detailed and many show historical pics of the area. It will bring you back in time, and without all the tourists that some of these battle sites get.

Long, paved road through the whole battlefield park. Seating area, replica cannons at Spotsylvania end. Multiple trails through the woods, beautiful walking in all seasons. Been coming here for a long time and we just love it!

Wonderful park full of history! My family and I enjoyed the walking trail throughout, although unfortunately were there when the Visitor Center was still under construction. Luckily, the table set up outside and the signs around the park were more than enough to make up for it. Great for a quick day trip!

Doubtlessly one of the top three historical battlefield memorials in the US. So well done inside the visitor center and out. They've really captured the time period and the brutal impact on regular people's lives. So well done. It's a two day trip to visit Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville so plan for it. The candlelight ceremony in Fredericksburg is a once in a lifetime special event so look for that too...

Main center for most information on Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania battlefields. Visitors Center, located at site of Sunken Road/Stone Wall, has small museum with well-done short movie on Fredericksburg battle. National Cemetery sits atop adjacent Marye's Heights.

Great place to visit and learn the history of the Civil War. The rangers were amazingly helpful to us and had a guide around the area with insight to each iconic spot. Loved it and the shop on site had some interesting items and souvenirs I had to get. Would go again to revisit. Recommend.

This is a historic site so they have a few signs indicating what happened in a few areas. The pyramid is interesting to learn how it was used. It's calming to walk here and good to remember what we have progressed away from.
