I never give 3 star reviews. It's either a 5 or a 1. This hotel would have been a solid 1 since we booked a double room and it came with only 1 towel and no toilet paper. The hot water was faulty also. Had I been staying in a $10 hostel, this kind of thing might be excusable, but a supposedly 3 star hotel? Additionally, the bed was thin and hard, with no blanket, only a single sheet. What saved this hotel and made it a 3 star was the breakfast. By far the best breakfast I've had since coming to Brazil. More options than the 4 star hotel we stayed at in Rio, with plenty of healthy and new options, even with Covid and very few people in the hotel. In summary, the hotel itself gets a 1 star, the breakfast gets a solid 5. I guess whether you stay here or not depends on your priorities ;-)

This is not 4 *, hotel is filthy, full of cockroaches, if you ask for extra towel, the answer will be they don't have any.

Excellent value. The breakfast is the strongest point by far with a solid array of foods, drinks and nibbles. The room was a decent size with AC and TV. The water pressure was great and was of course hot. Soaps and towels provided, though there was no hairdryer. However, the room did contain a large fridge and full mirror. The only real negative is the WiFi. It basically doesn't work enough to load more than a Google page. The speed test showed between 3-6 megabytes per second throughout the hotel, so no online video calls I'm afraid. That said, for the price paid, one can't complain. The value is exceptional. Note too that the fitness centre contains very old mostly broken equipment, though the pool looks nice enough.

One of the worst hotel that I had ever stayed. The only positive thing they have is English speaking co-operative staff at the reception desk. Otherwise very tidy rooms. There is almost no amenities in the room. Not that clean. There is barely any food at complementary breakfast. The rooms have no window. Most of the time the passages are dark. No air-conditioning in the lobby. The lifts are very small and old.

Well, this is not the Brazilian Shangri-La, of course. Gloomy vibes in the breakfast area, noisy AC in the room and a bit run down (in the first room there was no hot water). But the location right in the city center might makes it worth considering if you are looking for an affordable place to spend one night.

Attentive professional staff that are at your service at all hours. Very protective. They warn guests of all dangers. They even have English speaking employees, a restaurant and delicious cold beer. They messed up my res and more than made up for it
