Dave is an outstanding artist, who is highly-skilled in all areas. Everything I have seen that he has made is of the finest quality! I've been amazed at his tremendous talent! His furniture making skills are superb! His painted artwork spans many different styles, depending upon what he is creating. Dave started making me furniture back in the early eighties. I love his work! Especially when he adds his art work to wooden furniture that he custom makes. I only have his painting, and his talented wife Patty’s pottery work in my home now because I live over 2000 miles away. If I still lived on the east coast my home would a lot of his custom furniture in my home. Keep sharing your talents Dave and Patty!

I commishioned Dave to paint a portrait of my dad when he was a youngster with a work horse that he loved. Dave did an excellent job and this painting is one of our family’s prize possessions. I am thankful my dad got to see it before he passed away, he would tell us about the horse every time he saw the painting. I have a few other items that Dave painted including a recent Christmas gift from our daughter and son in law, a fish for our camp! I highly recommend Dave’s work. He has been blessed with incredible talent.

I contacted Dave because I was looking for a custom made bench to give as a wedding gift. I told him what I was looking for, how it would be used and he sent me a design he had in mind. I was able to customize it just a little and he went to work. It was absolutely beautiful! It was everything I wanted and more. He was able to custom carve their names and date along with a short saying I wanted on it. Dave you did a fabulous job. It brought tears to the bride and grooms eyes..they loved it I was nervous because you were so far away from me and I couldn't actually touch it up close and personal until it arrived here in Michigan. This studio is full of rustic charm. It is a family owned treasure and definitely worth a visit. Beautiful ceramics and pottery work, skillfully carved signs, unique and creative wood work, fine art paintings and prints.
