To say we were disappointed was an understatement. We’ve been wanting to try The Cosy Club for the longest time. Actually, since last summer when the sun was glorious, the crowds were huge and everytime we tried to dine it was full. We finally went and had breakfast as it’s our favourite meal of the day. We were delighted with the vibe of this place, from the outdoor area in the sun to the staircase and decorations everywhere. The staff were also great, very attentive and helpful. All had smiling faces and great service! Our coffees came out first and we both looked at each other with apprehension. Both had zero latte art or even an attempt at it, indicating the skills or possibly the lack of effort on the barista’s behalf. In the photo, we had taken a sip of the latte - it was full to the top when it came. But to be honest, the coffee tasted like it had been made with the press of a button. Enough said. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as great as the service. We got the Boston Brunch (£9.95) and the Cosy Eggs (£8.45) with halloumi added extra. The Boston Brunch consisted of a plate with baked beans (didn’t taste home-made), a singular wonky veggie sausage, a poached egg sitting in a puddle (was cooked well though), some spinach, a few tomatoes (half were cooked and half were raw), some super dry rostis that were hard to cut into and some unexciting bread on a side dish. As for the Cosy Eggs, it was slightly better but not something we would recommend to our friends. The sauce wasn’t exciting, the muffins were boring, and we were lucky we like extra crispy bacon. With so many incredible breakfast choices in Manchester, Cosy Club just didn’t live up to the current quality of the food scene. To finalise the review, the breakfast was not what we expected but we would go back for cocktails. The venue is awesome and a really nice place for a date or friends. If it were us, we would probably only order cocktails though and eat before we go! They do have some good cocktail deals too 🍸🍹 Yumminess: 💖🤍🤍🤍🤍 Instagramability:💖🤍🤍🤍🤍 Vibe: 💖💖💖💖🤍 Service💖💖💖💖💖 Price: ££ Insta & Tiktok: UKFOODBESTIES

Great food with excellent taste, however expected bigger portions for the price. Was advised 4 small plates should be enough for 2 people, it wasn't and had to get an extra main between us. At the end we got asked if we were going to tip from someone who wasn't our server, normally do discreetly when leaving or would choose the option to do so on the card machine myself. What made it more awkward was their response was you don't have to because of the unexpected question... Overall great vibe, food and wine.

Lovely environment, chic and cosy as the name suggests. Good menu at reasonable prices and lovely food in the end. So on a good day this might be worth a visit - don’t try and access from within The Corn Exchange - the only entrance is in Exchange Square on the exterior of the building. However, it was inefficient and chaotic to say the least. We had booked a table for brunch priory to a timed event - but the table wasn’t ready. We had to wait 15 minutes of the adequate time we’d allowed (and the booking registration said we had to leave the table by a defined time, so we had allowed enough). Then it took another 15 minutes for anyone to take our order although the place wasn’t exceedingly busy. The waitress was new (so it wasn’t her fault- but there was lack of management or supervision of her on her first day). The order then took a while to come and I had to chase it up due to time constraints. When it arrived it was mixed up. Several items were the wrong thing. By the time they got our final order right we only had about ten minutes to eat it before the time we’d planned to leave (which was the time we’d been advised the table was required back). So although the environment was promising and the food actually very nice, and well presented, I can’t recommend this place thoroughly if you are on a time constrained visit or expecting excellent service.

Stumbled upon this place for a quick drink and lunch. It was pretty quiet in there but everything was awesome! Staff was really nice and we loved our club sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. The espresso martini was great and I was happy they had a nice selection of spirits to choose from.

Very tasty. I had the sea bass on noodles that were very flavorful. The fish on the other hand was a little dry and could have used some spices or salt... or anything really. It's a really interesting concept they had but they fell a little short. Still very enjoyable anyways. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very kind!

the atmosphere here is nice, the decor is lovely however, when me and my group were ordering we found they only had about half the menu in stock, which we thought should’ve been explained to us when we first got seated. then, the food was INSANELY salty, there was salt on the bread and the fried chicken, and it completely ruined the meal because the only flavour was salt. really would not go here again it was extremely disappointing.

Thank you for making a group of old friends so very welcome! Alex the manager went above and beyond to make our visit amazing. Looking after us from the moment we walked in to the moment that we left. He came with a glass of fizz for everyone, which was a lovely thoughtful gesture. Claire and Ellis were our wonderful servers, the food was delicious, the service impeccable and a gorgeous atmosphere. Don't hesitate to book, you'll have a fabulous time in warm and inviting surroundings. Thank you CC Manchester.

Good service and a great location. After-work dinner with friends, nice selection of food, including vegetarian and vegan. The food was delicious, will definitely be back again.

I don't like to leave bad reviews but my steak was so bad I actually can't believe they served it to me like that. It was tough, not rare like I wanted, and tasteless, to be brutally honest. The only accompaniment was a tiny portion of fries and a bit of sauce - for £22, really? Disappointing to say the least. I feel ripped off. I regret not saying anything at the time but it is what it is. The sea bass was okay, but too small a portion for the price. At least the coffee was good, and the waitress was nice. We won't be coming for a second visit, sorry.

Lovely food, shocking service. Rude interaction from a waitress named Izzy. Took 45 mins to bring drinks when the restaurant wasn’t even at half capacity. Lack of communication between members of staff. Despite the lovely food I wouldn’t return due to rude members of staff.

We visited at the most busiest time but luckily there were tables available inside. The staff greeted us friendly and explained that we can order using their QR code. Easy to order drinks and food there. We only ordered drinks - Hot chocolate with marshmallows (£3) and Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout (£4.35) - the price is standard as it's in city centre. Place and vibe are perfect for small gatherings as the name states - it is cosy.

Super professional and friendly staff. Food and drinks got to table without detail, no drama when it comes to ordering or payment. Food is good and as expected. Perfect for anyone out in town not specifically fussy and wanting something to eat with a drink.

Me and my partner visited yesterday and I just wanted to give a big shout out to Ash, she was brilliant. So welcoming and warming, made us feel very comfortable. She was the only person to acknowledge us the whole time we were there. She was also very busy, running round after multiple tables and still had a smile on her face even after calling her over a couple times, when we needed something. A truly lovely person. Thank you Ash

Been to a few cosy clubs over the years. Have to say this was the worst experience. Unorganized staff walking around with food and drinks not sure which table it's for! We ordered the warm sourdough share loaf. That was just a normal baguette and not sourdough.

Came here for lunch and sat outside which was lovely because it was hot and sunny! Nice atmosphere and drinks however as it was a busy Friday they were so busy and clearly did not have enough staff. The waitress was trying her best but it took over 40 minutes for a sandwich and two sides to come ( we were told 30 minutes which is fine), the drinks took 20 minutes to come and when the food came the chips were cold. The waitress did replace them straight away however I think we would have had a more pleasant stay if more staff had been available. Lovely little place to sit for a drink but on the weekends prepare for a wait!

We had our anniversary dinner at the Manchester Cosy Club last night (19/10/2022). We were late for our reservation due to a family emergency at the airport. The staff were wonderful in holding our table and moving us to a larger table despite it being so busy. We were served by the wonderful Claire who was so nice. The food as always was amazing. We had the harissa lamb shoulder and the mushroom risotto. This was our first visit to this particular CC venue but it's a credit to their training that we have never had a bad meal or service at any of their restaurants. Highly recommend!

Average, wouldn't rush back. Was Sunday afternoon, bar area, 6 tables of people chilling. Ordered a water and cup of tea (lack of alcohol free beer options), and the Bang Bang Cauliflower. There are VERY little vegan options on the menu. Cauliflower came out within 2 minutes and was so tiny! 4 small bits of cauliflower. It was more PakChoi than cauliflower, and so much sauce. The tea finally came (after being sat on the bar for about 7 minutes, no other drinks were sat on the bar) and after we finished the food. Asked the bar for bar snacks (crisps, nuts..., They don't have any) so ordered fries. The fries came out within 1 minute! So obviously old fries that had been sat in the kitchen. They were cold, so asked for new ones. They were the same ones just fried again. No signage for the toilets. The places nextdoor are nicer.

What a gem! Had a little family outing here today and we were super impressed. Great prices, really lovely food and a super varied menu. Service was amazing! Not sure who manages the music but Mahalia and Irma Thomas are great shouts for your playlists too! See you again x

Nice drinks; you know what you are getting. No fancy names like some! Quiet atmosphere but relaxing. Barman was abit slow in making drinks considering it wasn’t too busy. Would recommend.

Look out, a 10% tip for the server is automatically included in the check. The food is way too expensive for the amount you get. Tastes okay. Servers behave unprofessionally.

Very nice place to have some drinks and be comfortable and casual! It has some great options for finger food! It's a very good option if you are near the big shopping centres thereby. I also really liked the decor of this place, it's so british!

My first time here and I was not disappointed. Our waitress was brilliant I have an allergy and she checked and double checked I was OK to eat. The food I have to say was so good and tasty could not fault it. The chef had even put a little cocktail flag on mine so it didn't get mixed up. Our visit was last Tues and it was so good made even better with a great waitress and really friendly staff. This is the place for a coffee or afternoon drink with friends or a great meal. I'm looking forward to returning.

Came here with 6 friends who I haven’t seen for 18 months because of covid, as a very late 30th birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and patient while a couple of us ran late to the booking. We explained that we needed to be out at a certain time for a booking at the Crystal Maze. The food came out quickly considering there were 7 of us and was absolutely divine! Nothing but compliments all around the table. We also had plenty of drinks/cocktails which were also delicious. Our server Harry was upbeat and had a good laugh with us, he even took a group photo for us and helped us to get out the door on time for our next stop on the birthday tour. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. It was our first visit but won’t be our last!

Went in there for dinner last night. Starters: crispy duck salad and garlic prawns. Mains: 6oz flat iron steak and Harissa lamb shoulder. Topped off with 2 or 3 old fashions. Food was absolutely gorgeous, service was on point. As it was Saturday, it was, at times, pretty raucous

Lovely sitting out on the terrace in the Spring! Not too many vegan options, but the ones they do have are tasty and decently priced.

Wow. We came here for a belated valentines day and left absolutely blown away by the service. Every member of staff was well dressed, well spoken and couldn't do enough to make our visit memorable. The food was on another level. My meal took me on a trip down memory lane, and my partner was also chuffed with his meal. The deserts are divine and must be sampled. The atmosphere is very relaxed, but the attention to detail and service was certainly not. Would recommend to everyone.

Food sources were scrumptious, and the staffs were amicable and mindful. I had exemplary burger, patty was succulent not dry by any means, fries were firm even after it got cold. My accomplice had English breakfast which is our unsurpassed top choice! We had brownie for dessert, it was still warm when we got it. The character was rich, it's anything but a whatever sort of brownie! with frozen yogurt on the top was absolutely an ideal consummation for our date! Delicious food varieties, incredible environment, well disposed staffs. Incredible experience.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
