Lovely
environment,
chic
and
cosy
as
the
name
suggests.
Good
menu
at
reasonable
prices
and
lovely
food
in
the
end.
So
on
a
good
day
this
might
be
worth
a
visit
-
don’t
try
and
access
from
within
The
Corn
Exchange
-
the
only
entrance
is
in
Exchange
Square
on
the
exterior
of
the
building.
However,
it
was
inefficient
and
chaotic
to
say
the
least.
We
had
booked
a
table
for
brunch
priory
to
a
timed
event
-
but
the
table
wasn’t
ready.
We
had
to
wait
15
minutes
of
the
adequate
time
we’d
allowed
(and
the
booking
registration
said
we
had
to
leave
the
table
by
a
defined
time,
so
we
had
allowed
enough).
Then
it
took
another
15
minutes
for
anyone
to
take
our
order
although
the
place
wasn’t
exceedingly
busy.
The
waitress
was
new
(so
it
wasn’t
her
fault-
but
there
was
lack
of
management
or
supervision
of
her
on
her
first
day).
The
order
then
took
a
while
to
come
and
I
had
to
chase
it
up
due
to
time
constraints.
When
it
arrived
it
was
mixed
up.
Several
items
were
the
wrong
thing.
By
the
time
they
got
our
final
order
right
we
only
had
about
ten
minutes
to
eat
it
before
the
time
we’d
planned
to
leave
(which
was
the
time
we’d
been
advised
the
table
was
required
back).
So
although
the
environment
was
promising
and
the
food
actually
very
nice,
and
well
presented,
I
can’t
recommend
this
place
thoroughly
if
you
are
on
a
time
constrained
visit
or
expecting
excellent
service.
