What an absolute delight it was to stop off here on the off chance to then be greeted by beautiful attentive staff, in a classically decorated modern bar. Drinks so reasonably priced but the melt in the mouth, medium rare steak with fluffy thick cut chips topped with a homemade pepper corn sauce. It's a basic meal made exceptionally by the way its prepared. I've eaten some expensive steaks but for somewhere you would think is run of the mill, taking the chance you won't be disappointed. After a morning of shear running around to be pleasantly satisfied with the simplicity of decent well cooked standard food has made my week. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for no fuss but inviting environment with great staff and above standard food. Thank you guys an girls.

AMAZING dark place. If I could give one piece of advice dim the lights even more as my eyes felt slightly irritated by the window. Chef did a grand job even let me add my own toppings to the pizza with a mayo base. Definitely will be coming back here. Perfect date night.

Nowhere near as busy as the city centre pubs, but this may suit some folk. I had fish chips and garden peas with a strong Brewdog ale for £10.41. Very pleased with the quality of the food and the size of the portions.

OMG! Fabulous! I am just beside myself, food was evenly warm (top marks to chef microwave). Black grape AU vodka with cranberry juice is amazing - knocked me out instantly You know a pub is good when your shoes stick to the floor Top Notch.

This Wetherspoon pub is just like any other in the franchise, offering the same familiar experience. The main difference is that this location might be slightly smaller than usual. However, what sets this place apart is the fantastic prices. I was able to enjoy a full English breakfast for an incredible £2.99, and I doubt anyone can beat that value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly meal without compromising on taste, this Wetherspoon pub is a great choice. The wide selection of food and drinks at such affordable prices make it a go-to spot for a satisfying meal.

Lots of off beer and plenty more that is going off. Have had pints served to me here that made me choke it back up as it was completely rancid. Really bad cellar management I guess.

Delightful place with a good atmosphere. The food was good and affordable. A lot of variety of it as well. Had a dinner of fish and chips, it was really good and tasty. Also a recommended place to hang out and have a meal together. Definitely will come back again.

They would rather put glasses on the shelves here, leaving a customer waiting at the bar seems normal pratice. Self absorbed staff and Olivia the Manager hasn't a clue about hospitality or customer service. Dreadful experience 😪 This place is not doing wetherspoons proud at all. Regular spoons attendee btw, and work a bar myself. Shockingly bad. If you don't care about how your treated as a paying customer, you should go here. 👎🏻

I really like this wetherspoons. I come in here every so often to take advantage of the deals as spending £4 on a hot meal and drink is far better than spending £3.40 on a meal deal in Tesco's. The staff are wonderful and most of the people who are here during the day and weekday evenings are wonderful.

I visited your pub and was appalled by the service demonstrated by the manger on duty. We ordered our food around 6:10pm and was told by our server that there was a 25 minute wait on food which was fine. We had a gig to go to for 7pm but didn’t mind being a little late. After waiting 40 minutes and no sign of our food I decided to try to find out how long it would be. I asked the manager on duty who was serving drinks behind the bar. Before I could say anything he rudely said ‘If you want to know how long your food will be there is a 30 minute wait on food. I told him but ours was over 40 minutes and he abruptly chimed in with ‘I said at LEAST 30 minutes.’ I said can you find out how long it will take and his response was No all he can see is the information on the screen. I asked if he couldn’t just go and speak to the kitchen to find out as all I wanted was a rough eta. He then rudely went ‘Fine’. After returning his responses was ‘About 5 minutes could be less could be more’. Our food arrived about 2 minutes later. I did have to return with my burger as there was no tennesse sauce with it. We ate the food which was Luke warm at best but after the unhelpful manner from the manager we didn’t bother complaining as we lost all faith in him. Please could you respond with what action will be taken to make sure customers aren’t treated so rudely. On a positive the lady that served me was pleasant and apologetic and had great customer service skills

Great selection of food and drinks. Hannah is an asset to the company - all of the food that she prepared was exquisite for the price. I will definitely be frequenting this pub.

Great variety of drinks and the food was exceptional. I’ve never had better customer service. I could tell that the preparation of the food handled by Hannah was sublime.

Lovely place, was in yesterday and ordered an 8oz steak, with chips, onion rings, peas and a pepsi for just over £13. The chips were the best I have ever had, very large and substantial. Really enjoyed the steak and the waitress was lovely. If I'm around that area again, I think I'll be going back for another steak.

Well. Where to start. So, the place looks nice inside. Dark, presumably so you can't see too closely. The nuggets where surprisingly very tasty, the burger has tiny and dry. We shared the loaded fries, they could have been better, the cheese was barely melted and lacked flavour. The halloumi was a bit overdone but was also quite cold on arrival. Staff seemed quite nice, although rushed. The place was letdown by the stereotypical spoons crowd. People pushing in, arguing with each other and a delightful couple who seemed close to good old fisticuffs. That might be your type of thing, but not mine.

Had breakfast. Value for money. Excellent atmosphere. Very good ambience. I wonder how they manage to serve such excellent fare at such prices. Their lemonade is recommended.

It's a Whetherspoons. What more can I say? Apart from unusually, you don't have to walk miles, go down into the basement, or climb through the back of a wardrobe to get to the loos. Personally, I wouldn't choose to go to a Whetherspoons, but it was a colleague's leaving drinks.

very good, love their large portion vegetarian full English breakfast and bottomless refillable hot drinks! all for just £4! (breakfast £3, bottomless refillable hot drink £1) such good value for money! should come and definitely recommended 👍🏼

Lovely cosy atmosphere. BUT! Do not order Vegan Veggie Roasted Pizza! It was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. This is not the first time I order this pizza in a wetherspoon. Obviously, this disaster is very much related to the chef. So, my recommendation is just have some beer

This place has been a lifesaver for me recently as the coffee refill has kept me from starving! I had a small English breakfast the other day and not only was it served with speed and efficiency but I enjoyed everything immensely.

Best weatherspoons in Manchester . Even better than the gateway 3.99 mixed grill special was exceptional. Good atmosphere better beer than the awful big hands the filthy little pub next to the academy. If your going to a gig go here .

Quite surprised with the steak! Good overall. Queit friendly place to eat with good prices. I had the simple steak (steak and chips) you get a drink within the price I had a coffee (Free refills), the steak and drink was only £10.60. Ordered the steak Meduim rare it came more rare but I don't mind it that way. I was suprised because the steak was actually really good quality and tasted really nice very good meal for the price I would recommend the steak.

I work away from home and pop in to spoons dor a cheap steak now and again. And honestly say this spoons is one of the best I've been to for a steak we had the gourmet sirloin and it wasn't like a usual spoons steak it was lean with no grizle running through the middle. The chef cooked it perfect, medium rare. Usually the spoons chef just cook all of them the same but this one can actually cook a steak properly.

Pretty good Wetherspoons, decent prices and quite nice inside as far as they go. Fast service and not extremely busy. Went with a friend and for cheap pitchers and very cheap pints, can't comment on the food, However some other people around us got some and it seemed nice enough.

It's another Wettherspoon's, pretty much like any other. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only criticism is that they had no dark ales, not even bottled.

It's just a spoons, you know what you're getting. Not the worst but not the best 🤷‍♂️. Visited purely for the convenience, food was alright but everytime I got a mixed grill it was different 🤣

The ambience is amazing, if you're looking for a place to hangout with your friends, pal around or even go on a date, this is the bar for you. The waiting staff are polite and efficient, and although I didn't sample the food, they did look amazing as the orders went out to the other tables. They have these book shelves in the pub too, if you fancy a read 😁. I would highly recommend going to this bar, if you find yourself on that side of town.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
