Me and my friends was in here last night (04.11.23) and all night was just sat at a table enjoying the music upstairs having a laugh! No issues at all. May I add only 1 of my friends was drinking but me and my girl was sober. I then had no service on my phone so I popped out, I then stood on the right side of the door as I was getting service here so I continued on the phone. A short black male one of the bouncers came over with a disgusting attitude telling me to move from the area , I explained to him I’m just on the phone I won’t be a sec I’m going back in anyways, he proceeded to walk away so I thought everything was fine! He then got a tall black male bouncer with dreads in a pony tail to “move over there now” with some real bad attitude again so I did I move to the left, the shorter one (the one in the picture) then decided I was not going back into the club and pushed me, I was mortified he was pushing a 5ft nothing female (alone) out of the club for no reason, I was in no way aggressive or violent to any of these men. I then explained to him I need to get my friends out the club as I have no service and once again he pushed me, so I got my phone out and recorded him as he has no right to push me, as I got my phone out he smacked my phone into my eye. Once again he had 0 right to assault me as I had done nothing wrong. Clearly abusing his power. The other 2 in stab vests then threaten to “break my fingers” as I was gripped onto the barrier and “drop me, but it won’t be nice” . These are fully grown males abusing their power on a female alone outside of a club. Also I am sober, in no way been aggressive or violent or done anything wrong to get “kicked out of the club”. I was mortified that these men would behave in this disgusting manner as I’ve always had respect for bouncers and would in no way be seen as a trouble causer. Disgusting behaviour as the club is great lovely atmosphere and good music but due to this bullying disgusting behaviour I’ll be making sure no other female gets assaulted the way I did by these bullies and making sure none of my friends step foot in this club again. Disgusting.

Very good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and you will be served quickly at the bar. Plenty of tables and chairs available. The price of drinks is quite high but this expensive cost is made up for by the music and lighting in this venue. You will always have a good night at this Revolution.

Amazing place. Perfect for spend a night out in Manchester and have fun. I like the design and the decorations and the fact that you have 2 floors: one is a cocktail bar, and underneath is a night club. Choose your joy.

I have only ever been here for the company Christmas party so I can't give a review of the place as you might see it. I can however say that I have never had a bad night here. The staff are all polite and prompt despite dealing so many drunk people. We always have plenty of activities put on for us and the buffet is always decent. There is a cloak room in case you need to store your coat or bag as there isn't any dedicated parking. On the other hand the tram stop is literally directly above so it is probably best to just get the tram in. Once you decide you want to leave you will be able to get an Uber or taxi very easily.

I took part in a cocktail making class as part of my hen party and it was absolutely fantastic! Our host Connor was superb! It was by far the best activity we took part in out of the whole weekend, I would definitely recommend!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Very professional. Food was delicious…. Had the sharer plate with extra bacon, onion rings and garlic bread. It was so lovely. Robyn was our server and she was super lovely, friendly and nothing was any trouble. Definitely be here again. Love the convenience of table service too. First time here, definitely not my last!

Tyrice and maddie have been absolutely amazing for our bottomless brunch. They made sure we definitely had drinks no matter what and looked after us so well they were brilliant thank you so much you two you both deserve a raise ❤️

Bouncers are racist. If you are brown, stay away, because the 1 star reviews tell that this is a common experience: Showed up with my brother, my white girlfriend and her white friends. Bouncers chatted up the ladies and let them in. They let my white friend in who was wearing skinny ripped jeans and white sneakers. The refused entry to my brother and I citing our "casual pants". We were both wearing lululemon ABC joggers/pants and smart shoes. They were all smirking and clearly took pleasure in splitting up our group and asserting themselves in the only trivial way they can. They kept mumbling "dress code's online", when in reality, all the website says is no sportswear or trainers. They act like it's a fine dining establishment when it's one of the cheapest and most mediocre restaurants in town. From the window, I could see all the white people inside were dressed no differently than me. I just moved to Manchester from Canada, and this was not a good first impression on my first night out. Also, why do they need 4 bouncers harassing and intimidating patrons. I will never come back here and have told all my friends and classmates about my experience. Shame on Revolution management for allowing this to keep happening.

The atmosphere and music are top-notch. We've been there for the Halloween party, and it was pleasing to party that night. However, there are few things to mention here. The bartenders on the ground floor are extremely slow on orders, the cloakroom was there but not operating, lack of toilets and queue ups were quite unpleasant. Overall it was a decent experience, and I'd recommend the place since it has quite a unique feel to it and enough space to dance.

It was my stag doo and my party had arranged to have food here. They had paid for everything prior to our arrival. As we arrived, the bouncers instantly said 'he's not coming in, he's too drunk'! Even though I was sober. I assume it was because of the outfit that I was wearing. This put a dampener on things, because we were having a good time up until this point. They agreed to serve our food, but outside with no drinks. So we ate our food and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The bouncers, or security were quite aggressive and on a power trip. They love the power!

Thank you to the sales team for making everything so easy and for making my daughter’s 21st birthday get together such an enjoyable event! The room looked beautiful, food was amazing and all staff absolutely lovely!

I was in this establishment Saturday night for a works do. Bar staff were lovely however I was taken out of the club by a bouncer at around 1:30am and told I could not go back in. I didn’t have my phone or my coat and all the bouncers were outside refusing to let me back in to get anything. I was on my own, drunk and I’m an 18 year old girl. I was crying because I was panicking saying I need my phone to call my mum and one of the bouncers turned around called me annoying and told me to go away. Thankfully one of my friends came out with my coat and got me in an Uber home however if this is how bouncers treat young vulnerable girls I will not be coming back here. Disgraceful, disgusting behaviour.

Very disappointing will never go in again. Aggressive & rude bouncers . If you check your reviews this seems to be a common theme. Behaviour of the bouncers spoilt the night. You need to get rid of all the bouncers and retrain them in dealing with customers. A bouncer does not need to be rude & aggressive no need for there very poor behaviour

I only went in for a drink so can't rate food. The place is bigger than I imagined and looks as though it would be a great place for large groups too. Bar service excellent, staff friendly and helpful

Went here with my daughter who had booked us an afternoon tea. Great value and really enjoyed it. A cocktail was included in the price also and our visit coincided with perfect timing for 2 for 1 cocktails. Good location as right near to Deansgate train station. Waitress/bar staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.

Terrible table service they kept wondering off, it was 5pm so they weren't too busy, vastly overpriced drinks, very unclear pricing, took forever to take our order, my cola was half empty, they gave me a 2 person table when I booked a 3. They had no idea about the allergens, despite me telling them ahead of time that we had allergens, and the allergens were hard to find on the website. The toilets were not clean, some had no seats, the brickwork was bubbling up with damp. Pizza was ok, very bready with not much topping.

....very nice it made our Saturday great, good dj mix, appeals to every genre... though all the seating seemed to be reserved, it it may be best to book if you are having a daytime outing was we were there for just drinks, specifically loved the vodka mix , particularly the spicy flavor

Me & my husband went here on the 7th Aug for a quick lunch while we were attending a wine course around the corner. I was really disappointed with the food. I have eaten at the branch in Chester before and had decent food. Not sure if it was an inexperienced chef, or an off day. But we both ordered the vegan burger, mine with salad, husband's with chips. It took close to 45 mins to get to us which meant we had to scoff it down quickly in order to get back to our course in time. The burger patty was way overcooked and had become hard and very dry. The bun had been burnt to nearly black on the under side. I'm not sure if we had to fetch our own cutlery, but there was none on the table, so I wouldn't have been able to eat my salad even if I had had time. 2 stars because the staff were friendly enough and I love the decor.

An excellent range of food and drinks, including vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options, including some very reasonably priced meal-deals. The food I ordered was lovely, and the service was outstanding. 11/10

We had pre-booked for a group of around 15 including food. I got accosted and told off by the bouncer prior to even entering for vaping inside, despite me having not actually been inside yet, the group in front of me were still waiting at the host station to be seated. The food options for the booking were terrible, 4 different types of Margherita pizza for some reason and a couple of burgers. I ordered a vegetarian burger which was possibly the priest thing I've ever eaten, a measly amount of chips and we had to vigorously flag down a member of staff to get some sauce for any type of moisture. I flagged down a member of staff again to order some drinks and was told they don't do an Old Fashioned, he directed me to a menu of around 40 different cocktails, but apparently no ability to make a simple classic - strange for what is ostensibly a cocktail bar. I would have been to pay for ingredients as separate items if the issue was that they didn't have a till button for it, but they seemed completely uninterested. All in all, not a great experience. It was booked by out-of-towners, so I'd expect them to recognise Revs as a big brand and as such, an easy, reliable option. However, there are literally hundreds of better places to go in Manchester, and for larger groups, there are still many better options.

The pinacolada was cheap and delicious. Tyrah was rly sweet and friendly to our table.

Fanstastic bar with great staff, arrived at 3pm on Saturday for a table of 6 for my daughters pre dinner drinks, and was welcomed by the team and waited about 20 mins for a lovely table in the sun.

Absolute disgrace! Visiting from South Australia. 4.30pm Saturated after walking from tram looking for a dry place to have a quiet drink. Place was empty. 'Security' person rude & dismissive. Refused entry because 'we can't allow entry for a group of 8'. Seriously? Welcome to Manchester!

We went for the experience and the cocktail masterclass was super fun! Rory was amazing and made the experience so much better. However when it came to the food, it came out very cold. And staff were a little sparce. The food wasn't great. You get very little amount of chips, the burger was very dry. And the brownie tasted more like cake.

Great place to visit for drinks when in Manchester city centre - good cocktail range and very reasonably priced - 2 cocktails for £10 - and long "happy hours." Just next to Deansgate train station. Recommended, I'll be back

Very pleasant visit Friday lunch for the new lunch special - we both had the fish and chips with optional alcoholic drinks. Our server Ellie made us feel welcome and helped with our drink options and spent time chatting. Other staff all pleasant and attentive to make the visit enjoyable. The lunch offer is great value @ £4-99 inc a drink, and two gin cocktails for £10 in great surroundings. Thanks to the team.

Fab place. The drinks just kept on coming! Food wasn't great (although the hash browns were incredible!!). The toilets definitely need a makeover. But staff were fabulous, always smiling and happy to help, despite being rushed off their feet with customers.

We did a cocktail making session for my friends hen do and it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Rory looked after us and he was superb. If you're thinking of doing the cocktail session do it! Would 100% do it again

Our waitress Tyrah was so attentive and gave us so much attention tonight. We had great service and great drinks for celebrating an important night. Overall we had a phenomenal time and would recommend any of their drinks.

Visited last night and had the best time. Harry and Connor were so friendly, and we had such a laugh with them. I have the hangover from hell today, but it was all worth it.

Fast friendly and solid food offering. Visited for a bottomless brunch on a Saturday as a couple - this place is hen party central so do be prepared for that- otherwise we were very well looked after and will plan to visit again.

I was due to a private event of salsa, it was good. The athmosphere was good and the staff its really kind and helpfull. There was enough space and it was not fully cowded and I did love it. the place looks nice and clean. They've got tables and aswell space to be stending up.

I have been to revolution on many occasions and I have had a pleasant experience, which it is why its such a shame to right such a poor review. This is not a reflection on the revs staff at all. This is purely the bouncers you choose to employ. They are rude, aggressive and choose to pick fights with customers for no reason and ruin the evenings of many people. Think they need a lesson in customer service.

I have never ate here before but I definitely will again, delicious food and a bargain price. The building is in a great location. The staff were very nice and made us feel welcome.

Went here yesterday for my friend's birthday, we did a cocktail class with the lovely Molly. She was so nice and really made our night fun. The drinks were amazing and she made us feel like we were pros! We had a great evening and would love to come back and do it again. Thanks for such a good time!!

Giving 5 stars simply for Jade who presented our cocktail making class! She was BRILLIANT, give the girl a pay rise or employee of the month or something! Our hen party was late there due to a taxi driver taking us to the wrong Revolution! So when we finally got there and we were all a bit flustered, she helped calm us down and get us all settled in without making us feel rushed, she made us feel at ease and chatted to us and we had a fun time making cocktails, the food was nice but its weird timings that they bring it in the middle of the cocktail class so we didn't all get to have a go, maybe they should do food at the end instead so you all get to make a cocktail first. All in all, we had a really good time, thank you.

Love it here. The staff are brilliant and interacted with us all night. We made light work of the shots offer of 6 for £10 and had pretty much one of each flavour which were quality and not the usual cheap stuff you get at other venues

Good night, but to many people downstairs for me. Bar staff were great, toilets like all clubs were horrible, no cleaning during the night and the other animals who were worse for wear had been sick in every toilet. Just clean your toilets and people would feel comfier using them....

We had a great time here, being with good people's and all but a couple of things let our experience down. First is not at fault of Revos other than it was dead for a Friday night. Bouncers were still a bit stern on the doors despite how quiet it was. Good to keep to standards I guess. Secondly, we got a table that was short lived as the bar closed half an hour early (because it was so quiet). Wasted a fair amount of drinks. I wouldn't mind checking this place out again on a busier night, I'm sure the vibe is live.

Only went for some drinks at lunch so we didn't try the food therefore unfortunately cannot give a review on the food. Lovely place and they do a variety of cocktails. What makes it even better is that the cocktails are 2 for £10 but please note, this only applies to some cocktails.

Absolutely love this venue, Central Manchester is always such a wonderful place to be but revolution genuinely adds to its wonder with their amazing cocktails on the 2-10. Molly was awesome and saved my trip from turning sour 🙌 with staff like this, I can understand why everyone has a smile on their faces 😊 will definitely be back

Had such a lovely time, went on a Monday evening so it was quiet but the staff were still so accommodating! Our cocktail masterclass was absolutely incredible! Connor was so so so wonderful, I absolutely can’t fault the experience a single bit. I would shout my recommendation from the rooftops if I could. We were taken care of so well, the drinks and games and experience was 1000/10! Incredible!

If there is zero star I would choose that. This place is breaking the laws of the UK by discriminating people like all of the reviews below who said that they were selective YES INDEED. I passed by and said I d chill in one of these there. Went to this revolution and the doorman said sorry we do not allow singles. I waited outside not for the sake of entering but for the sake of checking if he will allow others and boom he allowed group of girls and some other single persons. The other female doorman was trying to say give us money to let you enter. Such a cheap behaviour. I feel sorry for Manchester to have you in Deansgate. Literally, there are much better places than yours in Manchester. You should be reported for breaking the law and discriminating people.

A really nice location, Revs gets a bit of a bad rep but I bloody love it. I'm a not a little party pants and went for Sunday drinks and a bite to eat. Perfect, sun was out, staff really friendly and having a good time, drinks and food good quality and there was decent tunes on. I had a really good afternoon with friends chilling here and feeling happy.

me and the hubby had some lovely service before seeing Lewis capaldi this week, great choice of cocktails for 2 for 10. however we returned for another drink after the concert, and as we sat down we used the order to table app as we had done earlier as this was the recommended ordering procedure. we waited 26 minutes and were given a very rude response to waiting, 'we're busy' and then the drinks were shoved in front of us with no apology for the wait. if later on it is not an option to order to the table that should be made clear, our companion went to the bar and got their drinks 20 minutes earlier. shame as the service earlier was really good.

What a shambolic experience. We had "bottomless brunch". The food was as cheap as it could be. I had a Bottomless Brunch Grill. *Coming disgusting. The crispy bacon was two half centimeter pieces of burnt bacon. The eggs were burnt on the bottom and raw on top. The mushrooms were cooked to an inch of their life. Beans, they were supermarket own brand. The hash brown just collapsed when trying to cut it, so it needed scooping onto the fork. And there was no butter for the toast.

Had lunch for daughters Graduation. Could not fault the service. Rory was a star, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Great location. This place has a cool vibe about it. The service was good and my food (skinny pizza) was pretty good but my husband had a Revolution Dog which was not good at all. Overpriced, hard as a rock and quite small. It's a shame - we usually like Rev's wherever they are but unfortunately his disappointment with his food spoiled things.

Had bottomless brunch here, service for drinks was great, prosecco on the table at arrival and we got at least 8 cocktails each, could easily have got more so great value in that respect. Food was your average bottomless brunch, burger and chips, and a disappointingly sized portion too, but tasty none the less. At £27.50 value for money wasn't bad at all.

Came in for my birthday and the service was amazing! Liam was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome and had a good laugh. We had the vegan afternoon tea and it was beautiful. Once again thank you Liam you made it a fantastic experience!
