I was pleasantly surprised when dinning with my friends at this French restaurant!😁😊 It's so refreshing when the service, the establishment and the food match and reflect on each other. By that I mean the waitress was nice, courteous, knowledgeable and warm. The place was clean, quiet and easy to find. The food was delicious and affordable. I would have given it 5 stars if the crab starter was not so salty but they didn't charge us for it after we made them aware. If you eat pork order the Beef cheeks, as it contains bacon, hmmm they are to die for!❤️😘. Otherwise, the steak is a good option too. For starters I recommend the calamaris are yummy particularly with the sauce it comes with! So two mains and two starters comes around £50 max. I highly recommend this place and I will gladly come back!

Gorgeous food, amazing service, lively but quiet atmosphere. Just a fantastic place to visit, I can't recommend enough. Alvaro was our waiter, always attentive, and polite, just everything exactly as it should be. Make sure you try their cheeseboard!

3/5 for value 2/5 for main course: seafood not fresh. Mussels smells not too good. Cream spinach is kinda sour 5/5 for this fig salad. Really creative dish 1/5 for coffee: sour tastes like yogurts 4/5 for ambience 4/5 for service: a waiter messed up our courses name 5/5 for Ambience and cleanness not too bad Overall spent about £40 per person with 3 sides, 2 coffee, 2 main courses and 1 salad. but the portion is sooooo small yet the tastes still needs to be improved. though

Absolutely wonderful food. The only drawback was too long waiting time for the desert. But it was worth every minute.

The restaurant's atmosphere was excellent, and the steak was not as good as I expected, but I was satisfied. I had prawn gratin for an appetiser, and it was pretty good.

I went with a friend for an early evening meal at Cote a couple of weeks ago and we had the fish parmentier, nice but a little too salty, which we did comment on. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing and we had a good table next to the window. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I AM NOT HAPPY HOWEVER WITH THE INCREASING MOVE TOWARDS CASHLESS PAYMENTS, IT FORCES PEOPLE TO PAY ON A CARD WHEN THEY DON'T WANT TO. KEEP CHOICE. Helen

lovely smart casual restaurant . Great for dates or if you're celebrating something. We ordered from the set menu (the one after 7pm. they have a set menu for before 7pm which is cheaper but I've heard the portion sizes are also smaller). we got 2 course: sea bass and belly pork for main and the almond financier and chocolate and salted caramel tart for dessert. All 4 were lovely. - Sea bass was prefectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. be careful of bones (i didnt come across any small ones but just a big one near the end). - belly pork was nicely cooked and came with a side of dauphinoise potatoes which were very creamy and went well with the belly pork. - Almond financier was very dense and almondy. It goes very well with the vanilla ice cream. - chocolate tart was sweet but not too sweet. I found it fine and it came with ice cream so it wasnt too sweet but my friend found it quite sweet.

We went for dessert and I was showing my friend a clip on my phone (literally 10 sec snap) and as soon as I showed her, the waiter approached us and said people are complaining about us using the phone which was so rude and literally no one complained. Even the guys sitting next to us complained about the waiter and said that another table are using their phone, how come you didn’t say anything about them and only approached these girls? So disappointed 👎🏼

Have dined here many times. The food is consistently good and the servers always friendly and attentive. Prices reasonable. Would recommend.

The food we had was excellent in respect to quality. However, don't go here hungry, unless you want to fork out for 5 courses. Both the starters and the mains we had were tiny. When you pay for a meal, you want a meal, not a snack. For mains, my partner ordered seabass and didn't get a whole fish. I ordered tabouleh which was a miserly portion. Considering it was mostly couscous and a few pieces of butternut squash (admittedly delicious), their mark up must have been staggering. On top of this, I felt somewhat tricked into paying a service charge. The waitress had placed the itemised bill under a small menu card and presented me with the payment machine without telling me the charge was added, let alone giving me an option to decline. It was only on finding the hidden bill that I realised it had been added - I almost left another tip. This felt like some kind of practiced ruse as the bill was definitely tucked away and had to be searched for. I'm aware this review may make me sound a skinflint. That's not the case - I'm happy to pay generously for good food. I just don't like being fleeced.

Went there last week with the Mrs. Had the beef bourguignon which was heaven. Onion Soup as a starter and some garlic bread. All was really good. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely go back 🤭❤️

I came here for my graduation and I had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, both starters and mains, and we kept ordering more of the bread cause it was so good! The drinks were also really good! And the desserts were also perfect! Our waiter was really really lovely, and he managed to interact even with my family, most of whom don’t speak English. After I told him I really liked the cocktail I ordered, he even got me another one for free as a graduation gift! We had an amazing night and this dinner really made my graduation day special, can’t wait to go back!!!

Lovely food, presentable and taste just right. Unfortunatelly service is quite slow. I know its not "in and out" restaurant but waiting 1h26m for mains to come its abit too much. We came before work to celebrate aunties birthday ,looks like we wont make it on time to work if we want to wait for mains to come. No baby change avilable so it is not very toddler friendly but its ok not every place have to be i get that. Just something worth mention. Washing hands in toilet can cause some degree burns so avoid hot tap. Im sorry i have to mention those in negative way. I see staff working well, being very friendly and delightful. Once meals comes from kitchen they amazing. Just abit slow . Will need to leave restaurant to extend parking to be able to finish our dining experience. Im looking forward to dessert as they look lovely too ( update , it took too long to be able to order desserts , we really had to go). Not sure what beans they use but coffee is just yummy. ...im giving 2 star because i think 2h to finish starter and 1 main its too long for a dining in. I struggled to keep my child occupied and i was starving by the time main meal came. Also for a 9 months pregnant woman it was really hard and unconfortable for me to sit that long in one position also my guests waant very happy with wait time. We literally had to run to be able reach the car before traffic warden as there was no avilable spaces to park anywhere near by so all of that overshadowed tasty food and made experience not as good. Just too slow of a service.

Ate here for brunch. Good menu choices from lighter to full. We had the champagne breakfast which is excellent value. Very good service. Nice surroundings and decor, it was fairly quiet so lacked a buzz but was still nice.

This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good

We celebrated my son's birthday at the Cote Brasserie and everything was superb! Delicious food, a lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff. My son and daughter had the French onion soup, which was as good as any we've ever had in Paris. We also had the steak frites, Cote burger and the tomato tart fine, all were delicious and perfectly cooked. My son said it was the best burger he'd ever tasted. 10/10 would absolutely dine here again.

Some food options are hit and miss in terms of presentation, quantity and taste. Most options are great though. Always a great place to get food as a nice big restaurant with classy decor and usually a spare table. Staff always very lovely. Price is spot on.

We had 5 main dishes, 4 desserts (one for 2), 3 teas, 4 beers, 2 starters and the bill was pretty okay, slightly under 200 with the service included. The food was at a pretty decent level but here the company is a bit divided, some of the party loved it, and others would not found it as good as other similar places, expecting more from the spicing. The Fougasse was great according to everyone, soft, testeful, warm, fluffy - we loved it! The deserts we tried were all great! (the Christmas special for 2, the coffee one and spiced Crème Brule I will never recommend the steak tartare and find it the worst I have tried. This is a matter of personal preference, but I usually eat steak tartare and love it. About the atmosphere: We went at 16:00 and it was already crowded and noisy, one can hardly hear their friends and have to raise their voice, that leads to more noise. Going there I would recommend you to avoid the peak hours if you will like to enjoy your company. The staff helped us as at first they did not find the reservation and did not expect us, but they fixed the mistake without extra stress. I did nto expect that we have to fight for the staff's attention throughout the dinner. Our table was full of finished pots and glasses but we had to ask twice to clean up so we can have it comfier. There was one of the girls that was not our waiter and saved our experience, being super friendly and helpful. Overall I would like to return, but it is conditional.

Too start off we regularly go for meals of different types we like too try new places in different areas different styles of food ect and we rarely have a bad meal from anywhere but i can honestly say this was by far the best it cost £75.00 we had one glass of red wine two beers and two courses and two sides for two people so i would say the price isnt too expensive either they do put a service charge on the bill which can be deducted if wanted we deducted ours and then gave a tip we found suited too us . The food was amazing service was really good restraunt was clean and well presented , i also like when your greeted at your table they ask have you any allergies as i person with allergies myself i felt really comfortable in saying i had allergies and they came and read out the stuff what didnt have egg in some places have such a negative approach too allergies and make you feel uncomfortable letting them know but i loved the approach they took towards my allergy. And when wanting too try a red wine they gave me little tasters of different ones which was nice to see as i wouldnt like too buy a glass i didnt enjoy i dont drink red wine so much so didnt know which one suited my taste the guy was very helpful in helping me get the right one which suited my tatse the staff really go above and beyond and their food matched would highly recommend perfect for a date night or birthday havent got one complaint about this place

Just had the fixed price lunch menu. Very good food. Liked the mushroom soup but the bread was a bit hard. Sea bass as a main was very good. Service was excellent. Just be aware of the optional 12.5% service charge. Otherwise it deserves 5 stars.

The staff were delightful. Helpful and in no way pushy. We had the fixed price lunch £14.95 for 2 courses and £18.95 for 3 courses. I had the pear and goats cheese salad followed by the roasted butternut squash on lentils with olive tapenade. Both were delicious. The nicest food I've had in ages and excellent value for money. Thank you Cote. Wish I lived nearer.

Food was really nice and would say it's reasonably priced enough, if not slightly on the higher side. For the most part it was excellent, although we were on a table for 2 that was rounded. We ordered the 22oz sharing steak which became a bit of a juggling match with both our plates, everything already on the table, drinks and the steak in the middle with the side dishes. So really the only main gripe is the table was a bit too small.

The beef steak was quite tough with both, mine and my friend. I order medium well but I think the staff missed write "well". So the inside is medium but it tasted like burned from the outside. The bone is already 1/3 of the beefsteak and we had to pay £60 for that piece of beefsteak. So, I must say: we were over charged. Apart from that, customer service is very good and the restaurant looks very nice.

  • 5/5 Nancy Y. 11 months ago on Google
The dishes are up to standard and good, with reasonable price. The only thing to be improved is the waiting time for the food served after placing the orders.

  • 4/5 Richard M. 9 months ago on Google
One of the best meals I have had in a long time! A real treat! Really welcoming for the solo traveller! Excellent choice of food and wine at a very reasonable price for what is offered. Service is really good, too. I ate crab, an excellent ribeye and equally brilliant cheese. I can only recommend it! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!
