Staff prior to 17:00 are always great, and staff are always a joy. On two visits a bald staff member has called us c**ts despite us probably providing most of their revenue for the day. The staff earlier than this were really friendly with us, but this particular guy openly called us c**ts at his first interaction with us. If we were too loud he could've said immediately like most normal humans would've. Despite us being 8 out of 12 people in there this guy decided to openly offend us yet not actually kick us out as if he knew he couldn't.

Stunning looking bar, exceptionally well done. Great range of cask and keg beers that are constantly changing. However it's the bottle cellar menu that's the killer, it's simply incredible. Some serious beers are available including quite rare and unusual bottles from the USA and Europe. Bar snacks are available, be warned though you get a small mountain of peanuts.

I don't know how I haven't reviewed them before, although it's definitely one of the general craft beer places I'd recommend to anyone visiting Manchester or trying to get into craft beer. 🐝 Not only do they often have a varied selection of beer on tap, but they usually have craft beer events in collaboration with amazing breweries and have a private event space which often hosts incredible events. 🍻

We stopped in here, after failing to find somewhere for lunch, and noticed they had food on offer. I'm really glad we did! The beer selection was very good and reasonably priced, the staff were friendly, and the sausage / veggie rolls were amazing! I ended up buying one of the glasses as they were so cute and nice to drink from. 10/10 would go back.

05/04/23: always a winner on a trip to town. Fantastic selection or craft ales, something to suit everybody! Great booth seating area available! The beer in the photo is a 13% abv, Cuvée Delphine cask strength Imperial Stout, from The De Struise Brouwers. Not for the faint hearted and 1/3rd glass was sufficient.

Visited on Christmas eve it was really quiet, the staff were not really interested in being helpful. Ordered drinks and two beverages for our drivers. Went back 20 minutes later for the teas to find they had forgotten them. Not that they were busy or anything. They duly arrived 10 minutes later. How long does it take to pour hot water on a teabag? Not impressed won't be returning

I have been there with my wife and brother to drink a beer and eat some chips. Very good beer and only 2 stars for the service because you need to go order and pick up your beer. Basically no service . Anyway we love the beer and atmosphere.

Cafe Beermoth us a craft ale bar situated on Brown Street, Manchester. There is a wide range of ales, beers and ciders. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to offer help with recommendations. There is wheelchair access but no parking. Suitable for solo or family visits. Bar snacks are available.

My favourite craft beer bar in Manchester. Serving very special pint, can have tasting before buying. Price is decent, depending on what u get. Some could go up to £7 for 2/3 pint, some £4 for a pint. Environment is chill, best for a pint for Sunday afternoon

Very good pub about 15 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. Large bar on the ground floor together with a mezzanine. Some seats outside.

Modern craft ale joint. Nice atmosphere, lots of choice and knowledgeable staff. Decent bar snacks too.. Worth a visit.

Fabulous bar! Rustic, quirky decor with the odd plant growing and beers lining the window shelves, great taste in music played, but highest commendation goes to an amazing selection of the very best beers available (6 cask taps, 10 keg) and a quality beer fridge. Staff friendly and trained in ensuring they serve beer in top quality condition - top ups if head very slightly too big proactively given. When I visited I found that on cask the beer was a notch colder than I’m used to - not a bad thing in Summer temperatures, and certainly the beer lost none of its quality or flavour because of it. Breweries represented include local guys Track, and the styles on offer are very varied including radlers - something you rarely see. A must for beer lovers in Manchester.

This is one of the best bars in Manchester if you like beer. Great selection of cask, keg and Belgium beers. All the beers are well looked after and the staff are super friendly and willing to offer advice. A must visit if your into beer!

Great Manchester beer institution! Amazingly kept Cask and keg. Air con when it's hot. ALL about the beer; lovely & knowledgeable staff too.

Great for beer, good choice and the beer menu is big. Nice and clean and could definitely sit in there for some hours. Nicely tucked away but not too far from the shops so easy to get to

My all time favourite drinking spot in Manchester. Absolutely convenient meeting point to get anywhere in town. Excellent choice of beer changing daily. Some delicious pies and pastries being served on the counter. Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended but would rather keep it a secret

Great spot to try a few from the selection of 17 craft beers on tap. Our cheese and meat sharing platter was a great pairing with the beers!

We popped in on a January Tuesday night and were welcomed, despite being a group of 21 on a belated staff Christmas do (we also work in hospitality). The beer was great, as were the snacks, but the best thing was the relaxed, cheery bartender for whom nothing was a problem. Top marks.

Cool place with plenty of craft beers and friendly staff. Prices are acceptable as for a city centre. Definitely recommended!

Really good Craft Beer Pub. Fantastic selection of excellent beers on cask and draft. Decent take away selection too. Really nice place and very helpful and friendly bar staff. Big shout out and thank you to Callum who looked after us very well. I'll definitely make a return visit next time I'm in Manchester.

Been here twice, once on a Monday evening in January 2018 when it was quite quiet, still with about 10 or so customers. I had the mixed meat & cheese board and it was very good. The beer though is top quality and a very wide choice. Bar people know their stuff. The other time was a Wednesday last March and it was packed. Quite a youngish crowd. I just had a couple of beers that time. On my own staying over on business, reading my book. Luckily they have a high bench running down the centre so you can always squeeze in somewhere. Very good place. I recommend it. They do off-sales of some very interesting looking beers but I didn’t take up the offer. Maybe next time!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
