Could literally live in this place 😬 it has everything! Great staff, fantastic atmosphere, very relaxing with it's contemporary style of seating both indoors and out, beer garden to the rear overlooking a bowling green, prices of drinks a little over the average but for the sake of a couple of pence in comparison to wetherspoons it's a no brainer! Haven't actually had a main meal as yet, my partner and I keep getting the same dishes each time we visit 🙄 (Should be more adventurous but hey) 100% good time garaunteed 😃

We’ve been coming to The Lloyds for a while now and really enjoy Wednesday night quiz nights! Such good fun and it’s a proper paper quiz too… none of your IPad ones. Big shout out to the staff.. all so friendly and courteous.. lovely bunch of people! Foods good too! Especially the apple crumble Xx

A huge John W Lees pub with a bowling green to the rear. It was doing a good Sunday food trade. Beer range from JW Lees brewery. Paulicarus had the bitter. There is a north facing front terrace and a sunnier one to the side. Very pleasant open plan pub. Large toilets downstairs.

27/06/23: very dog friendly "we prefer dogs to people" so we had the MPA and Restless Ghosts: black forest gateau brown ale. Archie had water!

Was a great pub, now its dead. Silly prices. Always new staff, that dont want to be there. Only michelle still, and she was leaving to join andys pub. These pubs got greedy, last 2/3yrs, now paying the price. Wetherspoons, is half the price, and you get a hello.

A standard pub service boring food. Located on the edge of Chorlton this pub set in a lovely, spacious building is sadly lacking much to recommend it. It's good for a pint and staff were friendly. The beer garden is next to a main road, chips are ok, the prawns with chorizo was barely warm (even the bread wasn't toasted). It does host events like a pub quiz (and psychic readings?). It would be good for a group drink with friends but food wise it's heavily leaning on meal deals and there's far better places to eat within a 2 min walk.

Sunday Roasts sold out as well as some other options of the menu. Food was very bad and basic. The kids sausage, chips and beans were appalling. Staff were polite but waited 45-minutes between courses and it wasn't busy.

I had a great day here for a friend's wedding. Lots of nice beer on tap. The food was nice too.

What a shame for a place that has some of the most attentive and polite staff, the food and ambience let the place down. The furnishings need an overhaul unless they're supposed to look worn and tattered. The food wasn't great. Pale soggy chips, greasy burgers, too much cheese for the kids on a burger and microwave or reheated wings in sauce. Not the best. Taste was lacklustre. It could be a fab eatery but needs attention. Staff however faultless!

Staff and extremely friendly, the food is great and reasonably priced, the portions are generous. The live music on Sundays is fantastic too. I always look forward to that.

Food not quite top notch, but no complaints, we would recommend to others and if in the area again would definitely choose Lloyds. Molly gave exceptional table service, nothing was too much trouble, very smiley and polite.

Best visit to date. Service much improved. It was busy , atmosphere was great. Nice singer on. Order a children's meal which was good value and free ice cream is decent. Will be back on a Sunday tea time.

Service was shocking, food was not very nice at all and hardly any of it, the veg was discoloured and soggy and the Yorkshire pudding were hard and turned to dust, even with the lumpy gravy they provide. After dinner only half the plates were collected we had to ask for the rest to be removed, we was given no menus and no sauce for the Sunday dinner and we waited a long time for food the only reason I'm giving 2 stars was because we enjoyed the brownies for dessert and beers. Don't recommend eating here at all have a beer instead

A great experience today with the family. Fantastic food and service. I would recommend the burger and the Sunday roast but everything that came out was nice. Great value!

I had my birthday party here and highly rate the staff. They are so friendly - bar man for my party was lovely, other staff helping out were brilliant and accommodating. We just wanted a nice chill event for everyone to get together and it was perfect. No hassle or fuss, some of my friends were planning on booking the same place for their own events. Thanks for the good night to everyone at The Lloyds!

It was pleasant enough. I didn't eat or drink there so can't comment on that aspect. Decent seating in a spacious area. The building is dated but in saying so it has character. The toilets are clean and pleasant to use. The toilets are downstairs so accessibility could be an issue. I did not observe any on ground floor level. Still, there are powerful dryers. That will do for me. 👍🏼👍🏼

Huge pub with an outdoor area. Staff were really friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. Some of the furniture is a bit worn but overall a decent pub with a chilled atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Pub bit on the expensive side at 4.05 per pint of Carlsberg. Very nice decoration and excellent service from the bar staff on visit on the 3rd of September. My visit was for a function room birthday and I found myself going down to pub bar than the function room one due to selection. Pub was well maintained and clean. Very good atmosphere. Four out of five stars purely because of the price of beer and cider.

I enjoy their battered Fish and chips. Recently they changed the batter recepie (delicious) crispy batter and moist COD inside. But the last three times I have been recently between (5pm & 7pm) they have run out of Cod!!! Annoying and deserpointing. I suspect on busy nights they have a rough idea of dinning No's.. Since the last relaxation from Covid 19 trade has increased. So one would think they would increase their order"Sooo Please order more. After all they would make more money("It's not, rocket science one has speculate too accumulate I ate") I hate complaining (and I am sorry for my complatint.) / The staff our excellent, hard working under pressure, friendly, imfomative and patient!!!!!, ( nothing seems too be too much trouble .) 😌🤗👍😊 Sooo, A BIG THANK YOU FRONT LINE STAFF FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY. 😊👍👍🙌😁🙏🙏🙏

I went for the quiz. I can't therefore comment on the food but it is a jw lees place so I have high hopes, but no pressure! The quiz lasted 2 hours, fast paced, well conducted by the quiz master, the questions pretty challenging so bring a brain. It is a phone quiz so you download an app. I haven't done a phone quiz before but I am now enlightened and might go to more phone based pub quizzes. I won £10 drinks for second place and 1st place I think got a meal. Hopefully that'll be me next week. Get yourself down on a Wednesday night for 8:30 pm to have a good quiz time.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
