A very expensive sports bar selling main brand beer. They have no real ale. I was charged £15.30 for three pints, though the beer I wanted was not available at the time. The place lacks any character really, though there is once nice looking booth at the far end, though in there you cant see the big screens very well. Generally I would recommend finding somewhere else.

The burgers are good, go for the skin on fries - they are really good. Chris & staff very attentive and hospitable. Place shows live sports too. Get yourself down. 5/5

Nice sports bar! Totally fun when they have big football matches! Love the setup they have downstairs for viewing the match. Food service was good, decent food. Overall nice experience.

If you want to watch a big sporting event here, don’t book a table - their staff will probably just give you ours. Food is good. Bar staff are good. Front of house is terrible.

Bar Staff were friendly and great - so didn’t give a 1 star. Common sense dictates that if you take a booking 2 weeks in advance to watch both six nations games - you’d put the booking in an area where you’re planning on playing both six nations games.Told us before the England game that the manager had said that Man City games take priority and the game would only be on one small screen upstairs with no audio past the first half. At this point there were no tables / chairs remaining downstairs. Couldn’t have informed us in the nearly 3 hours we were spending money in there before the England game? Or just put our booking downstairs beforehand? Ended up having to go downstairs + took one chair down for one of us to sit on and rest of us stood - bit of a waste of a booking system if you ask me.

You won’t get change out of 6 quid for almost any pint here, but the food is a joke. I ordered at the same time as a friend - mine came out after an hour and was cold and average at best (it was a chicken burger for 11 quid), and theirs (chips and chicken strips) still hadn’t arrived after 1h 15m, so we had to cancel it as we had an event booked somewhere. When we asked for the refund it took 6-7 minutes for the manager to come and didn’t really seem that bothered. The best part is that this is the second time we’ve had to cancel food out of two visits. There are lots better places to eat, drink and watch football within a few minutes’ walk. I’d steer clear.

Came across this place after a recommendation from a good friend and i was slightly in owh of the place. From it being pet friendly they do some amazing bites to eat, an who can moan at 50p wings. The staff were great, greeted us with a smile an made us feel genuinely welcome. I am in love with there back bar which is probably on of the best stocked I've seen in a long while but whatever your fancy I'm sure they'll have something for everyone. It's quite a cosey venue but don't be fooled by the ground floor as they have a large basement area too with plenty of room, and yes its a sort of sporty bar but not one of the rowdy kind like some chain-bars i could mention. I'n my opinion deffo worth a pass through as you make your way through the city madness!!

Came here to take on their GutBuster challenge! We were a bit disappointed to find out it wasn’t the one that BeardMeatsFood took on, but realised the 50 chicken wings in 20 minutes would have to do. A serious struggle for me (only managed 26), but light work for my friend - it was his first challenge and he is now the only person to beat the new one! The staff were all so friendly, and the food was really delicious too - also, the bar/restaurant itself is so nice - so many cool spots and bar games to play! I highly recommend just for drinks, but take on the challenge if you dare!

**Brotherhood and Pursuits: A Cozy Sports Bar with Unique Charm** Nestled near St. Peter's Square, Brotherhood and Pursuits presents itself as a distinctive and cozy sports bar in Manchester. Despite being on the pricier side, this establishment offers a unique experience that's worth exploring. *Crafted Cocktails and Sports Watching:* The standout feature of Brotherhood and Pursuits lies in its well-crafted cocktails that, while a bit on the expensive side, deliver a delightful drinking experience. This, coupled with the establishment's provision of a fantastic platform for sports viewing, attracts both sports enthusiasts and those seeking a unique, intimate bar setting. *Crammed Atmosphere and Intimate Size:* The charm of this venue is accentuated by its smaller size, which creates a somewhat crammed yet cozy atmosphere. While the limited space might deter some, it adds to the establishment's appeal, offering a sense of intimacy and camaraderie among patrons. The hustle and bustle contribute to a lively ambiance, ideal for sports events and socializing. **Recommendations and Overview:** Brotherhood and Pursuits, despite its higher pricing, stands out as a unique sports bar that caters to those seeking a more intimate and cozy setting. The carefully crafted cocktails and the opportunity to catch sporting events in a welcoming environment make it a go-to spot for sports enthusiasts or anyone desiring a different drinking experience. The bar's small size may not be for everyone, but it certainly adds a distinct charm, providing a more closely-knit atmosphere that fosters interaction and an immersive sports-watching experience. For those seeking a break from larger, more bustling sports bars, Brotherhood and Pursuits offers a distinctive and more personal option in the heart of Manchester.

Great place, lots of screens, good bar staff and the drinks options were good. The library was upstairs and wasn’t really available for quieter pint. I would struggle to be here if I wasn’t able bodied but for me it was fine. They have a promotion on that states that there is £1 off pints after the game, apparently not after this game…. I don’t mind paying the extra but a little notice is better than none. I would go again. ⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️

I called to make a reservation & although they were clearly busy, they were polite & accommodating - Rebecca was amazing in looking after us with a member of our party being 'disabled' When we arrived the staff were attentive, helpful with a 'couldn't do more to help' attitude which made the trip into town all the more enjoyable. i work in hospitality, i see the downfalls of busy venues & if anything im all the more sensitive to good/poor experience. Brotherhood have a brilliant team in place which they should look after at all costs. Sports bar 10/10

Have tried to book a table for sport events multiple times via the phone, tired of not being answered. The website booking system doesn't really work well, you can request a table and if you're lucky you'll get a confirmation, otherwise you can say too bad to whatever plans you had. Need to get sorted out on this front.

Chicken wings! 🙂 This is the reason why I write this review, however I should have written it much much earlier. I visit Brotherhood regurarly since 2018 till today and I had never reason to complains. I love this place, the atmosphere, sports streamed till very late hours, darts, pool, fair price for drinks. If you have not been there yet - you got to go! 🏆

Love this place, always great atmosphere, beer is great and the food is nice! The only thing that urgently needs to change is downstairs toilets. They are pretty grim, never working, no locks on doors, toilet role etc. Doesn't look like they ever get cleaned and have been that way for a long time!

We were looking for a place for a quick drink after walking round Manchester for a few hours. We had seen the Brotherhood when passing a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a go. What a great decision! A fabulous place excellent drinks, brilliant staff and live music. We stayed a lot longer than we had intended. Thanks for a great night.

Flew out from Belfast for the Man U match. Came down here to watch the rangers Celtic in the afternoon and loved it. Music playing and as soon as the game starts it’s off and match volume is on. All the staff are super friendly, great guiness, bangin wings and comfortable seating. Great pub with 5 huge tvs. Come down to the Brother Hood for a pint 🤙🏻

I really dislike giving bad reviews but after broadcasting they are playing all the premier league games they found us a TV downstairs which was great then they changed the game over after 20 minutes and said they’re having technical difficulties and they will try and sort it. After another 20 minutes of missing the game we went over and they said sorry there’s nothing they can do. Just extremely frustrating that they broadcasting they are playing all the games, played 20 minutes of it and then changed it over to another game. Would of rather they just didn’t broadcast it or when they realised they couldn’t do anything they should of informed us rather than us waiting and missing the game.

Great sports bar - lots of screens, pool tables downstairs. Good cocktail menu, nice range of beers. But best of all - 50p chicken wings!

Great space to hang with mates. Lots of games to play ranging from board games, beer pong, table tennis, pool, etc. Good beer which is important for my husband and cocktails for me👌 it's a clean establishment and promotes acceptance throughout Thier downstairs decor via witty "brotherhood rules". This place had a tv in every part of the establishment! So its perfect for the avid sports fan. However the interior design of the place is tastefully done so you don't feel like you're in a typical sports bar. Loved my time there on a date night with my husband and look forward to a night out with friends or colleagues😁

Stumbled across this wee gem while walking around Manchester on a weekend away from Scotland. We were given such a warm welcome from all the bar staff. We came here every single day for drinks. Amazing atmosphere with plenty of screens showing all different kinds of sports and some of the most friendly bar staff I’ve ever came across. Drinks were very well priced and even though we didn’t sample any food it looked absolutely delicious and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be our first stop when we come back to Manchester, will need to try the game room next time as well.
