Was staying at the Premier Inn next door, so had booked breakfast here for my stay. Food is a bit average for the price - vegan sausage is good, baked beans quite bland and have had better hash browns. Inconsistent offerings - they advertise muffins, but this was only available on 1 day out of 3. Staff wait a long time before clearing out tables. A bit dated interior. Could do with a deep clean and revamp.

We only stayed for breakfast as we were staying at the Premier Inn next door. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice and the staff were lovely and helpful. The inside of the premises were clean and tidy. However the terrace outside which you needed to walk through to get into the restaurant was really scruffy and strewn with litter and if we hadn't already booked it would have put us off going in. It looked unkempt and unclean. It needs sorting out. Inside was a different story and much better.

Breakfast is only unlimited if you’re lucky enough to get the staff to serve you more than once… Went here on the morning of Fathers Day: after ordering breakfast from the (assumed) manager - who had a less than impressed look when taking an order for myself, husband and three children, I can say it was served with not too much of a wait. Food was mediocre but the glasses had an awful smell (which I think is down to the dishwasher water not being changed regularly) - so much so we declined to finish our drinks. After eating, our empty crockery remained on the table for at least 30 minutes; I eventually got up to ask a waitress to collect. She was polite enough to do so, but proceeded to not return to take the empty mugs and glasses. After notifying another (extremely rude waitress - who the manager later informed me was named Roz), I was loudly snapped at and told “there is only so much we can do” to which I replied “you shouldn’t have overbooked”, she proceeded to storm over to the bar where she loudly slammed our mugs and glasses on to the counter - at which point I locked eyes with the table next to us who shook their heads in disbelief. Stupidly, rather than paying up and leaving at this point, I got up (again!) to track down another member of staff (happened to be the manager) and asked if possible we could order some more food. Again served pretty swiftly, but by this point we was really over the whole experience that we quickly ate so we could leave ASAP. Paid the bill with the manager whilst expressing my frustration - to which I got a measly “I’m sorry you felt that way”. I can honestly say that in the 6 years we have been going to Quayside Beefeater, we have never experienced anything like this. Unsure I will return again in a hurry.

Not only were The waitress/waiters extremely efficient, but the drinks were brought to us within 5 minutes of walking in, and two steaks arrived only 10 minutes after that! All the food tasted brilliant too, especially the desserts. Would highly recommend going around 5:30-6:30 for a great experience!

We were going to Paris that evening and stopped off before for a lovely post birthday meal, service was great and the food was amazing, the barman down stairs old guy, made us feel uneasy when we arrived, but the young girl and lad who served us awesome. Highly recommend, will return again. Thankyou

We were directed to go " next door" to the Beefeater for our breakfast which was served up the (many) stairs, no lift but dining area very pleasant with view across the river Breakfast self service for fresh fruit salad croissants cereals yoghurt fresh fruit etc plus tea coffee and orange juice. There was table service for cooked breakfast, to order -- all very good and service excellent + well set up for the day ahead !!

So right from the start I wanna say that this wasn't terrible, it just wasn't like other beefeater locations. Service was fine though we were able to order a starter that wasn't available, the first we knew about this was when the mains came. Communication was a fail here. The food wasn't the best, myself and partner had different meals but both were small portions compared to other locations. Quality was okay. The building here is a bit dated. The venue requires some effort. Final comment... the person serving tables their meals was sacrificing service for speed and it was noticed by ourselves and other tables around us.

Lovely food. Veg wasn't very warm but great meat . The slightly older waitress was excellent. She is good when we have been for breakfast as well.

Went in ordered and had to wait 1hr and 20 minutes for a starter that came wrong. We left half an hour later because are mains we're not coming out. I would not recommend it if you want to eat. The view was very nice. Didn't stay in a room

The food here was terrible. My friend and I had a bowl of soup each which looked and tasted like ketchup on a ridiculously pale bun. It was also very small, literally 3 tablespoons of soup for £6.50. We ordered some regular and sweet potato fries too. Didn't even finish them. We weren't offered any sauces to go with the fries either. We got some eventually after chasing a waitress around the room. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The service was very good and the staff were extremely friendly The food not as good as other beefeaters but the staff were great and gave free desert in place of items etc. Overall the experience was good but perhaps wouldn't go again unless staying in the premier inn.

Restaurant, I cannot fault! Every member of staff are very friendly and helpful and are able to accommodate extra requests (we had our son join us for breakfast). Food was delicious and perfect portion size. However, the bar area was a total let down. The first night the sole barman rang last orders before 10.30pm. On the 2nd night, a Saturday, after spending all day shopping and visiting the Christmas markets we were greeted at the bar by being told "we've rang last orders so this will be your last drink"! This was, again, before 10.30pm! We felt, both nights as though we were keeping them from something more important! By 10.45pm all the beer valves had been removed and were being soaked, the tills had been cashed up and those of us in the bar were left unhappy! My husband and I are in the industry and we're absolutely baffled and appalled! Unacceptable!

With this below average level of food and service, it won't last long with places like 11Central opening in Salford Quays. Not only was this the worst roast I've ever paid for (small portions, poor cuts of meat, overcooked veg), the customer service was abysmal. Eva, if this isn't the job for you, leave and let someone else have a crack. Eva clearly did not want to be there; didn't say hello, made no eye contact when speaking, no apology for food not available, didn't check if food was okay, didn't bring the bill when asked (we waited ten minutes then had to stand at the bar in our coats), didn't apply a discount code we'd asked for. Eva was clearly not having a good night, but when working in customer service it's all about fake it until you make it. If you're looking for a place with good service, tasty food and decent beer, go to 11Central, Kargo, CraftBrew, Lime bar - literally anywhere but here.

Love expensive food. Took ages for our order to be taken even thit wasn't busy. Lovely staff, just too long a wait. Nice decorating inside, lovely location.

Visited for evening meal and breakfast on Premier Inn Meal Deal, very good value. Conveniently located next door to hotel, overlooking the canal offering peaceful views. Excellent efficient service by friendly, helpful staff and good quality selection of meals to suit all tastes. Lift as well as stairs up to the restaurant. Toilets available also on same floor. Mixture of self service as well as served to your table breakfast. Hysterical toaster, be ready to put your bread through 4 times to get it toasted properly on both sides! Can simply have a drink at the downstairs bar. Can readily recommend.

First time visiting a beefeater restaurant solely whilst away for business, However the service received from the staff was amazing, The food was really good quality, I had a slight wait for the main but once it arrived it was of really good standard, I'd recommend this beefeater if you're in or around Salford.

This place has a nice view of the canal. Slightly more expensive than usual. Nice selection of beers, especially Moretti and Peroni. The burger and chips was nice. Didn't have dessert.

Gammon and chips with peas was good: thick, moist gammon & hot, crispy chips. But they didn't have the red wine I wanted off the menu (Cabernet Sauvignon) and the one I chose (Rioja) wasn't too good.

An oasis of calm when visiting Old Trafford. Unfortunately there wasn't any draft cider and the Guinness was off but a good selection of bottles and draft lager. Service was efficient and friendly, and the food was good, not amazing but nothing wrong with it either.

Ordered 8oz rump and 10oz rib eye. Rib eye was perfect and tasted great. Rump was supposed to be medium but came out just about rare. A beefeater should be getting steak right, surely? Service prompt and friendly throughout

Meals were so bad we ended up with a full refund. Won't be going back. Long wait because they over cooked the Salmon. Rice looked like it was one of those flavoured ones out of a packet. Got the salad wrong and had to wait for it to be done again. There was hardly anyone in, so, they didnt even have that excuse.Very poor!!

The Beefeater food was lovely, booked a meal deal through Premiere Inn next door. Jack was extremely helpful and is a credit to Beefeater. I hope management praise him for his dedication to his job.

A good place to eat before the match at Old Trafford. Food was good and staff were friendly but very busy, notable not enough staff to clear tables. The venue is 20 minutes walk from the ground.

Nice pleasant staff, breakfast tasty. Shame the price at pay was more than advertised, it might only be 49p per meal, but why have old menus to view at every table but charge more? We did query it and the waitress said they were awaiting new menus later in the day and she'd have to get rid of all the old ones.

Went here for Easter Sunday and what can I say, the service was amazing. The lady informed us that they were slightly understaffed and they still were amazing. The kids deals were great value and so where the unlimited drinks. Lovely place 10/10 to go with the family.

So my wife wanted to have a rack of ribs on the bank holiday evening and I took her to Beefeater Quay House. First impression: dirty environment, dirty tables with crumbs and oil, and an oil smeared menu booklet, apparently from previous diners. I literally cleaned our table by myself! Then came the waitress to take our orders with a straight face that made my wife uncomfortable. We ordered 2x J20 drinks and the same waitress brought the opened bottles and glasses holding the glasses on her body! Terrible! The cups were smelling too but I kept convincing myself that surely they must have washed them. Then finally came the food. I can't complain too much about mine but my wife struggled to eat the full rack of ribs she ordered because it was dry and tasted a but undone. She ended up eating some of mine so I could help her eat part of the ribs. Overall a 1-star rating should flatter them tbh. I guess the only positive thing is that you get 3 hours of free parking (though it's just £2.5 savings). Awful restaurant!

The location of the beefeater is lovely however we walked in and were told to help ourselves to menus which was fine until we saw how grubby and sticky the menus were, we got to the table and the chairs were extremely stained and dirty as was the table The table opposite, 1 of the chairs bottoms was hanging down and was the same level of dirty We walked straight out of the place. If the furniture and menus were that disgusting, i didn't want to find out when the cutlery, plates, and glasses were like We stayed at the Premier Inn next door, and our breakfast was booked with the room, but upon seeing the restaurant, we went to hotel reception and cancelled our breakfast completely The location is lovely, the view is stunning and the bar staff was friendly enough

We went for a meal the mixed grill was very tasty, my husband got a steak, we enjoyed our food the sirloin Steak was tender and juicy cooked medium rare. The waitress gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. We will be going back in the new year.
