Definitely one of Manchesters hidden gems, awesome food and atmosphere. The Chef Dane is an absolute miracle worker.... every plate was amazing, full of flavours and stunning presentation too, the best Jamon croquetas i've ever had. Great wine paring from "The Boss" and the Porcino liquore was the best way to end a meal. see you all again soon

I came across The Molly House as one of the best pubs according to CAMRA and the praise was more that deserved. It's a small tapas bar with a relaxed atmosphere and great jazz / lounge music parallel to Canal Street. Its dim lightning, wooden interior and cozy ambience makes it a small jewel in the colorful and chaotic vibe of Manchester gay area. It has less that 10 tables, an open kitchen and a good selection of beers on tap. Food was exquisite. I was fortunate to find a seat since I hadn't reserved in advance. Definitely check in out if you're in the area.

Fist came here just after it opened a good few years ago. Set on three levels with bar on ground floor plus kitchen and second bar and lounge on floor above. Toilets on top floor. (All access toilet on lower floor.) Very good real ale selection. Think Red Willow usually on. Always liked the food.

I've not lived in Manchester long, but this is already my favourite pub. Everyone who works there is really nice, you feel welcome in a cosy & pleasant environment. Good local ales with good variety.

Today I stepped off the street into this unassuming pub to be greeted by a warm welcome and served amazing tapas. Genuinely a gem in the village. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful welcome and the tastiest tapas I have ever eaten ❤️🎉

Fab! Been I'm many times for drinks before and it's always a warm and chilled atmosphere. Last weekend the other half's family was in town and we wanted to take them somewhere nice and friendly in the village. We ordered at least one of each item on the menu and it was beautiful. The tapas was by far the best I'd had in a very long time and the the whole team was lovely. Big thanks to T(h)om for looking after us all. 😊

My favourite place in Manchester for craft beer in a cosy atmosphere. The bartender is really knowledgeable and friendly too, and gave me a quick education in all the local beers they have.

LGBTQ+ friendly pub with delicious tapas, beer, wine, and excellent selection of tea and soft drinks Very convenient to and part of the Gay Village, but with more of a laid-back conversational atmosphere, although it also can get quite busy and buzzy. Very welcoming, inclusive for the “BTQ+” part of the community and allies as well. And omg the tapas - SO YUMMY! Great that they have such a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages as well.

Have been coming here for years and always have a good experience. Usually less in the week which is nice for a quiet drink, and a good atmosphere on weekends when it's busier. Over two floors with a bar on both which is great, and a little terrace on the first floor too. Always some good ales on tap and a good gin selection. I've eaten the tapas here on a few occasions too and always really enjoyed it.

Good Manchester pub about 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a stout. There are two bars, one on the ground floor and another up the stairs on the first floor.

Booked a table for 3 for an evening meal. Arrived and found that we were expected to sit at a tiny round brass coffee table on low backless wooden stools in the middle of the room near to the doorway. Not my idea of an evening dinner so we said no thanks and left.

Excellent decor and service. Really great ranged of drinks. The Stout has changed as well since last month which was nice to try a new one.

Haven't had the tapas (yet!) but I really like The Molly House. At the heart of the Village, it's got a great selection of cask beer and spirits, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Incredible food. Homey atmosphere. Good selection of beer and wine. Pistachio pastry and the kofta's are flavourful and memorable. This is a hidden gem.

Quiet little friendly bar tucked away down a side street off Sackville Street. A good selection of drinks and tapas food. Wooden tables with table lamps. Would recommend for a quiet drink.

This is such a lovely place to hang out. Great selection of drinks. Many thanks to Hannah for cheering me up on a tough Sunday night!

Really a place for couples or groups. It has an 'insular' yet pleasant atmosphere but, to be honest, I only frequent Molly House when arranging to meet friends to go on to another venue. This is NOT intended as a bad reflection on the staff, they're great, but the location is totally off the beaten track. I MUST say that, if one DOES find it, The Molly House is very pleasant. Far preferable to the terrible gin bar next to the obsolete taxi company opposite.

Booked last minute and were unsure what to expect. Expectations weren't high when walking down a narrow back alley to get to what looks like an old boozer, but lesson learned - never judge a book by its cover as they say. Friendly, small and cosy, with just a handful of tables downstairs (there's an upstairs and verandah but we didn't look), we had the tapas to share and were blown away - it was simply delicious.. cooked right in front of you in the open kitchen by one chef. Definitely recommended.

Had all the veggie tapas on the menu plus some smaller sides dishes to share. The food quality and taste was excellent. Great service and a good pint. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. We will be back next time we are in Manchester.

I visited on 17/05 with eight other friends to enjoy the Tapas selection- an outstanding experience, first-rate quality food and service. All of us were really looked-after and very happily full at the end of the night, an absolute must, and I strongly recommend you get booking! 👍🏻👏🏻

We popped in for a drink and some tapas. We just wanted a light meal so just got 4 dishes and a side to share between two of us, which was just right for what we wanted. All of the dishes we got were really good, particularly the mushroom croquettes were amazing. Nice vibe and friendly staff.

Wonderful pub - lots of lovely cask ales and kegs, ciders, spirits and wines. Nice tapas too but I usually go for a pint. Staff are really great and it's a nice vibe too. Food available downstairs or a lovely pub room upstairs. Check it out - it's great.

Absolutely loved our trip here - about 15 of us descended and the host rearranged for us, we ordered plates and plates and plates of delicious tapas and it was all great. Strong recommend to stop here! Didn't take any photos sadly. Thanks also to the people who let us pet their dog.

Excellent tapas, friendly service and a great variety of beers, ales, wines & more! A true hidden gem right in the centre of Manchester’s gay village!

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, very nice staff. We went there yesterday for a drink in the upstairs bar. Very pleasant and full but you could still hear what someone was saying to you. Today we are tapas downstairs, it was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic evening spent. Was able to accommodate my wife and I at short notice and staff were very friendly. The tapas was fantastic, reasonably priced and went very well with our equally reasonably priced drink. Decor was also right up our street. Would definitely return

Fine place to have drinks and meet with friends. Like the selections of drinks and cocktails. Polite bartenders. It was not crazy crowded and loud when we went there on a Saturday. Recommended

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
