Nice modern bar in central Manchester from cloud water brewery. I’ve not tried all their ale but I’d recommend the ones I’ve had for sure. Always a good pint. The bar is basic with table seating. Large bar serving a wide range of the breweries ale. They sell cold bottles and cans. Also sells Merchandise. Recommended for a very nice pint 🍻 🐱

Nipped in for a quick pint before our train and what a great decision! Large selection of beers and friendly staff. Wish could of stayed longer to try some of the other beers so will definitely be back.

20/01/24: Cloudwater Blackberry & Cherry Fruited Sour 4.5%, Cloudwater Midwinter Stout 5% and Cloudwater Brown Ale 5% 31/08/23: Cloudwater Brewery: Happy Pale ale 3.5%. Ironic, I was Bob Ross painting on TV today and he was always Happy 🖌️🎨👨‍🎨 29/10/22: formerly The Pilcrow, now The Sadler's Cat, situated in Sadler's Yard, very close to Victoria Station and Shudehill Metro stop. A contemporary community pub at the heart of the NOMA neighbourhood. Overlooking Sadler’s Yard, it boasts one of the best beer gardens in the city, providing a calm, welcoming space where you can kick back and relax while enjoying a selection of top-class beer from Cloudwater Brewery and friends.

Didn't really stay that long but the place looked pleasant enough and appealing enough for me to come again someday. When I visited the sun was out making it a really welcoming place. Just had one beer but will be back to try the many others they have.

Nice little bar now owned (more) by Cloudwater, so primarily has their beers on, mainly keg and a couple of cask, which is definitely not a bad thing and usually has a few interesting other ones on.

Visited for the Trillium tap takeover as part of the Friends and family and beer fringe event. It looks a bit odd to be honest, kind of temporary...but also like it should be on a beach in Cornwall. However the beer range is superb with some awesome craft beers and a solid cask line up too. Google maps make it look like a bit of a trek, however it's literally around the corner from the Arndale shopping centre. The general location, the open aspect and outdoor seating would make this a must visit during the summer.

Really great. Apparently it's part owned by cloudwater now so it has a lot of their drinks which is great. I decided to treat me and my friends to one of the bottles when we were there and it didn't disappoint. Only annoying thing is you get absolutely no phone signal in there which was a bit of a hassle, kept having to go outside to check my phone as I was trying to review the drinks on untapped! Will definitely be back though.

Excellent Craft Ale taproom, close to Victoria Station and Manchester arena. Busy on a Saturday evening, although not rammed, so we were able to get a seat. Nice selection of Cloudwater beers. Tried Fuzzy and Happy, which were tasty and easily quaffable.

Cracking pub in town owned & run by Cloudwater! Loads of taps & also fridges of cans. Big outside area as well as a communal outside area open to the 'public'. Plenty of places to sit. The usual excellent Cloudwater beer!!

The craftsmanship that went into building this pop up pub is absolutely stunning- no wonder it’s out stayed the original intention. Add Cloudwater beers and you’ve got the formidable combination. Seek it out - you will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous place. We enjoyed a sunny Sunday afternoon pint outside here, and then the heavens opened and we enjoyed a lovely pint inside. All the beer is by Cloudwater Brewery, with a good mix of casks (x3) and kegs (x10-15), the staff are really friendly and it's a really nice atmosphere. I think sometimes they do food but worth checking ahead. It's part of a courtyard shared with the likes of New Century, and it's just really nice. Gorgeous venue that's to be enjoyed in Manchester.

This place is an excellent Cloudwater taproom. Great selection which is perfect for a Cloudwater fan! Nice atmosphere as feels slightly off the beaten track which makes it a bit of a hidden gem! Scampi and bacon fries go down well too.

A modern bar run by the Cloudwater Brewery. A fantastic selection of modern craft ales both Cask and Keg. Food is available at the weekends on a "pop up basis". Had the Centennial Pale, a fantastic refreshing pint on a very hot evening, so good I had to have a second one. Ample seating outside for the summer in the quiet Sadlers Yard.

Good range of beers, and all online ordering and table service with the current social distancing regulations.

Great bar that sits a little out of the way in the city. Being ran by Cloudwater you can expect some top beers as well as other guest ales. Great outdoor space that really hits the sun just after lunch time. Only issue is I would like to see the outsiders seating be non smoking like lots of other craft places are now doing. 👍🏻

Cloudwater bar with ski lodge vibes. Drink 2/3 so you can try more beers. Defo worth a few hrs of your time. There was a soul DJ there on Sat night spinning some great tunes, but still at a volume for a good chat.

A nice pub, first time we visited it, the staff are really friendly and there's a great selection of interesting beers (do try the Happy). Prices are very reasonable for a city centre pub. We drank inside so didn't experience the outside area which is covered and heated, it looked good though, maybe next time when it's a bit warmer!

Didn't try the food, but they have a great selection of beers and the service was good too. In fact we went back 3 times on Saturday after trying other places nearby.

Lively atmosphere early Saturday evening, but not rowdy. Definite apres ski vibe with all the wood. Had half a bitter which tasted great. Nice that they don’t just do pale ales!

This bar / pub is located right in the center of the Co-op / NOMA buildings in Manchester, with fantastic architecture nearby and very nostalgic for many Mancunians. Did not eat any food so have not rated that but from the last I remember there was an associated taco stand which was very popular. Beer is great as you would expect from a Cloudwater breweries pub with a varied selection to cater to all tastes. Beer prices are about average for a modern pub / bar in the city center. The staff are always friendly and service is quick and with a smile. Outside seating is available and in the summer there are often events and live music in the square that the bar faces in to

Lovely strange bar. Looks odd and temporary from the outside but is warm and homely once you enter with a brilliant range of beer. Two BA Imperial Stouts plus a load of cool sours and DIPAs is a recipe for success.

Really good pub in central Manchester. Friendly, helpful staff. Best of all was the great selection of their own beer at really reasonable prices. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Resent drinks. Could have a better selection of ciders on tap and also more Rosé but other than that. They have a nice atmosphere and drinks are not too expensive

A great chill and comfortable bar hidden away between buildings close to Manchester Vic. Extensive selection of IPA (and DIPA/TIPA) style beers. Keg heavy, but they do run a couple of cask lines.

A nice little spot for a craft beer. When the suns out the tables outside are brilliant and I love there there’s a taco shack.

Great selection of beers at a good price and friendly staff. Only gripe is I wish they'd rotate beer a bit more. Feel I've been drinking the same pint for a while there...

interesting selection of drinks, went with a red apple cider and it was very nice. would definitely come again closer to the summer, a nice spot 👍

Nice community pub near Victoria station. It's small and cosy inside and has a few different drinks options. Not massive inside so finding a table/seating for a large group may be difficult, but if you're coming in a small group then it's a good venue.

I didn't see any cats. But this didn't detract from the overall experience. In fact, between me and you it enhanced it, as I'm not a huge fan of cats. A lovely selection of hipster drinks. Served in 1/3rd or 2/3rd glasses. If you're looking for a bargain pint of Carling this isn't the place for you. But if you're mad on a big selection of Cloudwater's finest then you will be in for a treat. Overall good vibes. Friendly staff and a nice venue.

I'd definitely recommend this place. It has a good beer selection, with top quality breweries like Gamma. It has a very cool modern Scandi design aesthetic. I go quite regularly for a quick drink if my train is delayed at Victoria.

  • 2/5 Tommy L. 4 years ago on Google
I feel bad giving such a low review as my visit here is probably extremely biased based on my cold Friday evening. When walking in the place was packed with little room to move around, you had to raise your voice a fair bit to have any chance of a conversation and the drink selection was also minimal. The staff were nice and maybe the summer experience would turn out better but I definitely won't be returning any time soon.

I'd say that all in all the place is pretty fire. Got some sound craft beers and right next to Victoria Station if you are waiting for a train. I'd recommend. Maybe the only thing is that the seating could be improved: I am not a fan of stools, like something to rest me back on. Do you know what I mean?

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel.
