Worst kept secret in Manchester. True. Amazing little spot,a great place to have a relaxing drink and have a quick bite. I loved the happy hour special free pizza with your pint and the pizza tasted great.

After all the hype, I was a little underwhelmed. 1970s retro cave with a few tables, jukebox and a pinball machine. Drinks, well, there are better choices elsewhere, and the prices average to high. A regular tells me the prices rise at popular times; although I didn’t see any bar notifications about that. Two real ales, plus Heineken / Amstel larger, a few bottled beers. And no clear wine lists about to make a comment!

Superb bar located underground. Selling beers wines spirits etc. Still got its jukebox which accepts money ! Great bar to get away from it all. Definitely recommended , Fabulous bar

Beautiful rustic atmosphere, with intimate dining and comforting pizza. Classic cocktails done well and a great selection of beer and wine. Will be back.

Really nice bar, it's underground (literally) and has a funky old school juke box, we had a great time, it's a tad expensive but it's central Manchester so not unusual, will definitely be going back 👍

A good place to enjoy drinks with friends. Music from the Jukebox can be a little loud making chatting a bit difficult but great for dancing!

We met Mancunian friends here on the basis that it was the undiscovered Manchester. If you want to step back into the 80's and see what bars were like, then this is your place. Dark, depressing, no decor, no furniture.. with only a jukebox to save the day.

Great deal - for each alcoholic drink comes with a good size pizza with several options to choose from! Good music and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and polite, even if we waited half an hour for the pizza, it was worth it!

Brilliant atmosphere free and free pizza with every alcoholic drink ordered between 4-7pm pizza was ok, but did have to wait because it was so busy. First time here will be back.

10/10 visit. pint and a free pizza deal was unreal! was made to feel so welcome. chef came out to ask about my dietary restrictions and make sure i got something i was happy with. venue was so cool and unique. couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Went to find this hidden gem of a bar. It ws on a Saturday night, Manchester markets in full flow everywhere packed. Found the bar down an alley. The steps down are steep and narrow. The bar it's self is like a cave Nd was packed. Beer prices not to bad and quick service. Will have to go back when. It's a bit quieter.

This bar is a time warp. We came when it first opened back in about 1980 and it has not changed. Lots of artex giving it a "cave" feel. Cellar bar of St Anne's square. Albrecht ordered the one real ale, Wainwright. It was fine.

Went there for the free pizza with a pint deal. Honestly the pizza quality was much better than expected. I had the pepperoni, Decent little pie with a good range and a pint for about £5. Get there nice and early to guarantee yourself a mid-afternoon/ early evening snack or dinner with a pint

A great little underground bar we discovered after the football in Manchester. Great atmosphere with excellent music and drinks selection!! Definitely somewhere we will be returning.

Very pleasant and more low-key bar with a really nice atmosphere and customer service. They have a deal with drinks over 5£ that get you a decent sized pizza. There are also vegan options available.

Great experience. Staff let me listen to my juke box selection even tho it was near last orders. Would have gone in earlier but the rubbish bins put us off !

Visited after not venturing inside since the late 80s early 90s. Full on nostalgia trip. The place was totally alive. The buzz from the clientele was infectious. Customers across all age ranges at times singing at the top of their voices as the juke box played out all the top anthems. Will be back very soon.

Not many people know about this little gem, full of character, been there for decades. I had my first pint there nearly 37 years ago. Little bit expensive.

It was across between 1970s and Ibiza it was a great venue. Will be exploring again

Always a great bar that I've been going to regularly since the first when I was 22years old! +30years later and it's still just as fun. Where else can you meet the groom and his father to be having a dance to 1970's punk music. The cavelike interior of this basement bar is an original and never to be matched. Admittedly the enentrance looks like nothing and has lots of beer barrels making the doors unmissable but once you've clambered down the steps the music hits you. One of the best juke boxes for unforgettable tunes, including the Manc settings of the 80's. Visit this place and enjoy.

Excellent service with a smile and staff run off their feet. Music via Duke box fab. No security present till later very discrete and atmosphere is amazing. We had a great night.

Hugely overrated but somehow extremely popular. Underground so no signal, pricey, loud, and sometimes smelly. They pour a great Guinness though.

Great bar. Got some nice beers on and a wicked Duke box. What's not to like?
