One of the best traditional pubs left in the town centre. Excellent bar staff & friendly customers. Comfortable seating areas upstairs & below I would definitely recommend a visit to have a pint or two.

28/09/22: been here many times. Never fails to impress. Cheap, cheerful, great selection of craft ales! Pork scratchings to die for 🙄

If I lived in Manchester I would immediately make this my local. I rarely walk into a place and immediately feel at home. Like a TARDIS it's somehow bigger on the inside and really welcoming even to tourists despite clearly being a community pub. Highly recommended.

One of the hidden treasures of Manchester. A stunning pub with a decent selection of beers, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. That day I tried the Cross Bay - Zenith. A lovely IPA full of flavour.

Proper local pub in the middle of Manchester, great pint of Guinness and not many other pubs in the area you can play darts, eat scampi fries and fire up the jukebox. Great experience away from the pretentiousness of the chain bars on the main streets.

Great selections, and good prices. It's a cozy pub but they offer plastics to drink outside.

Lovely looking old pub. Unfortunately the staff that we came across were very rude and unhelpful. They spoilt our evening, definitely wouldn’t return!

The bar staff here are always kind and helpful. I come in here as I much prefer it to the busy wetherspoons round the corner. Downstairs seating is louder and more vibrant and upstairs there is usually not that many people and they are all having a quiet chat. I really appreciate a pub like this.

Lovely homely wee pub with good choice of ales and decently priced pub grub. Staff were lovely and chatty. The malt and gin cellar bar tops it off. Worth a visit.

Very small pub, would say the interior is quite run down but I think it works well. Staff always lovely

Excellent pub. Really reasonably priced for Manchester. £4.50 for a cask, of which there was a great selection of well kept beers. Nice traditional interior with classic decor and comfortable seating.

Good old fashioned pub. Lots of the original features in there. Decent price for a drink in town. Staff and punters are nice great spot for after work drinks on a sunny day.

There for a works leaving do. The staff did a great job with a very full bar and not much room. Great little place.

Proper old school watering hole. Probably needs some new carpets! But it does decent beer and is a proper old pub right in the heart of Manchester and the service is sound. It's also got loads of tables up and down stairs and darts

It was nice and polite. Drinks were brought to your table which was a nice touch. The only thing that bothered me were the steps. But steps always bother me.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
