We had 10 people on our table to come in. All of us ordered on the app individually. It was very quiet Sunday lunch, not many people around. The food was terrible. Most of the food had obviously been cooked and just kept hot for hours waiting for someone to order it. My ‘mash potato’ was harder than a rock, and when asked for another the second was only marginally better but the bottom was still rock hard. The chilli sauce on most of my friends dishes were far too spicy even for the ones that liked spice, and when told about this there was no offer of replacement given by the staff, even though the 4 out of 10 that got the sauce said it was different to other spoons and it was definitely more spicy. 1 of the staff was very nice, the rest looked like they hated being there. Not good.

Cold food even though the place was empty and also told we didn't order tea even though we had the order on the phone to show them. Shocking attitude from the manager who refused us the footage of us that he recorded. ... He seemed fixed on the missing tea when the complaint was about the freezing cold food. In fact the little pod of butter was warmer than my breakfast. Avoid.

Fabulous place to eat, food was good/hot/tasty. As usual Wetherspoons doesn't disappoint in their menu and prices.

Decent atmosphere with cute little booths upstairs. it's a typical spoons with quick table service via their app. The food is decent enough - about what you'd expect of similar establishments. Unfortunately they don't allow sportswear so make sure you wear appropriate clothes before heading here.

Bit slow at bringing drinks to the table. But food was as fast as it is in other wetherspoons I've visited

Toilet attendant got weirdly angry that I wouldn’t give him any money for the massive task of handing me a piece of tissue paper. I think I’m capable of drying my hands on my own and don’t need to pay money for it. None of the toilets had paper in either

Spoons conveniently located in Printworks. Busy on a Saturday night, although we were able to find a free table upstairs. Ordered at upstairs bar, as there was no queue, although it still took a few minutes to be served. Would come back again when it's quieter mid-week.

Not the finest wetherspoon but decent enough. Food and drink served quickly. Quality pretty good. Server could have smiled a bit more. Tables felt a little close together but still an enjoyable meal.

Cheap food but at a fair quality. There is a large selection of different types of food to chose between. The drinks menu is also quite large. It’s easy to order though their app.

Nice food, as usual in weatherapoon, but the interior is very noisy and not suitable for having intimacy. The exterior however is beautiful but there are no heaters so not convenient for winter

A hidden spot near Arndale shopping center to wait for friends or kill time. Beers (pale ale) are lot cheaper than pubs around. starts from £2.x per pint Good spot !

Buzzin during my visit on Armistice Day. No problem to try before I bought. Not too many ales, but the ones I tried were in good condition. Not many seats available on my visit, probably due to the local team playing.

Had breakfast here several times and the quality of the food is very low. Over done toast, overcooked oily hash browns, under tomatoes and oily undercooked mushrooms and over cooked sausages. Also on last visit one of the two coffee machines needed a service was only dispensing coffee out of a single stream rather than two and the coffee was full of bubbles. Would not recommend breakfast here. Paramount cooks breakfast better.

Decent Wetherspoons in the City Centre although there are better. The venue is unique in how it's built but wasn't cleaned very well. Food was standard, service was good though. I might change my review if I visit again.

Manger said I can’t charge my Mobility Scooter whilst having a coffee and doing a bit of work, would have stayed for lunch only I will go somewhere that is more disabled friendly. Apart from this the staff are lovely and I do usually come a lot.

Very nice place. We love going to Wetherspoon whenever we are in the UK as the food and drinks are cheap and the portions are great for the price. We ate there several times including for breakfast. Love that they offer many vegan options and that they have oat milk available for your coffee / tea. This Wetherspoon was quite crowded because of rugby games but overall was great.

I've always loved this place; only today I had a minor interaction with a member of staff. A staff member cleared the drinks whilst I'd gone to the bathroom, but after a short discussion the incident was sorted without much discussion. The team efficiently provided the missing drinks. I am thankful of the team; they always provide a high quality of service that is demanded of them. Unlike other Witherspoon's establishments I've been in, the staff are incredibly understanding and keen to make sure their clientele are looked after.

Decent spoons - Eggs benedict fail! Hard eggs...all 3 spoons we went to in Manchester could not do runny eggs!

Dropped in on Halloween evening and full of fancy dressed people, music playing which was unusual for a spoons, but added to the atmosphere which was lively not like your normal spoons. Only had a drink, but our group enjoyed it in there. Great value drinks as ever but a lively atmosphere.

Went in here after the Bastille concert. What a great atmosphere, staff were brilliant. Loved the KISS fans that came in after their concert.

I have the chicken jalfrezi the Rice was tiny portion also cold and lumpy everything taste cheap and microwaved only think that was nice on the plate was the mango chutney and inside was cold

Ordered breakfast muffin and beans on toast. Both below standard temperature. Beans replaced and were cold again so got refund. Muffin was not warm but virtually edible. Coffee machine dispensed hot chocolate without chocolate, and then half a cup on 2nd attempt. Coffee was ok. But had to change cup as first time the machine went into cleaning mode and dispensed cleaner fluid into my cup. Building cold not inviting to stay. Overall wouldn't recommend this site. This is not normal wetherspoons Standard as I'm aware.

The food here is always decent and the drinks are very reasonably priced. I tried a pizza for the first time here and it was really good, I’ll definitely be getting it again soon.

No Stella, Punk, Coors, San Miguel. No breakfast menu and a reduced menu all in all a bad experience.......oh and one person serving at the bar on a Friday afternoon when the manager should know they're going to be busy!

It's a relatively good spoons this is, lots of seating over two floor, nice staff and classic spoons quality food. Is a bit pricier than ones out of the city center which is a bit annoying. Have to say loved my experience seeing some drunk bloke chuck the contents of his stomach up right onto the floor tho, classic Manchester

First of all I might remind readers that I haven't had a drink in 7 years and yet i still enjoy a good night out. Nice drinks and good prices but the staff made us leave because we were a big group. We were not causing trouble and the staff specifically stated the reason gor making us leave as being: "because we've only got one doorman on tonight ". This was the last Saturday before Christmas so it demonstrates a lack of foresight on their part!

A nice and affordable pub! Can’t go wrong with Wetherspoons. It was really rowdy when we were there, there was a group next to us who were being very loud and probably tipsy, so that marred our experience a little.

The seven stars is quieter than your usual pub but not because of a lack of clientele but more so to do with the general ambience of the place. What I love about the seven stars is the top notch service. They're menu is diverse as well and the pricing for the drinks and food are decent and fair. If your looking for an affordable and welcoming pun, I would recommend the seven stars at Printworks.

Great pub in the printworks. Good food choice of usual pub fare. Excellent choice of lagers, ales, wines and spirits. Seating is good. Disabled access is tight as is the entrance. Toilets are upstairs. Recommended.

It's a great pub, but because of location on a Friday/Saturday night you'll be hard pressed to find a table or seat. If your heart is set on drinking here you need to grab a table early. Unlike most spoons I think this one does play music later on in the evening.

  • 5/5 CHRIS M. 1 year ago on Google
Great music a multitude of ages and a great atmosphere, good prices for location. Packed but good rotation of patrons so not a long wait for a table. Plenty of space and dance floor at night time

  • 5/5 Kirsty B. 1 year ago on Google
Tables clean, plenty of staff available if you need assistance of any kind and food/drink served quickly after ordering on the app. Nice atmosphere as they had some music on too! Prices are decent for a city centre pub too. Will definitely be visiting again soon 😁

Oh dear... tables packed so tight you can't breathe. Unfortunately we arrived at a time where a group of people decided it was a good idea to throw ice cubes at people and constantly use foul language... however the pizza was as good as at any Italian for a fraction of the price. Spoons is spoons and guess you get what you pay for.

Spent a few hours here on a Saturday afternoon. A very crowded and popular pup at all times and luckily we got a table as at 53, I need to sit these days! We ordered through the app all the drinks and food and what surprised us is that the food came out before the drinks and they came fairly quickly as well. The staff were great and very pleasant.

Maybe a tad on the small side but actually a pretty nice scampi and chips. Had a leffe on tap. Busy on a Friday night but food came in 15 minutes. Very mixed crowd and lively atmosphere. Sounds like a club night upstairs!

Went for a birthday meal, it was very busy and noisy. Moved upstairs so we could find a better table. Food was average, if you want a drink you can get one with the meal but have to pay a little extra. 😏

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
