This is an amazing place to visit. It’s extremely busy so make sure you book well in advance. If you have kids then make sure you book well before 6. If you are in a large group and out for a night in Manchester then you certainly won’t regret going. Staff are absolutely amazing , food is amazing and the beer and drinks are amazing too . Atmosphere of this place was buzzing , even at 3pm in the afternoon, would love to have went without my son and seen the atmosphere in the evening. 100% somewhere you need to visit if you are in Manchester , a good starting point for a night out or even a afternoon meal out with the family .

Purely a review of the day time coffee drinking / pastry Schloss, which is obviously a very different beast from party night / weekend boozing Schloss, and I’ve always enjoyed it It’s a remarkable that the place has maintained such high a standard of bakery over the years, and in some respects is better now than ever Pastries are excellent, fun and show real skill. The pretzels are superb. Coffee is decent. The only minor let down is the service tends to be a bit disjointed - though it’s obviously a vast space and the communication tends to fall a way a little

Great selection of beers on tap. The place gets really busy so expect a wait at the bar at peak times. Amazing atmosphere, especially around the live entertainment after 20.00. Food looks ace, but we haven't tried ourselves. Friends say its very tasty. Highly recommended 👌

It's a great, relaxed atmosphere here. The food tastes good. The schweinshaxe has a slight taste of piggy and is a little overcooked. Everything felt great until it came to a screeching halt when the waitress was serving food to the next table. The waitress put a tray on my head just to serve food to the next table!! I suspect she was trying to get on top of me because the plate was so heavy. I feel disrespected and unvalued in this restaurant. And I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Absolutely incredible place - the food was phenomenal, cocktails were delicious and so reasonably priced! Our experience was made perfect by our stunning host, Teneia, who worked her butt off to ensure we had a good night. Lovely staff, fantastic food and top tier atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanted a night out with a twist!!!!!

We arrived at the restaurant for the reserved four-person table on Saturday evening. The place was bustling with people, mostly enjoying drinks and live music performances. The atmosphere was lively, though conversations between companions required shouting due to the noise. We ordered three main courses, including a Bavarian feast , three appetizers, and side dishes of vegetables and cheesy baked potatoes to complement the mains. The dishes were delicious, offering great value for money, and even with a large crowd, the service was attentive. The apple strudel dessert comes highly recommended. Overall, it's a restaurant worth trying.

NYE celebrations here, ticketed event included entrance, drink on arrival, canapes throughout the night and schnapps at the end. The atmosphere was electric, great energy from performers and entertainers. A very enjoyable night to end the year!

Albert's Schloss has quickly become one of my go-to spots for Sunday roasts. I've been here countless times and have never been disappointed by the food. The roast pork knuckle is always cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and juicy interior that leaves you wanting more each time. The atmosphere at Albert's Schloss is always lively and energetic, and the staff are friendly and attentive. All in all, I highly recommend Albert's Schloss for anyone looking for a top-notch Sunday roast.

What a place! Sunday night with live music. If you are looking for a quiet place better you change spot. That’s the best place where to eat, drink and love. Sunday roast is amazing but don’t be late otherwise you will miss the best one. Great environment and good service

We had such a lovely lunch here for my mum's birthday. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty, none of us had any complaints. I highly recommend the pork belly starter and the fish pie main. We booked to go back whilst we were still there

Not only was our service fantastic and attentive, the food was delicious. I took the pork belly to start and the cordon bleu for my main. The atmosphere was buzzing and live music was really good. Overall a great place with a party vibe. Very loud though, not suitable for dates! Highly recommend.

Went to Albert’s Schloss for dinner this evening and had a fabulous dinner, felt very authentic German/Bavarian cuisine and a great drinks menu. The staff were attentive, friendly and I couldn’t fault our server, who was really welcoming and kind. Will definitely return!

Great restaurant with atmosphere and good live music (which was perhaps a little loud at times, less than ideal to have to shout in order to hold a conversation over dinner). We had the 'Sunday service' roast which was fantastic. The service was fast and efficient from the friendly helpful staff.

Was recommended by a local on my visit to Manchester, and I was not disappointed. Tasty food, reasonably priced. Can get a bit noisy as it's a popular place, so I wouldn't go there for a quiet drink and chat.

Nice bar if you manage to get in. Went past on a Sunday evening and there was a queue of about 100 people waiting so went elsewhere but we were back the next day. Its a decent sized bar with a really good range of drinks and a good atmosphere. Cocktails were a little pricy but were very tasty. Didn't try food but there were some tasty looking options on the menu Edit: tried the food (Sunday roast chicken) on a recent visit and it was pretty good. Several items unavailable and a little pricy but overall enjoyed ourselves.

Had a great time, 'missed' breakfast despite arriving at 11:15? But really pleased to be able to have amazing bacon and cheese pretzels with our Weissbier....... Love this place (hopefully get breakfast next time)

Great bar, great beer, great food. Stumbled across this place while watching the Pride parade. The atmosphere in the bar is great with lots of seating for drinks and food. There’s two menus, one for snacks and a proper dining menu. We sat around the fire pit which was great for meeting people. I’d recommend the croquettes.

Happy Hour drinks only but well worth the visit. Busy at the bar but helpful ,attentive staff made life easier. Happy Hour cocktails are very female- oriented but beers reduced as well.

Nice place for lunch if you are a meat eater. They do have some vegetarian/vegan choices, but none very inspiring, mainly just fake burgers and sausage. The restaurant is nice inside with quite a chilled vibe. The kids menu wasn't very big. My kids wanted burger so we had to order of the adults menu, so paid £20 with an (overpriced) drink instead of £8 for the kids menu.

The lively ambiance at Albert's Schloss is complemented by its well-curated selection of beers, including unique brews. The live entertainment adds an energetic vibe. While the menu leans towards meat-heavy options, vegetarians can find flavorful dishes too. Keep in mind that prices are reflective of the location. Overall Albert's Schloss offers a distinctive and enjoyable blend of food, drinks, and entertainment in the heart of Manchester.

Food was great, not as good as it used to be but still delicious! Cocktails were great, and so was the beer. It was a little rowdy due to the Xmas parties going on, but had a great night regardless.

Absolutely brilliant place to visit. Fantastic vibes. Great place to go if you just want a quick bite to eat or if you want to have a moider and enjoy the atmosphere, staff are brilliant and welcoming. The prices are very fair, worth every penny spent. Will definitely be visiting again

We had such a wonderful afternoon here today. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by the friendliest team, who delivered the best service! The atmosphere was spot on. We had some amazing cocktails at the bar (the Snow Bunny, Spiced Margarita and Strawberry Beer were particular favourites) before tucking into beef sirloin and roasted pork knuckle. Both were delicious and came with plenty of veg, roasties and rich meaty gravy. We’d gone to celebrate a significant milestone in our family’s history and Team Schloss couldn’t have handled it better. THANK YOU we literally cannot wait to come back 🤗

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, well presented and provided in a timely manner. But the service we were provided with was next to none, with both our server and the manager John going out of their way to assure my friends and I had an enjoyable and hospitable time. Will most definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends and family!

Absolutely amazing place. Love the German theme. The food is so good, great quality! Hubby's favourite beers all on tap and a huge selection of drinks besides. Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. What more can you ask for?!

One of the best bars in the city, although it is quite pricey there is a fantastic range of drinks available. The location is great, and the size of the bar is brilliant, with plenty of space, seating and tables to meet with friends. The staff are always really friendly, welcoming and helpful too.

I’d wanted to come here for ages so had high expectations and it didn’t disappoint. I was going to a concert nearby but didn’t book in advance as I was unsure what time I’d make it there. The host on the door was fantastic when I explained why I couldn’t make a reservation and found a table for me immediately when I explained my circumstances, though I think I dropped lucky, it was 6.30 on a Wednesday. Service was incredible, the two guys serving me, Val and Ancor were friendly, helpful, chatty and knowledgeable about the food and drink on offer. I ordered the Schweinshaxe (roast pork knuckle) and a pint of German black lager. I’ve travelled a lot in Germany on business trips and the Schweinshaxe was well above the average of what I’ve eaten in Germany. The beer was excellent too. Decor and atmosphere are great. I left feeling very happy and well fed.

We ate here to "kill some time" before an event next door at Albert Hall. We chose a window booth, someone quickly took our order. We asked about food and was told to go to a desk over the other side of the bar. Most people eating there have to sit in a specific area, but they let us remain in the booth. Food was good, bit pricey (£15.50 for a burger) but it's Manchester city centre so expected it. One of the toilet cubicles was interactive - rainbow lights or if you press a button you can change the lights and a pop song is played. 2 toilets in the cubicle so share with a friend. Retro photograph booth found on the way to the toilet too. Dog friendly, and the staff bring water bowls for anyone's dogs. Does get busy, even on a Monday night. We would definitely go there again.

The place have really good atmosphere and the live music come on at 8.30pm is really good. Cocktail is really good and worth it. The only thing I would say is that the burger I had a little dry and there is no options for sauce for the steak. The fries was a little too salty for me.

Beer was good, service ok but difficult to get to the bar as people were sitting there. It was absolutely packed. Good atmosphere and loved being by the fire on the icy cold day. Didn't have food but it looked and smelled good.

A stop here for breakfast having never visited an Albert’s Schloss before. A good breakfast menu, well priced and service was friendly and fast. Great quality food and drink. Well worth a visit if nearby if only to marvel at the gorgeous entranceway which many people were photographing as they passed by.

We hd breakfast here as we were visiting the centre and were hungry before lunch. We stopped as we read great reviews and I can tell they were so accurate! The all venue is such a brilliant piece of decor! A mix between alpine and vintage british interiors. Great details in every corner. Really cosy and laid back. The service was incredible, fast and really friendly. The waiter who served us gave us recommendations and made sure we were having a good time without being oppressive. The pastries were to die for!! I love them! Extremely recommended. Price was a bit high but you are here for a treat so we were more than happy to pay for it! Highly recommended!!

Amazing food and atmosphere! We had the chicken schnitzel and Steak with fries and it was perfect! The steak was cooked to medium-rare as asked. The beer selection is great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend 100 percent! Would definitely come back here.

Cool place with a nice atmosphere. Nice cider and the pretzels are delicious. Ended up having a few rounds of cider and different pretzels to try them out. Service was good too, very quick (but it wasn't overly busy) There's a shuffleboard table, which is fun! Love different bar games and this one is just a bit different, which is nice. Good location, not too overly priced. Would defo be happy to return, either after work for a quick pint and bite to eat or for a proper night out at the weekend.

Booked a table a week in advance to secure one on a Sunday. Came for early dinner with a friend. The foods were surprisingly good. My only nitpick is they were a tad too salty for my liking. I would highly recommend the Pork Knuckle! The skin was super cripsy whilst the meat was really tender. They had a wide variety of drinks option too. The staff was lovely and attentive even though I only managed to finish half of my main. Having a live band definitely brought my experience to the next level!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
