Honestly my fave place, great food, great atmosphere, entertainment and service. Love every single starter - my friends call it my second home 😂 I’ve tried to provide as many food pics as possible, can’t say a single bad word 😊 *EDIT* - slightly disappointed when I recently went to eat there - the food portions have gotten a lot smaller, the food still tastes decent but not as great as it used to be. Can’t fault the service though, they’re all so friendly and helpful.

I had to opportunity to grace this amazing restaurant and bar with my friends. And the experience was incredible. If you are a picture lover like me, then there is a well decorated space for you. I took really nice pictures, check them out! The food was also nice, although some of the food options wasn’t really my favorites but I still found my tribe. So if you are looking for a a place to have a casual dinner night with friends or a venue for birthday party/ bridal showers, then you’ve got the right place.

I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about this restaurant. My friends and I visited for the first time at the weekend and had the most amazing experience. The food was 10/10 and although I only ordered from the ‘small plates’ menu, my portion was more than enough. We had an extra person join our party last minute and the staff very kindly changed our table to cater for this in order to give us more space. The entertainment was fab and really complimented the atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced and the service was fast & efficient. The best thing about the restaurant for me was definitely the decor! My friends and I spent most of the night taking photos and the lovely bar lady even took some for us! I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to anyone who has not yet been! Nothing less than 5 stars!

I came here for my hen party for bottomless brunch there were 16 of us. So the reason I only gave 3 star for atmosphere is because they put us up on stairs on a balcony type of thing and the atmosphere look like it was mainly down stairs. The food were food but everyone was still really hungry after so eat before you go. The cocktails were nice and not strong, mocktails were really good as well. The place itself is really nice

Quite a difficult choice for rating. Good atmosphere and decent cuisine, amazing performances so overall I would recommend this place for a night out in Manchester. Be mindful if you are a tourist you have to book in advance and the place is booked for 2.5 hours, after that they will invite you to the bar even if there are more free tables. Nonetheless I would recommend it

Food no better than a wetherspoons and well overpriced. Our waiter was on his phone and didn't even hide it. It's tacky inside and looks cheap. They have the cheek to charge you 5 pound for entertainment which was like something out of a strip club There are much better places in Manchester than here. It was my girlfriends birthday and they did nothing at all. Avoid this place.

Bit too posey for me. Think I'm just too old for it. Very expensive food. One of those places where the waiters look down on you. Alright though. And once we'd finished our meal we had to leave the table and all the bar area was reserved so we had to leave and go elsewhere then.

Went today and honestly amazing all round!! Food was to die for and the staff were amazing. We went for the bottomless brunch we didn't have to ask for drink refills as the staff were keeping their eye on our drink levels. It is pricey but i feel that it is totally worth it for the service and quality you get will definitely be going back

We had dinner here and decide on small plates to share. Everything we had was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Entertainment while we ate was brilliant too. Great atmosphere with upbeat music playing in-between the girls coming out. Great venue.

This is a place for insta crazy people who want amazing pics. No halal food here so had to opt for veg and fish dishes. The customer service is amazing. Loved the ambience.

We went there for a Christmas party and the food was amazing! Unfortunately there were no performances but it was a Wednesday so probably that’s why! Staff was super attentive and we loved the surprise shots in small bathtubs 🛁

Came here for my 20th birthday, absolutely loved it! There was 11 of us and they all fit us in a booth. We had afternoon tea which was lovely, the cakes were sweet but not too sweet which is to my liking. The afternoon tea included mini sweet cakes which came on a ferris wheel and it was moveable which was really cool to see, it was positively different. However, we were so full from eating so the waitresses allowed us to take the remaining food home. The service was amazing, the team worked together whilst delivering a friendly service. They gave my auntie and I a little brownie cake, with cream and a little candy floss with sparkling candle (1st image), which they did not charge us for as it was a birthday special. This was very much appreciated of them. There are also Instagramable scenery within the restaurant (3rd image), this scenery had a ring light and others. The toilets were also clean nice to take mirror selfies in as there were quotes from celebrities on them.

The food and the overall experience was fabulous! They cater for every allergy which was so lovely. A perfect place for a hens dinner.

Came here for a drink with a friend and it was amazing! As soon as you walk in, you don’t know where to look because the decor in the entire place is so pretty! The bartender was friendly. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri - drinks are slightly on the pricey side but no different to any other bar in Manchester. The bathtub with balls was a great place to take pics - spent a good 10 minutes posing there! The toilets were clean. Would like to come back for afternoon tea or one of the events they host in evenings.

the one star is just for the atmosphere and the aesthetic photography that can be took, because the food was absolutely terrible, we got the 4 ice cream cones and they were disgusting the my friends couldn't even finish the salted caramel one because it was that salty, the chocolate one tasted like nothing as did the strawberry and vanilla, it's like the tiniest bit of flavour went in some cream... and it was £12. in one of the pictures you can see some ice cream on a plate, that was my friend taking out the salted caramel ice cream and just eating the cone. we got the cookie dough as well and although it was good it was tiny. the mocktail was meh. and people are going to say "oh people go for the savoury food" but that shouldn't mean that the desserts should be so below average.

Pricey for us but the lunch menu was great value for money. Service and food were lovely, quick lunch portion sizes. Decorated beautifully to a high standard, however felt very still - not much atmosphere.

As a last minute idea and without a reservation, we were given one the best seats in house, despite it also being valentine's weekend. A ornately decorated bird cage with flowers and romantic lighting. The food and service was as perfect as could be as well as the entertainment and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Ménagerie.

Where do I start? I Celebrated my 24th birthday dinner party at their private dinning upstairs and it couldn’t have gone any better. I received full support when securing the reservations and any questions I had were answered clearly and professionally. The decorations company that they are in business with (Pretty Parcels) did a beautiful job with decorating upstairs exactly how I requested. The food was was lovely from the starters to desserts. The music and DJ that Sunday evening was on fire and had everyone dancing at the table. Last but not least, the waitress and waiter assigned to my table that evening provided nothing but friendly, exceptional service. So thanks Menagerie🔥

I had the sticky bao buns and the caulipops on the small plates menu - both were very tasty. The restaurant is expensive, with both small plates costing around £10-£12 plus a 12.5% service charge included - however, you do get shots on arrival included with the booking, and there is a performance every every half hour. The music is loud so I wouldn’t recommend it for a first date etc! But it’s a great vibe, full of women on hen parties, birthdays etc, wearing dresses and heels - I wore a skirt and boots and didn’t feel too underdressed however. Overall, I would recommend this place, more so if the pink, girly, cocktail, instagram-worthy type place is your vibe!

The food is constantly well prepared and tasty, employees provides great customer service. I really like how neat it is and mood. Highly recommended.

Atmosphere was great and the decor is amazing. Starters were nice however ordered a vegetarian ravioli with Parmesan on. (Parmesan isn’t vegetarian). Asked them to make me a new one without. Manager came over and had to explain to him why Parmesan isn’t vegetarian to which he then admitted they used to use vegetarian Parmesan and now don’t after first he replying yes Parmesan isn’t vegan (obviously) - Was quite condescending thought he knew everything. Said even the sauce is made with it so not vegetarian at all. Had to wait a while for a new dish. Used the £20 offer and wasn’t put on the bill so had to wait even longer. Asked for a discount due to the delay wasn’t put on the bill. Added a sour note to the evening some staff were lovely, management were incompetent and extremely disappointed with some service. Won’t go back for a while.

Food was good (when cooked right). The staff stared off as being really helpful and welcoming. Starters were incredible and we thought we were in for a great evening. When ordering mains I was asked if I wanted my lamb pink (to which I replied yes), when the mains came it was well done and the manager came and spoke to me in a condescending manner telling me it wasn't overcooked and it was in fact the pink lighting in the restaurant (even though we were sat by the window so had natural light, along with the fact I'm not a fool). On top of the poor service once a problem was raised - encouraged and lead by the floor manager there was an optional service charge on the bill which is cheeky to say the least as if I geel the food and service is good enough I will tip accordingly. 3 stars may be generous especially seeing many others have experienced similar when reading reviews.

Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service. Treated our mum on mothers day to the Sunday roast. Will be travelling back from cardiff again. The best roast and desserts.

Went later on in the evening for a few drinks to finish the night but the service was appalling. We were taken to a table fairly quickly and told someone will be over to take our order, after 15mins of trying to attract, what seemed like the only waiter, I had to go to the bar to ask someone for drinks. (We were under covid rules so couldn't order at the bar) The drinks were OK but if service is that bad on a quiet night can't imagine what it would be like if they were busy.

Went last night with my boyfriend for his birthday meal and we had a lovely time. I love the vibes music and decor and staff were friendly bringing my bf a little brownie for his birthday. We used the 50% off deal and without it , the food would be more on the expensive side but we thought the food was lovely. We went on a Thursday so was quieter inside I can imagine on weekends its heaving. Loved the little Selfie area. Definitely recommend:)

Very nice place but it was too dark. It's not like it was a romantic dinner for two. I understand the energy bills are high but nobody wants to eat in the dark.The whole restaurant was dark. The food was absolutely amazing. The cocktails arent the best. The waiter was very attentive and professional and discussed the menu with us One person had food allergy and the manager came to enquire about the allergy. The toilets can do with a bit of refurbishment though.

A group of us had my birthday here on Saturday and we had the best best best time in such a stunning venue! There was 15 of us for bottomless brunch - it was incredible, and definitely worth the money. I can not thank the staff enough! From the moment we walked in the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the waitress we got was absolutely brilliant - she worked so hard to ensure we had the best time and never left us with an empty glass during bottomless brunch. Thanks again menagerie, your bottomless brunch will be a hard one to beat!

We ate here last night for my birthday. Pros first the food was nice. Not the best meal I've ever had but was tasty and presented nicely. Staff were lovely and polite. The venue is decorated lovely Now the CONS!!!! Tables were so close together it may as well be one long table. The 'entertainment' which you pay a premium for (£5) I was expecting A LOT more. I was expecting a constant stream of acrobats, fire eaters ect but they come out 1 at a time every half an hour for a couple of minutes. so all the time we were there we saw 3 lovely ladies do a dance and a fire eater! My husband booked and said it was my birthday! it wasn't even acknowledged. I won't be going back was a massively underwhelming experience

I visited Ménagerie on the 28th December for my Hen party!! We had such a great evening!! We was a group of 8 girls and all of the food was delicious!! I had the shrimp cocktail followed by salmon and it was delicious!! The entertainment was great!! And the DJ was insane!! We did not stop dancing all night!! I will 100% come back and recommend you to my friends!!

Went for someones birthday. the table we booked 'coudn't be found' so we stood like battery hens shoulder to shoulder with pounding sh** music blaring. Never seen more fakeness in one room in all my life. not everyones cup of tea really. attracts the stuck-up sorts - the types that queue for a selfie ring light I bought one house rum and coke £7 didn't even bother finishing it I just wanted to just leave and go spend my night elsewhere.

Had a great time here for a Christmas party, quite expensive though. I think a lot of the other girls here don't have to buy their own drinks though :(

Came here last night to celebrate my 30th Birthday, we were a little disappointed about the table we had been given as didn't have a good view of the entertainment. But have to say the service, food and drinks and cost of being there was brilliant. We loved it and had a brilliant evening!

Good night out, always lively and a party atmosphere to the crowd definitely one of the best late night bars in town at the moment for a good time.

It was reasonable enough. Some of the staff are better than others so it can be a bit hit and miss. Also states no hen partys and clearly there were at least 3 so think they may need to change that.

Great place plus atmosphere for a business meeting, over lunch plus a fentons ginger ale and rounding up with good smelling coffee!

The man that greeted us at the door was great as were the waiting staff. The bar staff weren't the cheeriest but I suppose it was a Tuesday evening! It's a little pricey without an offer on, so it might be better for special occasions rather than a mid-week meal, but couldn't fault the food and a very cool atmosphere inside.

The food was fantastic but this review is of my overall experience. The music was so loud we couldn't speak. To say we was cramped would be an understatement. Then to top it off I had my bags in the cloak room with my shopping which an item went missing and hasn't been handed in. I was looking forward to having food at Menagerie now I will 100% not be returning as the experience left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday. The service I received was amazing as well with the food!!! waitress katie very friendly and very helpful!! she had amazing knowledge of the food and went above and beyond to ensure that we received good customer service. This had been our first trip to Manchester and would definitely recommend this place!!!
