Their February Set Menu for a 2-course meal was at £13.95 which is a good deal considering it's in the Spinningfields. The décor looked welcoming and the atmosphere was great as it was quite busy on a Thursday afternoon. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered starters : Crispy Chicken and Sesame Dumplings and Crispy Calamari and for mains : Minute Steak and Chargrilled Chicken Breast. We were quite impressed with the starters' portion size, texture and flavours. We enjoyed both the starters very well. For mains, we found them average compared to the starters which had set the bar high. Nonetheless, we had a good time there and would come back again.

Dining Experience @ Bill's Spinningfields Restaurant. . Named after founder William 'Bill' Collison since June 2001, Bill's is a casual dining restaurant chain with over 40 outlets across England, 2 in Manchester alone. . Ambience is opulent and comfortable. The place is packed with greenery and curious knick-knacks. Warm lights from large chandeliers illuminate the plush booth seats and marble tables, a luxurious atmosphere. I like that they have power outlets to charge devices. . Service is attentive and polite, with staff carrying out requests quickly, and cleaning up efficiently when diners leave. They demonstate good product knowledge on the menu, and accomodate a good range of dietary requirements. . Food is Modern British English cuisine, featuring fresh seasonal ingredients. Dishes are well-executed, tasty and appealing. Portions are sized for individuals. Prices are reflective of a cafe, budget around GBP £14 per person. . The Orange Juice (GBP £3.75) is freshly pressed, thin and refreshing with fruity zesty tangy sweet sour flavour. Has some orange pulp within. . The Eggs Benedict (GBP £9.95) was beautiful. Perfectly poached eggs, wobbly soft, sit on tender Wiltshire pork ham and crisp toasted English muffins, coated with creamy hollandaise sauce and paprika. Cut in and the golden yolk oozes out, coating everything with luscious goodness. Has bready toasty smoky meaty salty savoury eggy sweet spice flavour.

Wasn’t too keen on Bills. My dish had more lettuce than anything else and was over powered by it. Eggs cold and I struggled to find the yogurt. Service wasn’t attentive at all. Completely understand it was busy but I work in the industry… there were plenty of staff to manage. It was a birthday which my husband arranged with someone to have profiteroles brought to the table with a candle. A waitress came first to say ‘you’re just waiting on profiteroles right?’ In front of birthday girl… then another staff brought it out without the candle… finally got them with a group of staff members singing happy birthday which I appreciated and the profiteroles were on the house. My sister loves it there and it was a busy Sunday so will give the benefit of the doubt but I wouldn’t rush back.

Lovely place. They have a good quantity of nice options to choose. The presentation of the food is good with prices running around 8-13£, they have also a day menu. Don't spect a fast food service, you will not come here to that. Waiters are really nice and friendly and the place is nice to come with a small group of friends, family or your partner.

Bill’s is one of my favorite places to go to! Nice location in Kingston & the place has a nice vibe to it~ The portion sizes are quite generous, and food quality is decent. This is definitely my go to breakfast / brunch places! Recommend: Fruit pancakes

First time in Bills for me, I wasn't dissappointed. Christmas Eve breakfast, absolutely delicious. Had the traditional, swapped fried egg for poached ..cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere, even at 8.30am! Staff friendly and attentive.

Came here for my birthday breakfast. The best breakfast I have ever had. I am vegetarian so it is hard sometimes to get a nice breakfast, however, the one in Bills was absolutely spot on! I would recommend this place to everyone! Beautiful decor. Lovely staff. Amazing food! Keep good work everyone! Well done

Summary: a few veggie options. Food mainly very nice. Service really good. Kid friendly. We all enjoyed our mains. My parents were disappointed that their chicken came only with some watercress and no other veg. Having to order a side of veg, imo, is not right if the meal should have really come with veg to complete it. My main was really nice veggie platter style. The service was really friendly and there was just enough room for the pram etc. I would def eat here again.

Lovely restaurant in Spinningfields, that offers fantastic value and great tasting food in a beautiful setting. I love the Bills Big Breakfast Brunch, perfect for a late breakfast. They have outdoor seating and lots of room inside. Perfect for a cosy tasty brunch. For the location this is a hidden gem. The staff and service was excellent and we will be visiting again

I've visited quite a few of these across the country and the leave of service has differed. This was my first visit to this particular restaurant and I'm glad I.made the effort. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with welcoming smile. I was seated within seconds and as I knew what I wanted I ordered straight away, all of the young staff were polite and attentive, not just to my table but every other diner. The 2 managers (I'm making an assumption - young blonde woman in a white top, and an equally young brunette in pink top) seemed to run the place like clockwork. No sooner was I sat than my burger arrived (see image). Perfectly cooked, succulent chicken with just the right amount of seasoning. Overall, probably the best experience I've had in a Bill's restaurant. Keep up the fantastic work UPDATE Decided to make return visit a few nights later, after all when you get great service why go elsewhere. The service and the food was just as wonderful as the previous visit. The waitress - Adele was engaging and as with all the other staff couldn't do enough to make sure I enjoyed the dining experience.. PROBABLY.. NO DEFINITELY THE BEST BILLS I'VE VISITED. keep up the amazing work, and see you again in a few weeks. 😀

Was probably one of the nicest places I've been to in a while. I'm not usually one to appreciate decor and such but I loved the vibe. Staff were great (even when working 12 hour shifts!) and provided a great service. The food was lovely.

Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Great options for Gluten Free for one of our party. Service was v slow - it took an hour for the food to come out, we had to chase it up. Vegan breakfast and the standard English breakfast was lovely. Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was tasteless and for some reason they lovely sprinkling chives over everything which does ruin it. Coffee tastes horrible!

Food was okay, had a hair in my drink then a crack in another glass. Bought bottomless brunch and thought food was included but wasn't, cist ovr 90 quid for two of us. My fault so thought make the most of the 90 mins of the drink. Only prosecco cocktails. Was ordering two each then at the last 30 minutes was told my manager said you can only order one each and they took ages to bring them to you once you ordered them. Won't be going again.

Visited Bill's Spinning Fields restaurant in Manchester and found the food excellent. The service was good as well. The waiter was very kind. In the vast sea of this new shopping mall this cosy restaurant Bill's stood out, always a fan favorite among the pedestrians who slipped past the towering walls of the shopping complex. Cool decor! We would have loved a bigger kids menu, but the mac and cheese was good, as were the chips. Loved the mini cinnamon doughnuts. Our waiter, Solomon, was really efficient and friendly. Overall, 5 star definite.

Been looking for the best calamari in Manchester and I found it. This is the ONLY place to serve it with a red sauce. Ambience is lovely. Server was professional and attentive. Feedback: 1) red sauce with calamari should be warmed and some spice would be nice. 2) Caesar salad lacking that anchovy flavour 3) margarita was bland and would be better if the rim had “Tajin” and/or featured the peppers served w/calamari 🌶️

So I went there for their bottomless pancakes because it was pancakes Day and what can I say I really liked the pancakes. The place was vibrant and cozy. You can definitely go with your family there. I will definitely go there for their brunch section that really intrigued me more. The music was good. I wish they just gave us more syrup like on the side so if we want more we can just add to it.. Other than that I will go back again really soon

The food was fair at best with nothing really tasty or exciting. Service was very slow considering there were not many tables occupied and it was four in the afternoon. I was a terrible value for the money you spend. Place inside is nice and the drinks were good, but considering all of the good food we have had here, I would skip this place if I had a second chance and try something else in the area. There are too many other choices and probably much better food and much better experience overall. I would skip Bills altogether and I will not be returning

Lovely place for birthday brunch, the staff were fantastic, friendly and just about attentive enough without overcrowding you. I had the breakfast which was delicious that was followed by some pancakes for my birthday courtesy of the staff, all-round lovely visit it will be coming back 😊

What a great little find by my 6 year old! who happily read on a sign that 'kids eat free!' and after looking at the menu we decided to give it a try! We were welcomed by Chloe who offered a table inside or outside in their cute little garden area out front. I ordered the vegan burger which was huge and came with rosemary fries , both were delicious! My daughter ordered the fried chicken with fries , she also got to choose a side , which we went for a pot of hummus and carrot sticks! She finished up with 2 scoops of ice cream!. We had a lovely lunch, the place is super quirky and interesting inside. It's a nice touch they are doing during the holidays ( not sure if it's just for this period) for the kids to eat free. Word must have got out because it was busy inside the restaurant. I would definitely return, there seemed to be a decent choice on the menu. They also served breakfast brunch and dinner. There was a 12.5% voluntary service charge which I was happy to pay as my daughter ate well. Go check it out!

Fantastic for brunch, varied menu, something for everyone from light bites like yogurt and granola to full English and healthy options in between. Fun decor, nice surrounds, friendly service

Ordered Egg benedict with Avocado but seems like I got a whole bottle of Paprika on top of the egg as little extra from the restaurant. The taste itself is so bland. I needed to grab whatever on the table next to us. Thank god...ketchup, salt and pepper saved my life. Imagine i have to use these things to season it. Also, the pancake we ordered is so stale. It's like somebody put it in a microwave for 1mins before serving to us.

Tried the brunch there. Decoration is good food taste is above average not really awesome. But the price is a little bit too high considering the quality of food and service. So basically you are paying for the decoration and location.

Overall, it was a great visit. The service was friendly but not outstanding, probably as we sat outside, so it was difficult to comment on the atmosphere and what it's like inside. Overall, I felt it was a little on the expensive side, but it was comparable to many high St chains. The outside tables were comfortable with heaters and blankets and they are trying to give more customers a chance to dine so a great idea. I would visit again .

Really impressed with the service provided by the manager Michael. He was friendly, helpful, polite and explained that although we couldn't have the 3 course Xmas menu as advertised he gave us all a free glass of prosecco with our meal. Everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service; the price was reasonable for 4 people. Would definitely recommend and come again for another meal!

Had a meal here before going to a show at the AO Arena. I had the meatballs followed by the Bills flowerpot dessert. I enjoyed both and particularly the dessert as it was delicious. 😋 House wine was very pleasant too.

My family and I enjoyed a late breakfast at the v friendly Bill’s Manchester whilst out Christmas shopping last week. The restaurant felt really festive and our waitress Mollie made a fuss of our young children, keeping them smiling during our meal. Breakfast was really good, big portions and the juices were particularly nice; we were recommended two to try and they were spot on! Service was fast and everything accurate - even with me asking to swap out some of my breakfast for extra mushrooms. Really impressed and the visit was a highlight of the shopping day out for us all.

I went to this restaurant because there was a dating event held by a company called Unified Dating and no-one turned up so I was sat alone for a whole hour. Rachel (general manager) and Roisin (bar staff) never made me feel alone even though I was sat alone and always checked on me to see how I was feeling and they were very empathetic throughout and made me feel like I was at home and I have to say that they are the nicest staff I have ever come across in any restaurant and they are a prime example of what customer service should be. ❤ The halloumi fries and diet coke that I had were also provided free of charge to compensate for the £13.99 that I paid for this dating event but I have to say, I wouldn't think twice paying for food that high of quality for the prices. ☺ Roisin also had said that I'm welcome back any time and I will definitely be paying a visit again. 🙂

Really nice place to go for brunch. We had the breakfast and the eggs royale and both were great. The service is brilliant, we got seated straight away even though the restaurant was really busy and the waitress Megan was so lovely. Definitely recommend☺️

Great place for brunch. Food at bills is always top. Quality. Usually go for bills. Big brunch but this time decided to have salmon bagel with poached egg which was so fresh hit the spot 10/10

Last minute breakfast booking and was very happy with our choice. The menu has plenty options for breakfast, you can't drink until 10am due to licensing so if you're wanting a mimosa book after this time.

Choose from breakfast Extras menu with peas fried potatoes fried eggs and bacon 🥓. So this time I tried dessert 🎂 is so god damn elegant 😱. There's a plant and a piece of biscuit printed with Bill's, planting on soil which made from cheesecake with a slice of chocolate biscuit crumbs on the top. Blueberries strawberries around this lovely flower. I wonder which stylist is so brilliant to have a super smart brain that could invent this so lovely and luxury breakfast. It just cost me 12 £ with student discount and without service fee... Because I'm a 100% foodie, I dine in this restaurant almost every day. Not to mention it's lovely environment, you could just say the food is so elegant to become one of the scenery inside as well. Compared to many other restaurants in Manchester, The food, the price and the environment. The value is definitely out of its price. I love healthy food and this food is definitely healthy to eat.

Came here for bottomless brunch on Sunday 30 April and it was amazing. The vegan breakfast is really nice. The best thing about this place is the service though. Sophie was an absolute star. We all had Prosecco for drinks and they just gave us the bottle and said to give us a shout when it was empty, which is so much more relaxed than having to order by the glass! Everything she did was spot on, we felt very well looked after. Would come again 100%! One thing though, on the website and booking confirmation it says that bottomless is £18.50 not £20.50! I emailed about this a few days ago with a few other questions but never got a response. So the actual in restaurant experience was amazing, back of house/website/email side of things needs a bit of tweaking. However I would definitely come back. The vegan salted caramel chocolate tart is super dreamy too 😍😋

Place has elegant decorate and quite a nice vibe. For foods, We ordered a sirloin steak and a seafood linguine. The steak look a bit over cook but the taste is still good.Seafood linguini actually surprised me how tasty. The source of that not only tomato, chef use the lobster soup for basic with the nice ingredients. It’s made totally perfect. We also had some tea for drink, they were pretty good. Staff were nice. I had a great experience here. Highly recommended!

I came here for my first work brunch.. to be honest I've tried two different branches in the last ten years and have never been appeased. My colleagues chose here as you could book it in quite short notice which was needed at this busy time! We all sat at a long table at the back and were served pretty promptly. I did fancy a beer but as my colleagues opted for cordial I chose not to be the black sheep and opted for a tropical juice instead. Knowing I was going for dinner later I chose a light starter which for £7.50 consisted of x6 black nachos, 4 pieces of wafer thin tuna..and sour cream.. my other colleagues had chicken ceaser salads and burgers ..everyone else's looked okay but still expensive for what it was..I just felt very underwhelmed with mine especially when it came to splitting the bill. Overall service was good but nope really don't want to come back here.

Went there for my birthday meal with my kids, I booked a table less than 2 hours before our arrival time. The amazing and very friendly staff greeted us at the door and wished me a great birthday. The seating and decorations are gorgeous and sophisticated. The food menu is versatile, I went for my usual Halloumi burger, with rosemary salt fries. The kids had a 2 course meal from the kids menu with freshly pressed juices. They served me a lovely cup of coffee on the place for my birthday which was a very nice gesture. Not the first time and defo not gonna be the last. Thank you Bills xx
