Good location with great selection. During peak time there will be a long queue! But booking/reservation is available (they will ask you if you have a reservation). Their ramen is amazing! It is so fresh and flavoury. The soup is thick and strong, with their soy sauce and seasame it is even better. The portion is sooo satisfying, you can easily get full with one single portion. The meal deal is also valuable. We are vegan so everything is plant-based. Their vegan chicken tastes really good. I also love the drink a lot. Fab staff, always so welcoming! Definitely a place worth trying!

A warm and wonderful experience. I was dining alone again and it still makes me nervous but everyone was great and made me feel at home. Big shout out to Abi for explaining the menu perfectly and showing great attention to detail. Food arrived promptly and tasted great. It's not the cheapest place to eat but the quality is there and it's situated really well

Amazing Tonkotsu ramen. Honestly, I have never tasted Tonkotsu before and I have heard so much about it and tried it here first time. Loved it. Tried spicy octopus balls. Can't remember the specific name. Very tasty. Didn't expect that taste. Be very careful with 'Sake'. It's not like wine. It's like vodka. Very powerful. Just two cups and I was done. Happy with service and ambience. Everyone was lovely. Parking: have to park somewhere else and walk to this place. Good location to have a fun stroll and enjoy the meal.

We visit this place for first time and we where very surprise with there lovely ramens. We order Origin tonkosu and Shoryu ganso tonkosu ramens. Food come very quickly. Meat both and noodles taste amazing. Proper made from fresh food. Pork belly on our ramens where just melting in our mouth. All together come with 2 drinks around £37. Worth every penny. This place has the best ramen we ever had! Must visit for all ramen lovers like us!!!❀ Also this place having excellent customer service. They know how to value costumers.

Deep flavour broth that leaves your mouth a little sticky. A good sign that they’re using a real broth. We went for a lunch set and were quite surprised. The buns were really nice. We tried the pork and chicken and our favourite was the crispy chicken. The matcha cheese cake was really too bitter and a little on the rough side, but still a good experience. Love the little ice cream mochi.

Amazing place! Absolutely delicious and a really nice atmosphere inside. We went on a Monday night and it was pretty busy, but they were happy to seat us despite not having a reservation. Service was fast and friendly. Would 100% visit again.

Food is authentic, especially the Ramen (since I ordered some sides on my first visit, but they are pretty average). Although I've tried better Japanese food in Manchester than this, with a similar price range. The service is not bad, but it's ridiculous that they charge a 10% service fee when all they've done was taking the food to the table and removing them when we finished. We haven't even spoken for a word because the food is ordered and paid on our own mobile.

I've been here twice within recent weeks, and both times were splendid. Service is good and the staff are welcoming/friendly. The Ramen comes out piping hot and is flavoursome and filling. The Karaage portion whilst small is incredibly crunchy and delectable. Overall, a brilliant little restaurant with great food

Great Ramen place!! Loved so much we ate there twice in one weekend. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and all the items they offer. The place is a bit small so I recommend getting a reservation if possible.

Nice food and i do love that they can order food either by scanning qr code or talking to the staff, i always like to have options to be extrovert or introvert depends on mood. Food is lovely within reasonable price, serving fast, did bring me back to Asian. Just the sign by door was a bit confused, something like "wait here to be seated", but no staffs came to us when we wait out at the door but open the door to ask.

Great location and EXCELLENT serviceπŸ‘ I love cold noodle so I was so happy to hear that they have one, but the noodle was very warmπŸ˜‚ The Takoyaki was so delicious! so would definitely recommend it! But the Ice cream was very small compared to the price

We've been in Manchester and we chose Shoryu for dinner. Unfortunately not the best choice. Nice place with beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff but food is average. Ramen was not something to remember. The portion had 3 really very thin slices of pork belly and 2 bites of pickled ginger. BBO pork buns they were cold. Also, they didn't have rice at 7:30pm.

Friendly restaurant with an authentic feel. Very small so the tables are quite close together and the service was slow but overall good quality food and nice place to have a quick meal.

Hakata Set Menu for £23 (+ 10% service charge) Service: 5/5 very friendly staff and walked me through my options for each food Food: Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu (their signature ramen) 4/5. A bit salty for me (there are other reviews that mentioned the same), although I think for others they would love it. Serving portion is I think smaller than the usual ramen bowl I would have. Ice cream mochi: 4/5. I had the chocolate and mango, and I liked the mango mochi better! Tho the flavours are too sweet for me. Lychee cocktail: 5/5. Must try! It's on the sweeter side, but goes really well with the ramen. Atmosphere: 4/5. Quite noisy (the speaker, the chefs cooking, and the staff) but tolerable. Others: they gave me service water when I said the mochi was sweet, which is also a plus for the customer service. They also have this coupon that you can get stamps when you visit next time 😊 Oh and the greetings like in any Japanese Resto when you come in and go out. 😊 BUT, the 10% service charge costed them 1star for me Overall: 3/5.

Great place. Delicious food. One of the best ramens I had. Service was outstanding. Thanks

It's probably the best tasting ramen I've eaten so far in Manchester. Service was super friendly and professional, the atmosphere was relaxing, the first good sign was to have asian people eating there, and it did not disappoint 😊 Asked for the Lychee cocktail, and it was really good. Will come back for sure.

Excellent service. Authentic and super tasty Japanese ramen. Wonderful environment with an alfresco sitting area overlooking Piccadilly Gardens. Really enjoyed my time there. Will definitely come back!

Came in as a group of 7 (booked) so was seen and sat quite quickly. Staff was very welcoming and catered to individuals with allergies well. Lots of ramen variety to choose from. Food and drinks came quite quickly. Restaurant isn't that big so would suggest to book beforehand.

The food here at Shoryu is definitely the best in Manchester for sure! I havnt been here in a year and last time I went it was amazing just like the one I had recently !! I came here to celebrate my birthday and just wanted to say thank you for making it 10x better 🀩 the octopus balls are very delicious and addictive πŸ˜‚ the tonkotsu ramen was really good. A nice rich broth but not to much πŸ‘πŸ» I got double egg and it was cooked nicely in a way that is sort of melty orangy?! The noodles were the texture I liked which is good πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘πŸ»Also the matcha ice cream was gorgeous 😍 the staff was really friendly and definitely a coming back more often πŸ₯°

A nice Japanese place for some amazing tasting food with good flavours to activate your taste buds. One of a good restaurants in manchester , but not the best I have eaten to be honest. Also service can be much better in giving more insight in the food served here

Delicious veg friendly ramen and buns. Easy to customize orders. Recommend to book ahead as it gets busy quickly. We booked while we were queueing outside and were able to sit before the people waiting ahead of us.

Food was mediocre, came out lukewarm but quickly in around 5 minutes. It was a bit tasteless, there are better places out there. Staff were lovely and welcoming though.

Went yesterday to dinner and it was niece. At arrival you wait to get seated and one you about to get seated the whole staff welcome you in Japanese saying Irasshaimase, it was very niece, now in to the food, you have two options to order the waitress or the QR code, so if you don't want to talk or you shy you can still order. I order the chicken bao, takoyaki and the katsu ramen, the chicken bao was good but I little bland I wished the sauce have more kick 6/10, the takoyaki was out of this world first time trying it and I fall in love I will come back just for it, crunchy outside soft inside and the octopus chewy and very flavorful 10/10, the chicken katsu ramen initially I didn't want it I wanted the tonkatsu one with pork belly but I it was very good you pick how you want your noddles, it will be niece if they let you choose the spice level, let's go in to details, the broth very flavorful the toppings amazing, the pickle ginger blew my mind, the chicken very crispy even after been in the broth for a while, bthe veggies fresh to death, maybe next time I can get the tonkatsu ramen 8/10, and you can ask more noddles if you still have broth in your bowl, I got ramune soda and it was fun to open. I will come back eventually I just wished I could get the tonkatsu that was the main reason of my visit, and went you left the whole staff say thank you very much in Japanese Arigatōgozaimasu I will rate the experience 7.5/10

Japan’s ramen culture has quietly become a part of Taiwanese daily life. When I walking on the streets of Taipei, every few steps you can spot a ramen restaurant nearby. That’s why we highly recommend β€œSHORYU”, definitely the most authentic Ramen in Manchester!! A big bowl of the hot noodles with minced vegetables and floating slices of pork, the smell is already enough to tell every customer that it is so delicious.

Sides were great, ramen was good (broth a little lukewarm and lacking a bit of balance in flavour, heavy on the richness). Service wasn't great, had to try hard to get their attention and ask for water multiple times and then they added a service charge to the bill. Overall would go back as we enjoyed the food!

Straight 10/10! The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was to die for! When they were out of a certain dish, our waitress went out of her way to give her best reccomendations similar to that. The gingerbread sake was also out of this world!! 😍😍😍 Definitely will have to stop by again next time we're visiting!! :)

The broth here was absolutely gorgeous, I had the Dracula ramen which had tons of garlic in, amazing for any garlic fan. However, I wish there had been a little more pork in the dish. The pork I did have was cold like it had just come from the fridge, which was a little off putting but as long as you push it down into the ramen it's alright. Furthermore, we were asked if we would like some water for the table. In every other restaurant I've been to, this entails a free jug of tap water or something similar- but here, we were presented with a Β£5 750ml bottle of water we then had to pay for. I think that it needs to be much more obvious when you ask if we would like water, that it is in fact, not free

Wonderful experience. I enjoy the classic noodles most there. It is pretty delicious. You got meat, egg and some other seasoning, which the taste is amazing. The octopus meat ball is splendid. My friend said this is the most delicious Korean food restaurant. Overall, good one. Recommend to try

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
