Brief: Pasta destination The Good: The homemade vibes, curated menu, excellent list of wines The Bad: Having a three course meal is very filling Must try: Battered aubergine flower with cheese filling (House special) Summary: A weekday dinner, made reservations. We were early but got seated promptly. I kinda expected a large restaurant but was surprised by the small homely vibe to it. The staff were lovely with their recommendations on the menu. We began with two starters a battered aubergine flower filled with cheese and lamb skewers. Both were excellent. Then my pumpkin goat cheese ravioli was really nice. My friend got the black pasta with black garlic. I liked that one better, and my friend preferred my dish. The Italian style cola was a surprise. I got free biscuits. We are so full we couldn’t get dessert but the tiramisu looked amazing. Have to go back again. Price: ££ (25£ for two course and a drink) Visited: 27/10/2021 Time: 20:15

A warm welcome and wonderful food. It's very clear the meals are prepared with love; love for food, and for good eating. The atmosphere is very friendly, cheerful and bright. Superb Italian wine by the bottle or glass rounds off the experience. Absolutely recommended.

My partner and I recently had an amazing meal at The Pasta Factory. This place knows how to do pasta right! We started with the mouthwatering Arrosticini. For the main course, we tried two pasta dishes that blew us away - Agnolotti And the Ravioli al Pomodoro con Crema di Aglio Nero. The attention to detail and quality ingredients made every bite a delight. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff added to the overall experience. If you're a pasta lover like us, make sure to visit The Pasta Factory. It's pasta perfection, and we can't wait to go back for more!

Very family friendly place to have some most traditional Italian food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not too busy for Sunday lunch, this is the place if you fancy a nice restaurant but not over priced and not too crowded. They also selling pasta and the cutest mini moka pot! Can’t wait to come back next time.

Visited the place with my wife for lunch. Took them a while to find a ramp for my wheelchair but they apologized for the delay. The ambience is virtually non-existent - tiled floor, plastic chairs (some), white walls. The wine was ok. The pasta - we expected better. Both dishes were quite average. The menu is very small. The service is polite but rather slow. Overall, compared to the San Carlo restaurants, it's disappointing.

Lovely place with nice staff. The starter is good and I really liked the bread. Ordered a truffle pasta but barely felt the truffles - the waitress was kind and gave an extra portion. The ravioli is simply AMAZING! The black aioli sauce is incredibly good. Dessert is also good. Not my favourite pasta restaurant but price was fair and I would be back for the ravioli.

The Pasta Factory scores lots of points for authenticity. The Italian run restaurant does some great homemade dishes and even sells their own pasta on site. Good place to buy some guanciale ham and Italian cheeses too!

Authentic Italian Food 😋 yummy! Great vibe and very friendly waiters ✔️ Thursday night : We ordered the tagliatelli RAGU and Buccatini Aglio e Olio & could tell both dishes were made with lots of love We finished off our dinner with Tiramisu (could have done with more coffee soaked biscotti) Grazie Mille Overall 👍 👍 🌟 🌟 😋

Had a great experience and some great pasta. The special was amazing pasta with mushroom sauce. Good wine and beer need mentioning. Pasta is made there, and bread is fresh from some nearby oven. You will love everything about this place. Pet friendly location.

Always great to help support a small independent business, genuine Italian vibe. The dishes are all both delicious and spectacular and served with great taste. The staff is very friendly and kind, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Excellent food! We had a mixed starter plate with cheeses, cured meats, olives, etc., which was delicious. The bread was very good. I had an excellent carbonara and tiramisu to end. Service was variable. Lydia, one of our servers, was very kind and helpful. There was another waiter who forgot to give us menus when we asked, which we shrugged off. But, several times, when we wanted water or the dessert menu, we would make eye contact with him and he would look and then walk past us, which we were baffled by.

Saw the great reviews for this place so we're really surprised by our experience. The pasta was really really poor. Overcooked, clumped together and falling apart. The Ragu was so, so bland. The carbonara was served really cold and we had to send it back, apparently this is "how it's meant to be". We didn't finish either meal and had to ask for them to be removed from the bill. I think the chefs need to taste their food. The service was quite poor too considering how quiet it was. In fairness the cocktails were nice and we really enjoyed the burrata. Hoping we just caught them on a bad day.

Honestly a gem of a restaurant. Really tasty and authentic Italian pasta that I would happily order from again and again just to get to try out the rest of the small but perfectly formed menu. Add in a super inviting atmosphere and kind attentive staff on call... I can't fault the place. Wonderful!

Highly recommend the ravioli Al pomodoro in the pic, while the reginette al tartufo is a bit hard

We had the polenta sticks for starter, pasta with seafood and pasta with mushrooms & truffles. Skip the starter, but otherwise quite good. Lost one star due to us waiting 56 minutes for the food at an empty restaurant. £45 for two people

A week after being in Rome, we visited this restaurant And my experience was great! The food were all great From the antipasti we had, Gamberi in Guazzetto, to the desserts The bread soaked in tomato sauce of our Gamberi in Guazzetto was perfect The buccatini pesto with burrata I had was rso good, fresh pesto I had one scoop of Rocher and pistachio for my gelato and it was just what I needed I miss gelato The staff were all accommodating and friendly I want to go back soon! It was raining when we visited, it's like UK outside but Italy inside Visit when you're in Manchester

Exceptional and authentic Italian restaurant. I have been to Italy and also lived with two lovely Italian flatmates who agree this is one of the best places in Manchester for real Italian pasta. This isn't your Ask Italian or Zizzi. Your pasta will be deliciously fresh and al dente and made with great care. I had a brief conversation with Luca and he said the venison is cooked at least overnight. The courgette flowers were delicious as was the homemade bread. I cannot praise my experience enough and am very grateful to have tried such a gem! Between this and Noi Quattro you can get your Italian fix perfectly in central MCR!

There’s a reason we weren’t able to just walk in and get a table on a Friday night and all the recommendations I’d heard were deserved - for fresh delicious pasta I’ve not been anywhere better! The interior is quite basic but that also gives an authentic vibe, and all the staff were very welcoming from arrival and throughout. There’s a number of blackboards throughout listing special dishes and the waitress was happy to offer recommendations and customise dishes to order too, after checking with the kitchen. The lamb skewer starter was wonderful, presented just as well as the king prawn bruschetta. The side of bread and olives was equally as good with sizeable olives and tasty oil. My main of layered pasta (think lasagne) came with a huge portion size, lots of filling and had the nicest pasta I’ve ever tasted. Everyone else commented their their pasta was equally impressive and it shows that having it freshly made on the premises makes all the difference. Given the size of the main dishes there was no need for desert but it’s a restaurant I will be sure to return to. The name and exterior appearance don’t do the incredible food justice and it’s rounded off by the brilliant staff - I can’t recommend it enough.

Fantastic authentic restaurant Great little independent Pasta restaurant, with knowledgeable friendly service a reassuringly short menu and good drinks options. Our Vegan diner was also well catered for. I’ve already recommended to other family members and hope to return soon.

My experience was not good at all. I got stomachache after having vegan pasta! not worth going though little shots were fine!

The Ambiente was quite nice and homely and they have special deals on all the time. It was very yummy. I would say the price is justified however I do wish there was more actual pasta on the plate!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
