I absolutely love this place! I've been a couple of times. The first time I came just for cocktails, which are really nice. They're a bit on the expensive side because they don't have any kind of happy hour type deal, but to be honest it is more of a restaurant. They were still really nice though. Since then, I've always gone when they have vouchers available on Manchester Confidentials. This means I've pretty much had 50% off which is amazing, especially because the food is flawless. They have some really great vegetarian and vegan options too. The coconut rice was the best rice I've ever had (but it is sweet so if you're not into sweet then it might not be best for you). Staff are friendly, nice atmosphere, good prices and GREAT food. Would strongly recommend.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Really well presented and food arrived quick. Customer service is honestly the best, all of the waitresses were so attentive. The food portion was really filling and tastes amazing. Look forward to returning again!

You can’t go wrong with Thaikun!! The food is amazing!! Every dish tastes so so good! Only downside is it’s quite pricey and the portions small but it’s so worth it! I would definitely recommend 😊

Food was decent. Service was really good and the place had a good vibe. I would definitely come back - not the most amazing Thai but everything still tasted pretty good.

Superb Thai food served with style and authenticity in a vibrant yet chilled atmosphere. Staff are reliable, quick, attentive and always available. A good pace to food and drink service . Perfect place to have a couples meal or a get together with friends.

Couldn’t have been happier after our last visit to Thaikhun. The atmosphere was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We ordered a vegan mixed platter to start, then selected three dishes off the tapas selection, tofu green curry, tofu pad Thai and vegan chicken with cashew nuts stir fry, and a side of Jasmin rice. It was so delicious we also ordered a plate of the Thai basil fried rice so we had enough food to take away for the next day! The cocktail was also delicious, we ordered the mai Thai mango cocktail. Thank you to Thaikhun for a fantastic evening!

Very nice Thai restaurant in Manchester with really authentic street food taste of Bangkok. Highly recommended the Pad Sew Ew and Tom Yum soup!

Speechless! I was given a free pad thai during freshers week back in September when I started my course at the University of Manchester. I have not looked back since. It has been a regular spot for date nights, bringing my family or for a food spot with friends. The staff are amazing and the service is flawless. The food!!!! Wow. the woks they use leave such a beautiful smoky flavour to the food that is truly unbeatable. Everything on that menu is absolutely amazing, I have not had a single dish that has been disappointing in any way. The desserts are a little boring except for the mango sticky rice. That is out of this world. It would be a crime to not eat at Thaikun during your visit to Manchester. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and somehow the food just makes it that much better !

Loved the experience! Great food and drinks. The servers were great and have fun personalities. It was quite packed when I came but didn't feel too overwhelming. They have menu deals too for those on a budget like me! Got 2 starters, main and mocktail for just £33 (as a londoner, this is a steal!). Do recommend coming in Christmas time while they have the winter menu option, it's good!

The food in Thaikhun was amazing. Very attentive and welcoming staff and quick service. My partner and I shared the pinto meal. It was £37 for both of us and we shared chicken Thai basil stir fry, beef street noodles, Thai red curry and jasmine rice. We also had the 2 for £12 watermelon margaritas. This place is not to be missed!

Food are too sweet, not traditional. Not spicy. Meat has wired taste. Tom yum soap is too sweet.

Had late dinner on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy. Chicken is halal so we had minced chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Both different to Chinese versions as its a Thai place! Pleased to see they have hot drinks. My son wanted the chocolate fudge cheesecake but sadly not available. Good portion sizes and service charge optional.

Tasty Thai food at a reasonable price range. Highly recommend ordering the Pinto Sharing Feast, which includes pad thai, green curry, jasmine rice and a stir-fried dish. Bowls look small but portions are actually huge enough for 3 to 4 people. Good value for money.

Above average Thai restaurant in Manchester! The chicken satay skewer is not satay enough for me, the sauces does make it better and more flavourful. But the skewer is wayyyy too dry, it is like overcooked chicken breast to me. Their papaya salad was spicy, very spicy! They mentioned on the menu that it is very spicy and not joking, but being an Asian like me, ofcoz i dont believe them! Every Asian Restaurant put chillies on their menu and I barely taste any! But this is the real deal, it is really hot! If you cant eat spicy food, dont order it, but if you can, this is the perfect salad for Thai food, delicious! The pork belly in the bbq rice tastes a bit like Chinese bbq pork belly, but crispy for the whole piece instead of just the skin, it almost tastes a bit chewy with the sauce, which I like! The sauce is amazing, love it with the rice! Last time i ordered Tom Yum but they dont serve it in the lil pot like they does this time, I really like the pot! I do wish the Tom Yum is more sour and spicy, it is a bit salty for me personally! And their beer is amazing, make sure to try them if you are over 18!!

Disappointed. Good Thai food is so easy to make, so why a bland green curry? Not enough fish sauce, cheap prawns and not much heat. £4.50 for rice… would be ok if the main act was amazing, which it was not. I would not come here again.

We came here after the restaurant we wanted was full. It was a great flavoursome dinner I had a virgin pina colada, sweetcorn cakes to start and the pineapple shrimp rice. All so tasty and flavoursome.

It's surprising to see all the staff greeting us in Thai, it adds value to the experience. Most of the decor was really nice apart from the artificial hanging plants in front , they look kinda cheap. Service was Great but not excellent as I expected to be asked why I didn't like my cocktail as I left full glass. Food was good enough, I can't compare the massaman curry which I had in Thailand as they cook curry for every base( vegan, non vegan) with vegetables in it differently. This one was like curry, vegetables and base added afterwards. Overall a good experience. Thank you for the friendly service again.

This is hands down my favourite restaurant in Manchester ♥️ The place itself is beautifully decorated, very themed so you feel like on holiday in Thailand. Food is amazing every time we visit. It’s fragrant, fresh and served with attention to details. Cocktails are great too! Menu is very diverse with plenty of choice, although I’m still sad that Jungle Curry got axed from it. Staff are alway super nice and the service is just great! Can’t wait to be back ♥️

Thaikhun is an amazing place, the presentation of the food is magnificent, the flavour is out the roof! The service was fantastic and the staff were swift, polite and attentive! The vibes and atmosphere was very peaceful and positive. The hygiene is standard, which is perfect, and I had a great time! Of course, there is room for improvement, but that can surely be fixed! There is parking available nearby which pleases me!

That one taste the same as we did in Thai. Curry chicken soup noodles is a bit salty, the prawn pineapple fried rice is palatable. Two adults and two kids spent £42.8 (after discount). Must go again!

Such a waste of money! I paid £41 for two with 2 soft drinks (refillable), not too much food choices! What a rip off!

Had a great meal here a few months back. Having spent some time in Thailand I can honestly say that the food here is amazing! The flavors and quality of the food are on par, if not better than in Thailand itself. The staff were excellent and very attentive. The menu is great value for both food and drinks. Would highly recommend you try this place.

Vegan friendly (has quite a few meals whithout meat) It came fast and the food was really good! One con I have is that I paid £4 for fried rice with eggs and it was only one small bowl of rice and a little bit of eggs inside. (Would recommend to go with normal rice)

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
