Hi, let me share an experience that made me feel bad about going to "I am Pho" restaurant. Today, I went to have a meal at the restaurant with my boyfriend. It was our second visit there. When I was placing my order, I showed the waiter a picture of the dish I had ordered last time and said, "I'll have these two." The waiter then asked, in an aggressive tone, which one I meant because they have multiple menu items that sound similar. I was taken aback by why they had to use that tone, especially since I wasn't sure of the actual names of the dishes since they weren't in my language. If the waiter meant that they have different variations meat of the menu to choose from, they should have asked me politely instead of using that aggressive tone. I felt really disappointed. Customers pay money to eat at your restaurant. I don't expect exceptional service, but at least not an encounter like the one I experienced today. I quite enjoy the food here, which is why I'm writing this today, hoping that other customers won't have to go through the same thing I did.

Simply the best we've had in this and surrounding areas. We had pho, spicey beef and pork and a sandwich. Loved every single one. We will come back as often as we can make it from Bolton. This is even better than our go to places back home. Loved it. Food was excellent. Staff was awesome.

Thumbs up for I am Pho. Appreciate how they make the dishes looking properly plated, taste pretty good, Have to shout out for this, The soup for the rice vermicelli and thick noodles is very delicious and even better than we expected it would be. The food tastes very well, and freshly made. Overall, We enjoy the time being.

Best Pho in Manchester, one of the best that I’ve had around the world so far in my travels! (experienced nearly 100 phos across the world). The food is very fairly priced, quick service and tasted amazing.

Spicy fish sauce chicken wings were some of the best we've ever had. Pho broth is delicious, Summer rolls fresh as you'd like and the bbq pork also top tier.

Went around 3 on a Saturday it was pretty busy. That being said the service was interesting to say the least! However the food was great for value and good option to pick in a rush. Just make sure to grab a server and not a customer/dinner :)

Food is just healthy style so a bit bland for some ramen. But nice. I enjoyed it. Chicken salad Ga is nice and prawn pancakes. But i wish prawns were not halfed... Tables can be cleaner. It was a bit dirty being marble top... It was sticky. Waiters were friendly and helpful. No check up after serving food. Probably short staffed

10 pound for a bowl of beef Pho. Acceptable broth but beef over cooked. Not too bad but will only visit once. Waiter is nice anyway.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and decor, and really welcoming staff. Be sure to get the Nem Cuon Tom (Number 10 on the menu) for starters - they were so good! The food was really flavoursome and was plated very well too, I’d definitely recommend trying this place out.

Fantastic cooking and efficient service at this down-to-earth Vietnamese restaurant in a basement in Manchester's Chinatown. Always busy which says it all. The salads here are especially gorgeous. I also like the decor with the cherry blossom tree! One point deducted for atmosphere only because I tend to find it too noisy to have a relaxed conversation.

The food is so good with big portions, the dipping sauce for the fresh spring rolls is just a bit too sweet. The staffs are so friendly and attentive. What we love is that they serve also the fried frogs! That’s dope!

I’ve been going here for years and I’m surprised I haven’t written a review yet. As my favourite spot in Manchester, I’m a regular goer - and I’ve never been let down! I’ve taken several friends here and all have ended up taking their own friends and family. Expect lovely food, great service and I highly recommend the raw beef pho.

The broth of the Pho was really quite tasty, better than expected. Wished there'd be a bit more meat though. The vietnamese spring roll was alright. Overall, I did enjoy my lunch. Definitely worth another visit.

Been here a couple of times and I’d say it’s pretty good. Located in china town it’s quite convenient to get to. Decent prices and the pho tastes good. Nicely decorated atmosphere. Would recommend.

Can absolutely recommend! Great food, very nice staff and pretty decorations. The vegetarian bun bo hue and summer rolls were so delicious! The portions were big, almost too big for me though, but can’t complain. The food came quickly and was very authentic. you could tell it’s a good restaurant, because many locals were there. You definitely should give it a go!

The food here was pretty good! Went with 2 others so we had some sides too and shared. The most disappointing thing was telling the waiter about being pescatarian and asking for prawn summer rolls but then being served pork ones. Took eating one to realise.. they brought out prawn ones afterwards but it kind of ruined the experience for me

This food really hit the spot after a long train ride on a rainy day. Service was quick and efficient, food came pretty fast after ordering. The pho was super delicious, salad was very refreshing and flavorful. Price was very reasonable too.

this restaurant is perfect for a family or friend get together, they have lots of seating and delicious food. i appreciate that their menu is relatively short, they know what they’re good at and they don’t complicate it. great vegan options, this was the perfect thing for a cold day.

Quick service - average taste - slightly overrated We ordered the mix meat pho and the dry noodle with beef. The order came in no time as it wasn’t very crowded around noon time. Tasted worst but good enough if compared to other Vietnamese restaurant in the uk.

A fair price for Viet food. 🍽 Service: fast, friendly staff. 🥣 Food: the soup (pho) lacks layers of flavour. Was a bit disappointed. ✨️ Location: in a cellar of Chinatown, close to city centre. It's popular during dining hours, 5-10 minutes wait for dine in.

“Bun rieu cua” is so delicious. I do not expect that the bowl was big like that. The price is really suitable and one more time, the food is really good!!!!!!

The Pho broth was super yummy, way better than I thought! Just wished there was more meat. The wings were amazing!!!!! Overall, I really liked my lunch. I'll definitely come back again.

I recently visited "I Am Pho" and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant is an authentic Vietnamese spot, with affordable prices and huge portions of delicious "Pho Bo Tai" (thinly sliced raw beef cooked in its own broth) I was also impressed by their "Nem Cuon Tom" (summer rolls with prawns) - they were delicious and packed with flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great - they played great hip-hop, pop music, which gave the place a fun and lively vibe. Overall, I highly recommend "I Am Pho" for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Vietnamese dining experience.

Had dinner with friends and they recommended this place. Big portion at a reasonable price. I didn't order pho but Bun Cha Gio (Cha nem) at £8 which I have had it before elsewhere. It's hard not to compare but here the dish was fairly basic and simple. The flavour was primarily from the fish dipping sauce which I poured over the noodle and salad. The spring rolls were nice too. However, there wasn't a wow factor in it. I still liked it though. Would come again for their proper pho next time.

Been twice, going back 3rd time. The real Vietnamese deal, must be doing something wright , majority of diners are Asian. Particularly love the Pho.

As a fellow vietnamese, this is most authentic restaurant in Manchester. Don't bother going anywhere else. This is proper home comfort food you would get from any viet household.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
