When we arrived the first thing that caught my attention was the DJ. It was a nice surprise to see that the restaurant put in extra effort and paying for a DJ to play nice background music! The design of the place is fantastic and it is also very clean! Food: super tasty! Service: average, but the manager apologised for that. It does seem like it is important for them to give the best service! I would go back and I recommend to visit!

Everything was perfect. The food, the vibe and the service. We stood at the reception longer that I think it's commonly accepted before we were greeted but everything after that made up for it. Food was amazing. Thank you x

Lovely Restaurant, great ambience with great music. You have to make reservations way in advance because Albert's usually packed weekends. The Prawn Linguine was delicious, very generous number of fresh prawns. I would highly recommend this. The beef roast on the other hand had two "extra thin" slices that could have just been one slice. It was a tad too salty as well. The Sticky Toffee pudding was divine!!!! Never had one so good. Free parking on weekends.

We were looking for a place to have lunch after our appointment at spire hospital, so we decided to stop at Albert's as we were driving by. What a beautiful place, they could accommodate us for lunch even if the restaurant was busy. Nice decorations and big sitting area outside. The service was perfect, out waiting was very nice and professional. We had the bruschetta and the gnocchi, very yummy, I would have been happier with a bigger portion. Pizza and fish and ships for our mains. To be honest, its been a while since I didn't have such a good fish and chips, was really impressed. They even had me more impressed with a vegan ice cream as my son is allergic to the lactose. Thanx a lot for looking after us, definitely recommand and be back after my next appointment at the hospital.

Very nice, cozy and fancy environment. Good service, nice and polite staff. Very few vegan options. I ordered the Artichoke & Truffle Ravioli, very interesting dish, but it was tasteless (needed salt) and very small (only 5 pieces). Dessert (some kind of dark chocolate and orange tart) was good. Wine menu doesn’t specify the vegan options.

Great venue for date night. The spacious restaurant combines a cocktail bar, outdoor covered seating (with heaters) and a swanky atmosphere. The menu includes gastropub classics and pizzas, all tasty. The chicken is beautifully cooked and the cocktails expertly mixed. Staff are polite and helpful in the choices. The chocolate volcano cake was the only disappointment (extremely chocolaty but it didn't taste fresh). This is a great venue none the less, though it is reflected in the price.

Third time coming here and I must admit I was not impressed. The food was lovely, there was no issue for me. (My friend however, found a hair under her pizza). I was disappointed with the service. It took way too long to order our food and then to get a card machine to pay. I don't feel like I would come again as the last two experiences we had were great.

Beautiful place with amazing food. Enjoyed starters and mains but surprisingly filling and didn’t manage a dessert! Lovely post Valentine’s Day rush meal out!

Absolutely loved the starter, I had Rabbit gnocchi...melts in the mouth and very filling. The main dish, I had stuffed chicken with cream sauce potatoes and green peas. Quite tasty and good and filling. The dessert was chocolate volcano...I did not like that the chocolate cake was hot so I didn't eat it had only the ice cream. The mock tail was lovely too. Lovely meal and place. Would definitely revisit and recommend. Lovely staff too. Good value for 30£ food.

Had lunch here on Bank Holiday Sunday and was impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. There was a live band playing which set a great atmosphere! It's got its own car park on site which is massively convenient espically with kids and its located only a 5 mins drive from the M60. Service was brill throughout, very professional and friendly. Food was of good portion and high quality, even our toddler ate all her fish and chips. Their local lager has a fragrance and dry fizz to it like an IPA which I also liked. I'll be back and would definitely recommend it.

We had a delicious early dinner here midweek. Outstanding food and excellent attentive service. The decor is beautiful. I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection and came with a salad with a very generous serving of the freshest tasting dressing.

First time eating here, went for friends birthday. Staff lovely and the place has a lovely feel to it. Busy even on a Thursday. Would have liked mushrooms with steak, which was cooked well hence 4 stars, but basically steak and a few chips. I don't like steak with sauce if cooked right sauce not needed, got a little jug with some in, was not asked if I want sauce and I did not ask for it, so glad it was not all over steak. Would recommend and definitely go again. Hard to find somewhere that cooks steak well. We all had steak and all were cooked as requested and not chewy or tough. Clearly a good chef here.

Wanted to treat my mum to a nice meal so took her to Albert’s in Didsbury. On arrival we were ignored by a very nervous looking waiter and my mum thought he was very rude. However we were quickly greeted by the hostess who sat us in the bar while our table was cleared. While in the bar we had some drinks, I had a lovely hazelnut latte and my mum had a pomegranate mocktail. Both were great. We were shown to our table and greeted by our server Mike. Mike was very friendly and helpful. The table was perfect, near the pass. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and was lovely and warm! Many restaurants seem to be quite cold so I was happy to be so cosy. We shared the Lamb croquette as a starter. I thought it was beautifully presented and tasted nice but was missing some piquancy. Perhaps some lemon juice in the cauli puree? Next I had the steak frites with peppercorn sauce. The steak was good, slightly over for my taste but still delicious. I ate the whole thing! My mum had the chicken pappardelle which was also delicious. Very happy with the mains. For dessert I had the mini frangipani tart. It was mini! Tbf it was the perfect size for my appetite, I don’t think I could have managed anything larger! It was absolutely delicious. My mum had the orange chocolate cheesecake, also very very good! Overall a great visit and my mum loved it, which is the main thing. Recommend for a nice lunch/dinner

Okay! So lovely staff, the server Carlos is just gorgeous! Food however is a little on the average side for a higher end place. Like everything is okay, but nothing is that special or blows your mind flavour wise. Had a duck salad and felt as though it needed more duck as well. But a perfect place to come if someone in your party needs wheelchair access and lovely ambiance with the fairy lights!

Found this restaurant on way from airport We thought it look really fancy but when we went in found it was really nice and pleasant family place. The staff were amazing especially Mike, looked after us without being to intrusive. Ensured that we knew what menu's were available at the time ( around 6pm ). Drinks came quickly as we decided what food we wanted and order taken at same time. We chose 3 course meal deal and we were not disappointed. The food was better than we expected for the cost. Ordered coffee and Mike said he would serve with deserts to give us a breather. The bill includes a 10% discretionary charge but would not complain if it was 15% as the service was excellent. If you are looking for a restaurant in didsbury this is your place to go. We now know where it is if we are in the area. Thanks Albert's for a great meal.

Lovely and cozy place for a meal! Tried their winter menu and it did not disappoint. Our team celebrated our Christmas dinner here and we went home stuffed. Great portion and food was lovely! The staff were attentive and amazing as well.

Food was good, starters rather small. It's the service that let's the experience down. Manager on reception not interested, host walked us to the table in silence, dropped menus down and walked off. Lady looking after us was good but lack of attention to details. No one asked us if we want another drink, had to stop another waiter. Check back rather robotic. Managers walking around not interested in their customers. Whilst nothing was wrong, it was ok visit. Was it s value for money? Probably not.

lovely atmosphere and great staff. the food was nice but all slightly off: - the rabbit and creamy mushroom gnocchi was too salty - the miso scallops were very bland which is very surprising as miso is meant to be a strong flavour - the chips were TERRIBLE (see photo) they were so overdone and rock hard however the waiter rectified this immediately and brought us fresh chips. overall a good experience as its a nice atmosphere and staff are so friendly. I would recommend the dauphinoise potatoes and not the chips!

Had to wait 30+ minutes past our reservation and considering we had a table of 15, you'd have thought they would be better organized.. service and food was amazing though .. hence not a 5 star review

Went for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. All the food was delicious, service was amazing and the decore was very nice. Only slight downside is that the tables are packed very closely together and it felt a bit cramp, but that didn't distract from the great meal we had there.

We went to Albert’s on a Friday night with family. The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. It’s a very family friendly place as well and kids are really well looked after. We came away delighted with the service and warm welcome.

Service is the best part of Alberts so let’s start with that. The food is generally good, but unremarkable, drink are good but expensive and although expected, my experience wasn’t worth the cost personally. The ambience, food, service does however bode above average so still worth an experience though so I recommend this place Enjoy if you do go

I recently visited Albert's in Didsbury for my anniversary and the place was nicely decorated and full of people despite of being a Wednesday! Great atmosphere, lovely homemade food with great taste from local market! Our waiter Michael was absolutely amazing and made our dinner a very pleasant one. We will definitely be back.

We went as a party of 6 for an evening meal in one of the booths on a Friday night, having been several times over the years. Our starters were great, the wine was good - we had the Gavi - but the mains were disappointing and a bit of a mess: We ordered three pizzas, all of which had the mozzarella replaced with cheddar cheese; nobody advised us this would happen at the point of ordering, the food being served or at any point after - it was only when we queried with the kitchen that it became clear. The dishes were removed from the bill and staff handled it well, once told by the kitchen, but had we known, we’d have ordered and enjoyed three dishes with their intended ingredients.

We booked a table for 7 people for my son's 21st birthday. Food was great. The place looks fantastic inside. But the main plus point was the service. Especially a waitress named Ally. She couldn't do enough for us and even brought a complimentary slice of birthday cake for our son at the end. Nice touch. Highly recommended.

Even though fully booked they managed to squeeze us into the bar for dinner. Not the full menu but still a great Sunday dinner and starter. Made a mistake on the ordering of all together but the manager Nick was really accommodating and sorted everything out. Amazing service. Will definitely be back.

I always considerd this place somewhere nice to go, but I ended up having a very disappointing experience. Firstly the place didn't feel very well maintained, around the Air-conditioning vents was black with dirt. The food came out very fast, which was suspicious and the quality was also not great. I ordered croquettes to start, £9 for a single soggy croquet, very disappointed. I was happy to pay £9 for a starter but what arrived was not good value at all for the quality. The main course arrived as soon as we put the starter cutlery down, this was better but not that memorial. As we had been rushed through out first two courses we didn't want desert but then spent 20 mins trying to get the bill. Then came time to pay, and I was shocked a place like this didn't accept American Express. Overall not a great experience

Had lunch with three friends. Main course was good. Waited 3/4 of an hour having waved the menu to attract staff to take our dessert and coffee order. When a waitress arrived we said how long we had waited. There was no apology just "we are busy". I have been in the past when the restaurant has been full but service not a problem. Today only half full. Our coffees arrived but no sign of dessert. We asked for the bill and cancelled desert. Still no apology. Certainly will not be recommending this restaurant.

Came here for a quick lunch on Friday. Food delicious. Would be helpful to have out the lunch time menu. What was the lunch time menu looked like the drinks menu. Service was attentive, atmosphere was pretty good.

I had a lovely lunch with these two old friends. As you can see fabulous weather, so ee sat outside. We had a lovely young Irish waitress, who was very friendly, she looked after us very well. We chose off the lunchtime menu, which was 2 courses for £14.99. There was a goid selection, and we all went for pizza. Lots of choice with those, too. Deserts were delicious. So we all had a really nice afternoon. We have been before. But yes, a lovely place to eat, great food and service. And all for a very good price. What more could 3 old gals want on a Thursday afternoon ? Many thanks, we will return.

Had such a good night for my birthday celebrating the evening at Alberts, the lady on the front desk was amazing, so helpful and attentive, bar staff where lovely and assisted us in using the menus correctly and our waitress Anya was brilliant, no question unanswered and no query unsolved. I would highly recommend this restaurant to people whether it be to celebrate an occasion or just to go out for a really nice meal. Thank you to all the Staff at Albert's!!!

The food is home cooked, hot and tastes really nice. Been here a few times now, I would recommend the chicken thigh with root veg/ dalphasie potatoes with cheese and chive sauce (that’s if the menus not changed) and I do love there Sunday roast with red whine sauce. Little bit pricey but the food is good so you can’t complain.

Went for a nice meal here with family and had a pleasant time. The menu was great but execution perhaps not quite what it could be. I had a pear and goats cheese salad as a starter that was very nice. For a main I had a Goan spiced Sea Bream. This was very tasty with a nice fruity, spicy sauce. I didn't feel the chat bomb added a lot to the meal and would have rather had a single flatbread rather than the two tiny ones which felt a little dry. One of the party had the slow roasted pulled beef and roasted hispi cabbage with truffle oil. The beef was good but the cabbage was not at all crispy and a bit oily.
