Not impressed at all. Pastas tasted ok but not specially good, portion small. Pizza normal. We also had the tuna steak, two pieces: one cooked too well and became dry and tasted like wood, the other piece was redder. Seemed like one was cooked before hand.

A good restaurant, but the portion size and taste of the food depends heavily on the chef working on a particular day. It was very noisy on our last visit. In general, you can visit, especially when 50% discount on food.

Absolutely spot on experience. Great service, great food! We were served by Irene who was very nice. We ordered, parsley Gusto Petals, Vegan Meatballs, Fettuccine Ragu and two sides of skins on fries. Everything was very tasty, we wanted the herb and sage roast potatoes but they had ran out (they were so nice at the Alderley Edge) The table was nice we sat at and the toilets were also clean. Great location and lovely inside and out!

I have to say after my first ever visit what an outstanding restaurant. Food is excellent and the service!! Impeccable. Maria was an absolute joy who went out of her way to make it an incredible experience; as did all the other staff. I got engaged and had a 4 string quartet, and they accommodated everything. The manager was lovely and he chipped in with the surprises. Truly magnificent meal with fabulous staff. I will be going back - and so should you!!

I would say that is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything was so good, starting with the food and ending with the staff. It was a pleasure to be in your restaurant. I would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone that wants to have a good time and excellent food and service.

The service is superb … thanks to our waiter ,Irene, she was amazing … Food is delicious,,, Carbonara is the best in Manchester. Pizza is Waow. Especially the truffle pizza .

Food is lovely. Cocktails are well priced and presented. But service really let it down. We were seated next to the kitchen. We were served our mains and were missing a culterly set so intern requested a set just for the waitress to disappear. We then spent the next 5 minutes trying to get the attention of the waiters and waitresses at the Service area who where to busy playing tic tac toe and talking. Then This happened again when we were served hot desserts at the time . Again asked for culterly, but for all 6 of us to be looking around calling waiters and waitresses for the next 10 minutes trying to get a hold of the mass amount of staff stood talking. Service charge of 12.5% = £27 This Really rubbed it in . I'd expect a service charge from a restaurant with a personal waiter. Not this As it was a birthday we did not want to kick up a fuss and ruin the occasion. I do not normally post reviews like this but thought this restaurant needs to sort it out before more reviews like this appear. as it has lovely food.

Food was good, staff was friendly and atmosphere was really nice. Diverse options on the menu, including gluten-free! However, we found the main portions to be extremely small, and we left a bit unsatisfied. We ordered the same dessert and got wildly different sized portions (as you can see by the brownie in the picture)

We visited Gusto last night for dinner. Great restaurant and very delicious food. The service was top notch, all staff were lovely but special mention to our server Olivia who was absolutely brilliant. Professional, good attention to detail and very friendly, she made us feel welcome, as it was our first visit to Gusto and Manchester. I highly recommend Gusto and you’re extra lucky if Olivia is your server. Left a nice tip but as we didn’t have cash it shared. Gusto is definitely five stars! Thanks Olivia! You’re a star ⭐️. Went for a lovely graduation dinner with some close family members and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy and overall a really nice vibe. There were plenty of veggie options as most of or table was either vegetarian or pescatarian, and the staff was very helpful and attentive when it came to my peanut allergy - they brought a tablet with the entire allergen menu, a manager took my order separately from the rest to ensure that it went through to the kitchen as an allergy order, I was reassured that my food was prepared in a special dedicated area in the kitchen to avoid as much cross contamination as possible, and my food was then brought to me by the same manager that had taken my order and it even had a little flag that said 'allergy' to ensure that mine didn't get mixed up with someone else's. I even got a special desert that said 'congratulations' on it as the restaurant was aware that we were celebrating my graduation, which was a very sweet touch. So overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend!!

Visited here 1.5 yes ago and then again in on 16/8/23. Brushetta was not toasted therefore cold and tasted bland. I had spaghetti carbonara that was just not nice no flavour. I complained and wasn't charged the rest of my family's food was just ok can't go wrong with a pizza. Son had meatballs and spaghetti never ate much either.

I attended an event hosted by Springboard at this restaurant on two occasions, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. While I may not have been a direct client of this restaurant, I was served food and water in disgustingly filthy dishes and glassware, with noticeable stains and residue. The overall lack of hygiene left me questioning the cleanliness of the establishment. Regrettably, after my first visit, I fell ill with an upset stomach for most of the week. Although I cannot definitively link it to the food here, the timing raises suspicions. This experience has diminished my initial optimism for this restaurant as a potential dining option in the future.

Beautiful restaurant, with perfectly cooked food. (Duck, Lasagna, Arribatta, Scallops) Service was perfect, food was brought out on time, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend to come here for Italian cuisine.

Visited as part of a large group. We had a whole section of the restaurant and hung out at the bar beforehand. Staff were very helpful, even though we were a big group and it was quite busy. Food was good and a reasonable price for what was on offer. Overall a good evening

Wonderful restaurant. Service very attentive and friendly. Excellent food, including extensive gluten free options. Had the mushroom tagliatelle which was very tasty. Rissotto was also excellent. Carnivaro pizza was a hit for the boy. Prices very reasonable. Very nice vibe to the whole place.

We chose this restaurant for it's meat free and vegan options, and it did not disappoint. The food was very tasty, good sized portions, and a great example of how plant based cooking can be creative. Ideal for parties with mixed menu needs, the atmosphere was lively without being too noisy to spoil the intimacy. Service was excellent, will eat there again.

I booked a work’s Christmas party for 11 people for Sat 16/12/23. From the start of everything I had impeccable service from Jenny. Nothing was too much trouble and contact with myself was always maintained. Due to various issues, 2 people from the party dropped out last minute but that was no problem at all for Jenny. As for the evening itself, we genuinely felt like royalty the way we were treated by not just Jenny, but out incredible waitress, Aoife (think that’s her name but she’s in the attached picture!) She was the most attentive and polite waitress I’ve had serve me in a long long time, a true asset to Gusto. Thank you! The food itself was exceptional. Perfect timing between courses and despite us having to pre-order with it being a group of over 7, nothing was wrong which is a refreshing change when you have big tables! All in all, it was a fantastic evening made by amazing food and the best staff around. Thank you so much and see you in January and Christmas next year!

A great night, plenty of vegan options. The food was delicious, not normally a three course person but we couldn’t resist the deserts. Had an amazing tomato and herb pizza followed by Jerusalem Artichoke & Truffle Ravioli. The vegan biscoff cheesecake was so good. The service was great.

My friends and I were looking for an Italian restaurant to have dine in on short notice. I am glad that we stumbled on it and that there was space for a large party to have dinner. The staff welcomed us and got us a table to fit the party, and our server for the night was amiable and polite. Our orders were taken swiftly as the server demonstrated his expert knowledge of the menu. His recommendations, when requested, were great and he provided excellent service throughout the evening, making sure that all our needs were met without being intrusive. The menu featured a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic pasta and pizza to seafood and meat options. I had the Honey-Glazed Duck & Balsamic as a main and the table shared a Fresh Baked Garlic Pizza Bread for a starter. Each ingredient was fresh and flavorful. My dining companions also thoroughly enjoyed their choices. One aspect that stood out to me was the dedication to catering to dietary preferences and restrictions. The menu clearly indicated vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The dessert menu at Gusto Italian was equally impressive. I had three scoops of Italian Gelato Ice Cream for dessert - salted caramel and vanilla - which was delicious. This provided a delightful ending to my meal. I am also glad that the restaurant was not busy during our visit as that gave us a chance to talk comfortably. While the menu prices were on the higher side the quality of the food and service were great. Gusto Italian in Manchester offers a delightful Italian dining experience in an elegant setting. It's an ideal choice for both casual dinners and special occasions.

10/10 everything… got served within 5 minutes of sitting down ordered our food and it came about 10 mins later piping hot , prices are extemely good for the quality of the food me and my bf are so happy and will be coming back:) workers also incredibly helpful and kind!

Fantastic tasting food, each mouth full was a delight, but for 144 pound with a 16 pound service charge placed on without asking it should be ; hence 4 stars overall.

The atmosphere is gorgeous, with the large bar parked in the middle of the room. It is a noise atmosphere (we were the noisy ones this time, sorry 😅), and the staff were very friendly and joked around with us. The food was delicious, although the pasta was a little undercooked. The pizzas and the starters were very good. Would definitely recommend dining here.

Excellent food and service. Steak was cooked perfectly, we asked for medium rare. However, a very noisy environment, i would say this is definitely more of a social space to eat. Definitely recommend if you love Italian cuisine!

The pasta and garlic pizza bread were okay. The sea bass was really nice. The price is reasonable. Service was good. I quite like the interior as well, despite the sofa being quite old and full of stains. Overall an okay experience, just not super impressed.

Arrived and got some drinks on a Friday evening with friends and shown to our table. So far so good. We ordered food, £15 for a dry burger and a few chips, a tad overpriced in my opinion. One of the male waiters brought the food over but he came across almost like he didn't care. Impatient and rude. However our female waitress was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and a good vibe.

It's really good, the food, the vibe. I had a spaghetti dish and you can feel that the noodle is nothing like those you ate at home or found in some average restaurant.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was great, had the pizza, everyone enjoyed the meal. One of our group was celebrating her 60th and she had her dessert on a wooden platter with happy birthday on it, the waiters also sang happy birthday which added to the fun.

Nice atmosphere and food. We ordered a Chateaubriand to share which was best served medium rare as per menu. It was a shame that the meat was presented as medium-well done, definitely not medium-rare. I'd go again in the future, but I would probably order something else, the starter was enjoyable though.

Me and my now wife had our wedding reception their. They have a function room with for 12 people which we had. They allowed us to decorate with our own decorations. It was great.

Went here for a works event and the food was amazing. For the start I had prawns. My main got mixed up with another member of the team and even though I was disappointed I didn't get to try the duck because it looked delicious the staff where so helpful and arranged for a pizza to be made (pizza my favourite food so was even happier). For desert I had the gelato which again was really good. But the tiramisu looked even better. We did get told to keep the noise down because we got a bit excited during our awards part of the night but the staff where really respect and overall had a great experience.

The vegan options are amazing, the dough petals and orzotto dish in particular were stunning. Thank you Maria who made our night that little bit more special

I had a lovely friends birthday meal. Place looks nice and has own atmosphere. My duck was so tasty. It was busy at the restaurant but our waitress was lovely and attentive. Highly recommend 😊👌
