Incredible experience - the seekh kebabs were the best we've had, the Madras and Karahi were perfect and the naan bread is to die for. We went for garlic naan as well as peshwari naan - delicious! The staff are very welcoming and attentive 😁

An unplanned visit turned a cold Saturday February night into a pleasent evening. The place was empty when we arrived at 5.30 but soon filled up and by 7 the place was almost full. Modern decor with a waterfall water feature mounted on the back wall. We had a simple starter of popadoms, my partner and I weren't too keen on the relishes, cabbage but no lime pickle or traditional mango chutney however the vegetable samosas were lovely. The main course, chicken Rogan Josh was fresh and tasty, not too hot and with plenty of depth of flavour. Good qualty chicken too. We would of preferred real cooked chips to the frozen French fries. The pillau rice was tasty and plentiful. A clean welcoming friendly Indian modern style restaurant at very affordable prices. The meal including 2 pints of Cobra came to just £31.00.

The karahi chicken, I asked for it Asian style. It was far from that. Very sweet, no coriander chillis, ginger. Tasted like a korma. The biryani was bland overcooked prawns and stingy with the prawns. Avoid this place if your looking for authentic Indian food. Worst takeaway I've had. Can't believe it's a restaurant!!!

Lamb Balti and the naan were nice and flavoursome, but the rest of the food was absolutely shocking. Tikka Masala was just a tub of red food colouring mixed with sugar and pilau rice was tasteless, no difference from regular rice, so not sure what made it pilau- the coloured bits? What's up with all the colouring? Ordered as the place has great reviews, but I don't really know why...

Ordered lamb biryani and tandoori prawns curry. The food tasted horrible. The prawns curry tasted like sweet dish while lamb biryani tasted like pulav and was drenched in oil. Instructions to make it spicy were given but the curries tasted so pathetic. What a disappointment!

Delicious food... I ordered chicken korma, mix grill starter , nann, chips, meat samosa, plenty of it. Everything came hot & packed well, delivery time was on point, food was delicious the delivery driver was friendly and polite 10/10 thank you so much , Bridget Jabar

Staff is good, you can purchase alcohol from outside and you can have it there aswell that's a good advantage. Food is absolutely fine.

We love it here! I think we come once a month on average. Great service, food is always perfect (lamb tikka jalfrezi in particular!) and it's BYOB which means it's great for a date or a bigger event like a birthday. Prices are really reasonable too and the ambience is lovely. Can't fault it. See you again soon Moon :)

Went last week to the moon. Normally fantastic, service poor food did not arrive ordered 1 portion of onion bajis which states four only got three! Queried this to be told they were bigger which were just a bit bigger than a marble. I insisted on the other one which was just slammed in the table. Ordered two rice a garlic Nan chicken Sizler with two different sauces. No one cared just took the rice of bill. Sad to see a good restaurant go down hill.

Super good chicken karahi, prices not too bad either. Staff are really friendly and service is also of a good standard. Was surprised by this place as its honestly better than some of the places on curry mile.

Lovely food, fast service, reasonable prices and our server was really nice. Being able to bring your own drinks is a bonus, would recommend!

Food was okay , nothing to complain about also nothing to rave about . The two star come from a very inappropriate waiter who whilst I was out for a family meal kept trying to have conversation with me and interrupting our conversation with it being a small venue he was quiet clearly stood listening to our conversations .

Myself and my wife have just had an amazing meal at "The Moon" in withington. We have not been for years due to moving out of the area but we are pleased to say that the standard/quality of food is as high as ever. Excellent and affordable place.

New to the area - ordered takeaway for collection - all really great, fresh, and flavoursome. Staff were all really lovely and easy going too. Nice experience. Looking forward to eating in in the future. Definitely gonna be my go to local !

Attended as part of a 60th birthday celebration, service was very good. Neither too intrusive or lacking. And no mistakes were made with orders which was appreciated. My main wasn't what I was expecting in terms of how it was served. But everything I had was tasty and of good quality. Also You can take your own alcohol in ( the bar is a dry one) which is handy for keeping your bill down, so my meal turned out to be very affordable. Overall very happy.

Absolutely fantastic little restaurant. We've had our first meal here tonight and we think it will become our new local favourite. Already checking the calendar to see when we can go back and bring the family. Thanks again for the lovely food and excellent service.
