Had a fantastic time here. Cannot fault it. Bit expensive but the food was very nice. The staff were all very nice and took good care of us. I've been here a few times and would definitely recommend this place. We will be back thanks again

Best Chinese I've ever had. So many amazing vegan options that are clearly shown by the green card they can provide. Everything was super delicious. The service was impeccable, quick and very attentive (replacing dropped chopstick and water without asking). I've never been this impressed by a restaurant.

I started reading the reviews after booking my table and was a bit put off by the negative ones, but still decided to go with the family and… we loved it. The staff were extremely professional and proactive. We were asked if we wanted to be moved to a different table because there was another party who were a bit louder than us - we didn’t mind, so we stayed within the original setup, but it was very nice of them to even suggest that should we prefer a quiet corner instead. I had the best crispy duck so far. Can’t wait to be back 😋

Food was slightly under Average service was pretty slow. My dish was the bbq duck with honey and lemon the duck was deep fried and pretty dry. The lemon sauce was so overpowering I tasted no honey..my plate was a bath of lemon sauce it was just everywhere. My other half's main was decent certainly better than mine. Her sauce on the dish she had was lovely & our appetisers was OK to. I expected better from a city centre Chinese. I wouldn't go again.

Me and my friend found this place in search of a good and authentic Chinese food, to satisfy our craving for it. We were gratified as not only the food was temptingly tasty, but the ambience was also soothing. The staff was friendly and prompt. Noodles and tofu were good, but I liked Dim-sum the most, properly cooked full of flavors. It's a great place to enjoy appetizing Chinese cuisine with friends and family.

Wow! What a great find in Chinatown Manchester. Tucked downstairs from the street, this authentic Chinese restaurant serves up some seriously delicious food. We tried the crispy duck, sweet and sour chicken and the pork with black bean. All we’re super tasty. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and don’t know where to go. We went with our kids, and it was a hit with them too. The staff were very friendly and helpful!!

Loved the food. This photo doesn't do justice to be honest. Also couldn't get a photo of the dimsums as we devoured it soon as it arrived. Highly recommend you visit the place for some dimsums and chowmein among other delicacies.

Highly recommended! A fantastic place where both the food and dining atmosphere are perfect. I highly recommend coming here with friends for a meal (the crispy duck is a must-try!). I had an unforgettable experience here, and I'm grateful to the manager Luke, Cristin, and all the staff, including Piro and Michael, who were very friendly. Despite the boss having a temper, I appreciate this restaurant and everyone here. As for the food, I personally highly recommend the crispy duck, various dim sum dishes, Yangzhou fried rice, and deep-fried ice cream (if they still have it). I highly recommend coming here for a meal with family, friends, or your partner! As for me, I will definitely visit again.

Chrysanthemum buffet was the banquet we ordered. Brilliant table service including shredding of duck and filleting the fish. Staff were excellent and professional. All food was piping hot and tasted delicious. Not sure on the beef wrap as the middle course though. Good drinks selection. Big portions and option of fork or chopsticks. Only off-putting thing is the delivery drivers sitting in the doorway we thought it was closed at first. The restaurant was very busy all through our time there.

Like, I don't think there's any really good Chinese food in Manchester so this may be the best it gets, but this place just wasn't that good. However, it wasn't horrendous, but Chinese food could be better than this. Service was good though and place is nicely decorated.

Lovely restaurant tucked away we found to eat out, during a weekend away to Manchester. Food was lovely, service excellent, and reasonably priced for the ample portions. Would definitely recommend a try. Restaurant layout was cozy especially for a romantic meal for two. Tables were sectioned off, like a perspex cozy booth, loved our visit. Thank you guys will visit again if in the city! 🥂👏🏽

A great find in Chinatown! Down the stairs and led to a table with everyone else, it was quiet and only a handful of people. But seating us near each other helped build atmosphere. There was a long wait time to order but once the ball was rolling, things came pretty fast. Food was delicious, but not as good as other Chinese resteraunts in town. The duck in lemon and honey was delicious, but very very fatty (more so than usual for a duck dish). The food was on balace extremely delicious, hot, well seasoned and despite the complaint of fatty duck, delicious. A small annoyance, their Cola's are quite expensive for cola and come in very small thin glasses. It's quite a rip off of your money especially when the food is reasonable priced. Staff are very pleasant, but hard to flag down to place another order. There was a 20 minute wait from the mains being taken away and a desert menu given to us finally managing to get their attention to order said desert. Overall, if the staff were a bit more attentive, and they sorted out their pricing for soft drinks in comparison to the quantity of soft drink you get, it would easily be a 5* rating.

Service is quick but they delivered us the wrong dish at first. After we asked for our correct dish, the made it fast. Dimsum taste quite nice but I am not happy with the duck with sour and spicy sauce b/c the quantity of meat we have is so little.

Been coming back to this place for years and tonight was exceptionally good so had to give it 5*. 4 of us, two vegetarians and 2 carnivores, and we are like kings and queens. My daughter and I had the steamed bean curd rolled vegetables, mick duck pancakes, pal Choi, steamed rice, Szechuan chilli aubergine and vegetables in curry sauce.

This place feels like a hidden gem. There are kind employees and a good supervisor. So many vegetarian/vegan options and it's very clean and big inside. My partner and I popped in half an hour before closing and they happily served us, telling us not to rush and to take our time. The food was lovely, and the supervisor came up to serve us some rice. Really authentic Chinese food.

Always great! We called in for dim sum after a disastrous meal somewhere else and it always hits the spot. The lettuce wraps were delicious.

Delicious food, big portions. The stuff is amazingly helpful and smily. They even ask you to refill the tea for you. I found it luxury. Very clean and cosy place. I will come again for sure.

Went at just after 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon and there were very few people in. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. At lots of points they would check everything was good and ask if we wanted more drinks. The food was outstanding. Best Chinese restaurant in Manchester as far as I'm concerned. Recommend crispy duck in orange sauce with egg fried rice. Relatively cheap for what level of service and quality food you get.

Ridiculously overpriced.for what we ordered. (I was shocked) it was booked for us by a friend. Unlikely ever visit again. More like cafe style. Wanted you in and out as quickly as possible. Not particularly friendly staff, either. Food okay, not much flavour. Had much better Chinese meals elsewhere in Manchester.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! A great selection of vegetarian food which was the main thing which pulled me in to ordering from here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and modern inside and very Covid safe. The veggie dumplings in peppercorn sauce were delicious! I’ve never had dumplings before but after this, I will be ordering them from here again! Also ordered the Singapore noodles which were great! Thank you to Lester for looking after us on our visit! ☺️

Fantastic vegetarian options and delicious food. Attentive table service! I was happily in a food coma after here. Slightly on the more expensive side, but totally worth it.

An absolutely perfect meal from start to finish. Great dishes, great flavor, great prices and great dining area. One of the best authentic Chinese meals we have had while traveling. The prices are incredibly low for such high quality food.

regular customers here. last night, was somewhat disappointing…and i hate to say it but we won’t be returning. nearly £11 for a portion of salt & pepper ribs. we got five, yes five short ribs!!! mains arrived, these mainly consisted of chopped onion! hardly any meat at all. my partner ordered chicken in garlic and spicy sauce. it was a plateful of fried leeks! we ran out of fried rice, and noodles! normally we’re struggling to finish it, but we left hungry and quite annoyed. £160…and unimpressed!

Went for a dinner on 13th May 2023 at 8:30pm. Not too sure it was newly decorated; the restaurant looked pretty clean and fresh. The platter was nice, it’s pretty large, very tasty with good selection of different food, definitely one of my favorite starters had in restaurants. The main courses were well made too. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Only one thing, it was probably told by the manager, there was always some staff circling the tables over and over like sharks, probably saw them every minute or two. Once one plate emptied, it would be taken away by someone immediately. It might be the way they manage it, however I felt a little stressed and like they were trying to push everyone out as quickly as they can. Over all a very good experience. Will consider to return if go to Manchester again.

I was a bit put off by the bad reviews but it turned out to be a fantastic choice for a family day out. Dim sum (from a Cantonese point of view) is excellent and services are above average ( we know how Chinese restaurants could be in terms of services). Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to yum cha in n the China Town

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
