I was at this establishment on the 22nd of November 2021 and I can say without a shadow of a doubt - I had a wonderful time. Unfortunately I didn't get the names of the people who served me but they were all very professional and they're all serving with smiles and everything was fantastic! We ordered two burgers and two orders of onion rings. The second set rings took a little while to come out, but it was less than 2 minutes waiting so you no issues there. I would recommend sitting in or going to the take away option from this place as there is limited parking nearby. There are amenities available for people in scooters and wheelchairs. And there are vegan and vegetarian options available. Unfortunately ran out of the vegan ice cream, so they had to give me a regular milkshake. However it was not an issue for me. 10/10 would come here again.

So, after 20 minutes the food arrived. It was warm but certainly not hot. Lukewarm would be a fair description. The burgers were nothing to write home about and the fries were fries. They didn't have the bacon & cheese fries available which is strange considering that the burgers and bacon and cheese on, so ingredients were obviously in stock. Had to put my coat on as the restaurant was cold. And the grand finale was the bill... £54 quid! Absolutely extortionate. Needless to say, we won't be back!

Not good value for the money you spend. The burgers are reasonably priced but then with the price of the sides and drinks it very quickly adds up to an extortionate amount. The burgers we got were okay but they were lukewarm and very soggy so nothing to write home about. We got a sharing portion of loaded fries which tasted good but for the price the portion was stingy. Once given the food the staff never checked in on us again to see if we needed anything and was left quite a while so we had to seek them out to pay the bill.

Burgers, even the Vegan kind, at Byron We were told about Byron in Manchester (& yes it’s been there a while), but we hadn’t given it a try before. However, we were invited to try their new autumn menu which contained some interesting Vegan/ Veggie options, so we tried out their proper Veggie Burgers. It was really busy giving it a promising start, but that does mean you should expect a little wait. If you like your drinks chilled, it’s the place for you as the lovely staff provide you with ice-cold glasses. Our starters were; \Halloumi Fries (v) [£5.45] - Oh my, that smoky bbq sauce. It was absolutely delish, with it being rich, fiery and proper. The Halloumi fries were just as good and tasted completely fresh. This is highly recommended by us \Nachos (v) [£4.95] - A tower of goodness with the cheese at the bottom, so lift up and make it a messy meal The mains were made up of some Vegan delights; \Cali Cheese (vg) [£13.45] - Plant-based but it did not taste like a plant. It tasted very meat-like and tasted so good with the mustard and truffle cheese making it all gooey, the right kind of gooey. It’s a proper ‘meat’ burger for those that don’t want to eat meat. \Beetnik (vg) [£11.45] - Pink goodness with the beetroot falafel \Skin-on Fries (vg) [£3] - Nothing bad to say, it’s skin-on fries...delivers exactly what it is \Courgette Fries (v) [£4] - A little bit weird, with a lot more soft, wetness in the middle. Probably would have been a lot better in smaller pieces as the ends were really nice and crunchy And because we couldn’t resist, we had to try the; \Oreo Cheesecake [£5] - We rarely say no to dessert, and this was another of the same situations. It was chocolate at the bottom, layered with cream cheese and chocolate in the middles, then chocolate crumbles at the top and chocolate sauce drizzled. The base was a little hard but pure chocolate mmmmm Our bellies were full and we’re still talking about the meat-like Vegan Cali Cheese - might have to give it another shot to check it was as good as it was the first time Recommended for: Burgers, Smoky BBQ Sauce, Vegan burgers Service: Service Price: ££ Halal: Vegetarian

Dined in December 2021 on a Saturday night. Awful experience. Appears to be run by students and literally over half of the menu unavailable. I wouldn't mind as all restaurants are experiencing supply issues at the moment but they should tell you what they're out of when they seat you, not when you've set your mind on something. If we'd have known what they were out of we'd have gone somewhere else but they had already taken drinks orders and bought them over and we were in a rush to be somewhere. No vinegar available for the fries either! Sold us 'lager' for about £7 each which wasn't even a pint, and turned out it was nothing like lager. They didn't have a clue. Whilst we were eating, the waitress asked the couple next to us how they'd like their burgers cooked - our waitress didn't even ask us. The burgers were ok but the whole experience shocking - when we were about to pay the waitress asked how everything was and we said "well not very good to be honest." She just said "oh ok sorry" and held out the card machine. No attempt to even ask us what the problems were or offer for the manager to come over. Not being funny but most of the staff couldn't speak great English either - pretty important requirements for working in a restaurant I would thouht. Maybe we should have been more assertive but if a customer expresses dissatisfaction then good customer service is to address this. Has the facade of being a happy clappy place but not interested when there's a problem. It didn't even have the 'feel' of being a restaurant - more like a cramped roadside diner. Don't be taken in by the exterior. Seriously, we said afterwards we should have gone to Burger King across the road. Would have had the same quality of food (and probably everything on the menu we wanted) in a quieter environment at less than half of what we paid at this "establishment." Never again.

Really amazing place for burgers. Was first a bit hesitant about this as it’s a chain but it blew my expectations. I was so impressed with the service, atmosphere and quality of food. We went twice and ordered Byron burger, double bacon cheese and the c-Rex grilled. I also ordered the caramel milkshake, cheesy bacon fries, sweet potato fries and the chicken wings. They have an abundance of different kinds of sauces. Got the Siracusa mayo and blue cheese sauce. They were so delicious! Everything was so on point and I highly recommend this for a casual dinner or a date!

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Seated immediately upon arrival. The ordered some starter that arrived very quick. The burgers are fantastic. Sides are ok. Deserts are quite good. Would recommend the burgers

Was very disappointed after spending £11 on just a burger to receive an overcooked and dry chicken burger, no sides were included, so £4 on sweet potato fries, which were the only enjoyable part of my food. Mac and cheese balls were also burned and the outer coating of them was very tough and chewy so I had to pick the mac out of the batter. Milkshakes were good, and for £4 each are a normal price compared to similar burger restaurants. Overall I felt that spending about £15 for burger and chips, which was let down by the disappointing burger, which I'd have thought a burger restaurant would have got right. Maybe it was my mistake for ordering a fried chicken burger, but they shouldn't have unreliable food choices on their menu for that price.

The burgers are quite big, saucy and delicious, however the burgers don’t go with the chips and have to order separately as sides, which I would prefer if they have some meal options, they serve cold drinks like milkshakes, soft drinks, which is like an American diner. When I asked for a cup of coffee and found out they don’t serve hot drinks like tea and coffee which is a bit of disappointment. Anyway food is nice especially the onion rings which are surprisingly tasty. Waiter was polite and did the job well, I don’t mind to come back, and would recommend this place.

Really really enjoyed my meal here. Came with a friend for dinner and we were very pleased. Staff were lovely and made sure we were ok at all times. We each had a milkshake which was absolutely divine, and a generous portion. Then we started with chicken strips as they were out of halloumi and onions rings. The batter was lovely and crispy and you could tell that the chicken was really fresh. Followed that with our burgers and fries which unfortunately we couldn’t finish because the portions were so big (not a complaint by any means). Service was really quick and I couldn’t fault anything from the staff or the food we ate; just slightly disappointed we couldn’t try the onion rings or halloumi

You’re better off eating at five guys across the street for a similar price and much better food quality and service. In a Restaurant that was pretty much empty we had to wait 45 minutes for our burgers to arrive, which were of average quality at best. They charge Five Guys prices for a burger that is just marginally better than one from McDonalds. DO NOT get the Mac and Cheese, it is terrible. The flavour is distinctly off, there is almost no cheese flavour and the price is exorbitantly high for a tiny serving. Wings and fries were pretty good, not worth the 5 pounds each though.

The food was OK but I don't think it was worth 15 pound a burger, the pulled beef fries was a tiny portion for 8.50 and they had no battered chicken only grilled? They also had only cans of soft drinks which wouldn't usually bother me but all in all didn't have a great experience for the price of the food. My daughters food we ordered also ended up coming out about ten minutes after ours so we couldn't eat together. Don't think I will be coming back.

Excellent service and the cleanliness was good. Menu’s we’re digital because of covid. It wasn’t clear that you had to order a side with the burgers unless you just wanted a burger on its own. Food was average, burger was a very greasy for some reason. We had to wait over half an hour for it to arrive and we were one of the first to order before the restaurant got busy. Won’t be rushing back I’m afraid.

I visited Byron Saturday 18/09/21 around 18:40, the staff was very nice and after a small queue i get sit down, the menu due to covid you have to scan a W QR code on the table and see it on your phone and after they come to take your order, i ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with fries and buffalo wings, even until now everything is going good here is the reasons why i give three stars, first the service was very very slow i understand that was busy but i saw people that was in the queue with me left before i even get my food i think that it took almost a hour for me to get my food, second i ordered my meat medium and it came well done, third the wing we're very bland no spice wasn't crispy at all and fourth the bread it get soggy after 1 minute, if you eat your fries and sides before your burger you will not like to find that your bread is like that. I hope that the service time are better and the food quality as well in regular days but that was my experience

Stopped by here for food one mid week evening, it was quite busy but the friendly staff had no problem squeezing us in, the food was excellent, burger cooked perfectly, they even had gluten free burger buns available so I was able to have a proper meal rather just sides unlike other similar competitors near by. Although it was a busy tea time this didn’t impact the fantastic and attentive service we received from the staff. I’ll be back next time I’m in Manchester!

The burgers here are amazing. Went with a non-burger lover and she was very impressed. Really nice atmosphere and food served promptly.

Very tasty food, great service and the staff super friendly. And even I didn't ask for more, because the serving is big, they offer bottomless fries with the burger!! Totally recommend!

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
