Our favourite restaurant. Beautiful food, nice clean restaurant, excellent service and best of all the staff are amazing. Literally the best staff we have ever come across. They go above and beyond for you and are so friendly. We love going there, mainly because of the amazing staff, we always have a good chat and a laugh with them. Indish is always our go to place to eat. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. 5* and more!

Booked for christmas day about five weeks before Paid the deposit About a week before christmas day started getting text messages Ask me what we all wanted to order Which was a nightmare I said one christmas dinner for the child and seven indian dinners No Wanted to know exactly what we wanted Start and main & side Which was a nightmare and I couldn't believe it But I got there in the end My reservation was five o'clock of Christmas day Got there and it was absolutely hammered Sat down waiting for a table for about thirty minutes I will say the bar staff was excellent Then we got moved to a table One hour later the Starter his turned up was all OK Then an hour later The main courses Two of them was cold We got the wrong sides The right ones came over after eating the food No Organisation and and very Greed owners Taking too many bookings for christmas day All in all christmas day dinner at this place was hell on earth

I recently visited Indish, a restaurant located just outside the Manchester area, and my experience was certainly a unique one. Despite being an Indian restaurant, Indish presented a culinary journey with a subtle twist that deviated from the usual robust and bold flavors associated with traditional Indian dishes. The menu boasted a variety of dishes, and our choices reflected our anticipation for a true authentic Indian dining experience. However, some of the dishes seemed to hold back on the characteristic explosion of flavors that one might expect. It appeared as though the spices were toned down, creating a dining experience that deviated from the norm. Despite the subdued flavors, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was outstanding. The staff were not only attentive but also superb in guiding us through the menu and ensuring our needs were met. Their dedication added to the overall positive experience. The venue itself had an upmarket feel, with tasteful decor that enhanced the dining atmosphere. As someone who appreciates the vibrant and spicy nature of Indian cuisine, I couldn't help but feel that the flavors could be amplified. Given that I hail from the capital of Indian food in the North West of London, I may consider requesting the chef to elevate the spice levels a few notches during my next visit. It's an excellent establishment with potential for an even more authentic and robust Indian culinary experience. In conclusion, Indish offers a unique take on Indian cuisine, emphasising a more subdued flavor profile. The excellent service and upscale ambiance make it a notable dining destination. However, for those seeking a bolder and more authentic Indian taste, a polite request to the chef for an extra kick of spices might be in order.

Welcoming and friendly staff, decent looking place, not much parking but there are places to park nearby. I tried the chicken madras which was nice and spicy, portion of pilau rice was very small though, nice pudding and drinks. I would go again.

We normally leave happy but tonight not so much. Food tasted good as ever however on the colder side. One of orders wasn't bought out and out son had to wait awhile. The service was none existent for the last half of the meal. We had to actually go to the bar to request the bill. We will most likely try elsewhere next time.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years and the food used to be good but not any more . Had a reservation for 7pm part of a large party . Food was pre ordered from a set menu and whilst choices were rather limited that was understandable given the size of the party . We expected service to be smooth and efficient given that all food had been pre ordered well in advance of the date. However our dining experience this eve was extremely poor. We were not seated until 8pm and not served with starters until almost 9pm , with mains being served around 9.45. The food was luke warm and tasteless. Most people on our table left their main course . Service was slow, and disorganised, making for an unenjoyable evening. I’ll be giving this place a wide berth from now on.

Lovely food but service ruins it. Staff seem unorganised and unsure of where we were to be seated although we’d made a reservation and they’d already brought us to a table. Not only that but we had to ask for the bill twice and wait 20 minutes at which point we got fed up of waiting and went to the bar to sort it. Last time we came here before the pandemic I remember a similar experience and thought it was a one off but clearly not, and the first time was during a week night. Quite disappointed.

I've been to Indish many times since it opened over the years & it's a really nice place with a really good vibe. On our recent visit the starters were lovely & the service was very sharp although we kind of felt rushed out which was very annoying as there were lots of free tables? On the down side the main curry was so bland in flavours & spice and it really disappointed and this is the reason I would go somewhere else in the future as I like a lot more of a kick from a curry.

Excellent service excellent food in very pleasant atmosphere. Can not fault this place and good value for money.

Great food, fantastic service by staff. Ash was great, very friendly and always had a smile on his face. Good atmosphere on a Saturday evening, would highly recommend.

Firstly I booked for 4 of us for a meal NYE. When we turned up I was told there was no booking so I shown the waiter my confirmation email in which his response was ‘well did you pay a deposit’ in which I stated when booking they don’t ask for one. He then said well everyone else here has paid one. Told the waiter yet again that’s not my problem I was never asked for one on the website in which again his abrupt response was ‘well the website doesn’t work’ despite the fact I had a confirmation. He then told us we would have to wait 45 mins which we had to as already paid our taxi there. Side note Uber eat drivers take priority over people dining inn. After finally sitting down, service was slow. Understandable busy night however this should be managed more effectively then with more staff to facilitate the amount of people. When we finally get served we were told it was a £54.95 set menu. Again this was never explained at time of booking. The entertainment was good DJ, fire breather and belly dancer, however music was too loud to the point you literally couldn’t have a conversation and the place stunk of petrol the fire breather. Food was tasty can’t fault that. When it came to the bill luckily we were sober enough to realise they also tried adding extra drinks on there that we didn’t have. Also like to point out the menu states glass of champagne on arrival that never happened either. We also witnessed a older staff member talking to a younger waiter in an unpleasant manner after he accidentally dropped a glass due to the chaotic environment in which he said ‘hurry up and pick it up then’. I certainly wouldn’t want me children working there that’s for sure. Overall won’t be returning.

We had a booking for Boxing Day which was pre booked. On arrival we were greeted by the door with a polite greeting and shown the bar area. We were seated within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly began to fill by 4.30pm. There was no delay in service in fact a little fast. As we had only been seated a few minutes. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was superb. The service was extremely stretched after the mayhem with the chef. Yes we waited an extremely long time for our main meal but the atmosphere was that good the time passed very quick. We finally received our orders and the food was of high standards and no complaints from me, or our party. I will go as far as to say the professional way the staff conducted themselves when under such immense pressure was noted. My criticism of indish…. The ladies toilets need a regular cleaner to inspect them they was not the cleanest of toilets in a restaurant. And the female staff were extremely quiet and reserved. Best 2 persons I would name would be the female bar tender on shift tonight she was very bright and bubbly with a very good memory for the orders she takes. And also to the management for averting a crisis on such a busy night of the year. Well done ….And I will be back again.

I have just had my first meal here. The dish I ordered was a little spicier than I'm used to so asking the advice of the staff is recommended. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble The restaurant is clean with a fresh modern decor. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The welcome you are given when you arrive at Indish is lovely. Lots of attentive knowledgeable staff including their waiters. I had a lamb madras which was really, really good. I live down south but was up to visit family. A must when you visit these parts. I would definitely recommend Indish!

First time here and I absolutely loved it! Great staff and great food! Definitely will be going again!

This place is great the staff are extremely friendly and chatty we had a laugh with them. They made me and the mrs feel very welcome and enjoyed our couple of hours “us” time. Food was spot on will definitely be visiting again soon. 5******

Visited for the first time tonight and all I can say is wow. The food is delicious and the service is absolutely outstanding. The place itself is so clean and welcoming and our waiter, sadiq couldn't do enough for us. A total gem of a place .

Amazing food great atmosphere

We just went for our granddaughters 14th birthday. There were 11 of us. Food delicious as always. They were very accommodating for the children. Staff very attentive and helpful. Reasonably priced. Will definately go back.

The best experience I have had in a long time, Food is brilliant really nice and as for the service again it was brilliant 👏 they were always on hand if you needed any thing. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening and we will definitely be calling back. One very happy customer.

If you're a south Asian person, then it's probably not the place for you. The food is nothing special. The usual tomato based restaurant curry. Nothing tasted special or different. I ordered a biryani, had very little taste. The curries were the same. I asked for spicy for the chat puri and green chillies were just chucked on top. It didn't add anything to the limited taste. It's more catered for the non asain people I think. Parking is a nightmare, a tiny space which is impossible to get into on a weekend. I appreciate they were very busy but we made a reservation for 7.30 and weren't seated till over a hour later. Service was alright, food came out quickly. If you're looking for authentic Indian/Bengali food then this is not the place.

Nice surroundings, poor service. Had to ask for a drink after 15 mins. Food was good tho a little spicier than most places I have visited. Felt like staff couldn't be bothered with a table of 2 as we weren't spending a lot of money. The large party tables received a lot of attention as they were more lucrative.
