The drink was OK. We never complain in situ as you have no control over the potential reactions of the kitchen. The CEO would never eat here if he was served a simple dish of fish & chips of this quality.(see photo) Badly cooked by who ever cooked it but more incredible who ever was in charge allowed the dish to leave the pass. Were I a waiter/waitress I would be embarrassed to bring it to table. It says no one really cares. Beefeater's response is about as good as its product. Our visit was July and the Sorry arrived 10th of September, say no more.

Had a great meal at the Christie beefeater, I ordered the platter which was huge and couldn't finish it there was so much food! The only thing I why I have given 3 stars is the manager was so rude! We had a large party of people of which we had phoned in advance and informed them and was told it would be no problem, up on arrival they had put us on two tables separated, when we asked the manager if there was anything she could do she huffed and litterally walked off! Rest of the staff were great though.

To start with. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. We were told from the beginning it will be a 30 minute wait for food. Which was expected because it’s a busy Sunday tea time. Food was delivered hot and extremely delicious. Wasn’t badgered constantly about how the food tasted unlike some restaurants - massive bonus to the hardworking staff members. Always a pleasure to come to this site.

Didn't book ahead however not a problem service was good . Starter arrived in good time however there was no availability of alcohol free drinks except for the usual lagers. Had tap water which was delivered warm and no ice available. Ordered rib eye steak which I was eventually told was not available so caused a delay. The lamb chops substitute was luckily very good.

Went Friday 31st March. Was 2 waitresses running round and seemed very short staffed. We were on the 2 course meal deal and waited over 25 mins after finishing the main course before someone came to clear the plates and give us a desert menu. No one came at all to check if anything was ok with the meal either, nor were we offered another drink despite finishing while we were waiting. After going on nearly 2 hours we finally managed to order dessert. When it came my friend had ordred the popcorn sundae and the glass was half empty, very disappointing. We saw the same waitress at breakfast the following morning, face still like thunder. Overall food was tasty but service was atrocious and we will not return because of it.

Came with family for an evening meal and wished we hadn’t. The service was slow, to at some points non existent. The starters took around 45-50 minutes to arrive from ordering and when they did arrive looked sad and sorry on the plate and were cold. For the price the portions were tiny. Of the 3 mains ordered the only decent one was the fish and chips. The other two dishes were again lukewarm to cold like they had been sat a while. All in all a really poor dining experience, one I wouldn’t recommend or revisit.

We came in on Tuesday and it was an interesting meal. Unfortunately our food was a bit cold, however the service was amazing. Despite the restaurant being clearly understaffed, our server Holly really exceeded our expectations with her kindness.

This review is nothing to do with the restaurant, but with the staff! A massive thank you to Liz that works there! I left my purse there but I live in Essex. She personally posted it down to me and it safely arrived today. I can't believe that she did that for me! She is brilliant and you are lucky to have her!

Decided to get the steak sandwich, which while a bit tougher than expected, was overall quite nice. The more outstanding part of the experience though was my waiter, Dean. Dean was attentive, funny, and courteous the entire time and made sure to check up on me to make sure everything was going well. Would recommend going there after a walk in the nearby park, if not for the food then at least for the lovely service.

The restaurant's location is excellent with ample parking space. Food was good. The service was excellent. Dean (our waiter) was very friendly, professional and very attentive. He remembered what drinks everybody ordered even after our main course.

Always a wonderful experience when visiting, whether that be lunch or dinner. I've always found the staff/team to be polite and professional so am surprised by some of the reviews when scrolling. Last night was no different - good food and excellent service. We arrived at a busy time so expected meals to be slightly delayed, but they arrived sooner than we expected and cooked to how we requested. Thanks for a great evening.

Really nice little place , I had one of the platters was very nice massive portion size would easily feed two people . Was disappointed that the Sunday roast had ran out by 4 in the afternoon well most of the meats for it . Had a 50 minute wait for the food aswell , the staff seemed lovely but also very disinterested at the same time

Drove 20 mins this morning as walk in’s for Breakfast buffet on Mother’s Day. We arrived at 10:20 and was told they were not accepting walk ins and they had another 100 people booked for breakfast and was basically turned away as paying customers. Disappointed as there is no mention on website stating no walk ins at all. Luckily as we were leaving and headed to the car a kind couple saw us being refused and approached us to say they had booked for 4 people but 2 decided not to go and that we could fill the spaces.. so we did, paid and managed to get a table for 2 instantly which we was surprised at considering there were another 100 guests to feed. Went up to get our food no que’s at all and as we sat down to eat the place just emptied by the minute (see picture). Now I wonder how much actual business they turned away this morning from ‘walk ins’? Because it’s just bizarre there clearly was not 100 more customers to feed unless the staff member that refused us just didn’t want us to come in. Food was what you expect for buffet breakfast. Beans were cold but can live with that.

The food was ok. comparing other branches across the UK. As it was a buffet Service for the food was Slow , at least 25 minutes in the queue. Not a place that I would recommend, I will recommend to try another branch. The cups smells of meat. No Spoons available The tables are very sticky. This branch is Not recommended.

Our waitress Jade was absolutely lovely and the food was amazing! It was super reasonably priced, high quality and tasty. Even for a random Thursday night the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back!

Not a lot of choice near the hotel. Lots of menu items unavailable so limited choice. I don't have a huge appetite but still hungry after main course and ordered pudding and still felt hungry. The wine was good but I didn't feel valued as a customer. Guess I needed the company because I've never stayed on a hotel alone before.

Had an amazing time, place is very tidy with a homey feel. Atmosphere was lovely and the customer service was on point. Our server, Dean, was especially attentive and incredibly friendly! Food was delicious and only got better as the courses went on. Would happily come back again!

Dean was extremely friendly and gave me and my colleague excellent service. Nothing was too much for him. We were in need of a well earned lunch break. He made it that much better. Thank you Dean.

The team of staff, young ladies and men were well mannered and attentive to our needs. The food we ordered was served prompt and appealing to view.We had the two courses meal deal, and everything was hot and tasty. The service and food was better than some posh restaurants. Well done

A massive thank you to Eva who looked after us this evening, even when our group size out grew our table, she arranged a new table and catered for us effortlessly. Following on from her professionalism, kudos to the Chef team as the food came out in a reasonable time, all hot and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Delicious. Thank you team, for a very pleasant evening. We really appreciate your service.

Excellent food 5 ⭐️ Poor Service -1 ⭐️ Let’s start with the good points. The meal was amazing. I ordered a mix grill rare with Bearnaise sauce. I upgrade my steak and the steak was amazing, the chicken was tender and not dry at all. The chunky chips was nice and gold as I liked. My meal was fresh and hot, I had no complaints at all. (Complimentary to the chef) About the service: I was delivering my last parcel to the restaurant and I decided to have a meal in that restaurant. I was using an uniform and when I ordered a table for one, I got a table, I ordered a bottle of Stillwater and the waitress came with a lunch deal menu and left. I asked the manager for the main menu and then ask the toilets to wash my hands, when I came back to my table, I had a small bottle of Stillwater but no glass or ice, I asked for a glass with ice and I ordered my meal, a mix grill. I got a glass but no ice or lemon. I got my meal, but nobody came to check how was my meal, offer a second drink. After my meal I normally order a coffee but I decided to go, so I walked to the till and paid for my meal. I was so disappointed because I worked in restaurant for 14 years and I felt that they didn't pay attention to me because I wasn't dressing a nice suit but an uniform. I have a company and I had people working for me, last month I had a staff party in a steakhouse and I paid for 10 meals including drinks but I probably never will book a staff party at this restaurant.

Good selection of food on menu and food looked and tasted great. However, the service was slowwwww. Despite needing a table number to order your food, the serving staff did not seem to know where the tables were, or didn't check the table numbers before leaving the kitchen; at one point they even came around the tables looking for who had ordered sticky toffee pudding. Quite an easy fix.

Ordered 'Surf and turf' to take back to the hotel and I was missing the Jumbo King Prawns & garlic Mayo. Everything was tasteless, hence the ketchup mayo on the plate. The mini corn on the cobs was not chargrilled or seasoned with bbq rub (it was wet, as if its boiled and thats it). First time eating at Beefeater and the pictures and description sounds great but it was terrible. Not worth £26 pounds with a bottle coke.

It was OK I guess... We went for a chat and a lunch. Good was adequate but nothing special, service average, etc - a bit like a Weatherspoons but more expensive! I'll go again as its convenient for a quick bite but wouldn't bother if it was for anything halfway special. I recall this place being much better. Everything seems to have slipped...

Very tasty food in an ideal location near to bus services and adequate parking. Friendly and welcoming staff, was fortunate to have a discount as food can be on the expensive side.

Kids menu is great value, adults a bit pricier and not particularly overwhelming. Service was good and the bottomless sugar free drink option was a lovely addition. Lots of seating and car parking spaces. Would definitely go back with the kids but not without.

Went here for my sons 18th and really did put a downer on the rest of the day after the meal. We booked a table for 14.30 but we we're early but then had to go and find out if it was ready as we placed in the bar to wait for it ! We finally had our meal at around 15.30 but it was busy and i appreciate that everyone only has one pair of hands ! The kids meal was terrible, i ordered a cheese burger to which it was over cooked and the bun was too small for the burger and it was like a brick literally as if it had been left too long to pick up ! My daughter couldn't get her teeth through it so obviously it wasn't eaten 🙄 i didn't complain at the time as we we're not asked if everything was ok and i just wanted to go. The steak and chicken were really dry too. The only good thing was i got discount with my blue light card. The lady who served us was nice and friendly, despite the poor quality of food.

My husband had the mixed grill, I had a rump steak. Every part of the meal was delicious, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his, eating every last bit, I absolutely loved mine, I'm not a great fan of chips, but the ones here are gorgeous. We were slightly let down by the desserts, we had the ice cream sundaes, they weren't the greatest, expensive for what they were. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all very friendly and polite. I highly recommend a visit here.

Stayed at Premier Inn next door in stormy weather so ate here both evening and breakfast. Couldn't fault my sirloin steak. Was busy but our waitress Jane worked very very quickly and efficiently. Only criticism is that the menu offers few healthy options unfortunately. Breakfast was really good with varied selection both hot and cold. No decaff coffee. If you are staying over, there is a meal deal of two course evening meal, drink and breakfast. This was advertised on the back of the breakfast menu!!! We missed out on that as only checked the dining menu. Could have saved just £20!!! Not pleased about that.

Had an amazing time with some friends of mine on a trip up here from london, food was spectacular (especially the sticky toffee pudding!). Our server, Dean, was a super cheery guy, made the experience even better :). Would recommend to anyone. Would recommend getting the set out course menu’s.

The food here is Ok, and the staff are lovely, it's just unfortunate the facilities don't reflect how nice the place is. My partner and myself have visited the establishment 4 times in 2 months, our first visit I mentioned to the staff that the toilet in the womens bathrooms on the bar side was broken, and they said they knew and someone will be coming to fix it. The two times after that I noticed it still wasn't fixed so I mentioned it again. Today we visited again and the toilets still weren't sorted. I feel this is disgusting and doesn't reflect well on the business, and doesn't reflect well to your guests.

Booked a table here due to Heald Green being fully booked, was very happy with the welcome and introduction to the layout from Connor whose polite, pleasant and extremely helpful manner made for a great breakfast treat for my mum, daughter and grandkids. The other staff members, both female whose names I didn’t ask were equally courteous and made an extremely hard working team and really made a huge difference throughout my visit. Great team and I will definitely be back for breakfast at Christie Fields, well done Beefeater.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
