The food is phenomenal! Curried mutton (goat) and rice and peas....just delicious! Fried dumplings were on point! And the lady owner/server was an absolute diamond, so polite and friendly. Will come back every time we visit Manchester. Real hidden gem 💎

Without a doubt the best Jamaican food in Manchester. Not a bad dish on the menu - I've tested extensively. Particular highlights are the ox-tail and ackee and salt fish. Marion and Dean are wonderful hosts. I can't recommend them enough.

It's astonishing, if you have never tasted Jamaican food before, this is the place. The jerk chicken is really moist and tender and the jerk sauce/gravy thing really compliments it. The rice underneath just collects that sauce as it drips down making it even more tasty and taking the essence of the jerk chicken. The charring of the chicken skin also gives a nice bbq flavour too. It may be slightly spicy (I really do like spicy) but that's perfect because you can taste the flavour better. The oxtail is stunning and really tender. Lovely sauce on it too and just as good as the jerk chicken. It's amazing. I really can't recommend it enough! Da iawn!

Best Jamaican in the Northwest so far! Jerk chicken falls of the bones, the skin is just devine! Portions are generous too! Must try their curry goat, dumplings and the delicious Guinness punch!

Excellent authentic food. I had the oxtail and it was delicious. My only feedback is that I wished the restaurant stayed open later in the week. Due to it closing at 6 p.m, I had to go to another Caribbean restaurant for takeaway and the food was horrible. I really wish you stayed open later!

The Curry Goat🐐 was mouthwatering and the fried chicken🍗 was really crispy and juicy if you need anywhere for a quick bite or looking for authentic Jamaican food I would highly recommend trying Eat & Sweet out as the food from there is delicious.

Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had, full of flavour totally different taste to the rest. I’ve been going here for a couple of years in the city centre, I’m glad there opening the new shop in failsworth nearer to home 😊

They came to Leeds carnival and the food was amazing. So amazing that we bought from them on Sunday and then returned on Monday for more. Portion sizes are great and the ladies in the van were really lovely. Highly recommend. Please come back next year!!

Delicious food! Made with a smile and perfect on a sunny day. Curry goat, akee and saltfish, dumplings and Guiness punch was all top notch and served by the loveliest person. If I'm ever back in Manchester I'll be sure to come again

I’ve been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant since I left Liverpool over a year ago. Before I received my food, I noticed how the staff knew most of their customers by name and if not by name, they knew about their families and their jobs and took an interest in everyone who came to their counter just asking about their lives which told me before my food arrived that this was the kind of restaurant that people try and then keep returning to. I ordered the curried lamb with rice and peas and a lamb patty on the side. I was excited for my food before it was even served up, not only due to the amazing smells from the kitchen but also because of the long line of returning customers. When the food arrived after a very short wait, I was given the most perfectly tender meat with a beautifully flavoured sauce and an amazing lamb patty. I took a seat inside and continued to listen to all the friendly chat between the staff and the constant stream of customers as I ate and remembered a level of customer service that you rarely see anymore. Side Note: Don’t be put off by the queues outside the door, the service was ridiculously fast.

Delicious fresh food I took home some for my family in London. I was surprised never been here before got oxtail and curry goat with rice and peas and steamed vegetables. The kind owner threw in some dumplings for me to take and they were great too. Will be back when in town.

Just dined in at Eat & Sweet (real Jamaican food). I ordered curried mutton, rice and peas with dumplings and a piece of chicken. The food was juicy big tender pieces of meat with the perfect consistency of flavour and spice. Absolutely delicious. The customer service was on point, professional, polite and courteous. 1st class all the way! I have got to go back as its difficult to find genuine places to enjoy amazing food these days! Highly recommended.

Good authentic Caribbean spot not far from the city centre. Quick and pleasant service. Curry goat was amazing and 10/10 for the steamed vegetables. Oxtails were good. Quality meat used and cooked well but I felt they were lacking that flavour I'm used to. Would love to have tried more if I had more time in the city.

This is hands down THE BEST Jamaican takeaway in Manchester. Their oxtail is delicious and you must try their amazing jerk chicken. What a wonderful family run business, Marion and Dean are such a lovely couple and Im grateful for their little gem of a food place in the northern quarter. Their food is wholesome, warming and filled with love! Definitely worth a visit

Doesn't look anything special when you go in, but the food is awesome! Best mutton curry I can remember having in a long time. Also, lovely, friendly people working there. Will look forward to returning on my next trip to Manchester.
