My first time eating Yemeni food and it was so good! Im vegetarian so I ordered a bunch of veggie sides (take out) and each individual dish was totally different and really delicious. The Yemeni Naan with honey is 😍😍😍 Thank you so much!

we ordered these for delivery: lamb soup, the mandi lamb and the kabsah lamb. this is my first time trying Yemeni food. the mandi rice that comes with the mandi lamb is more spiced than the rice for kabsah lamb while the kabsah lamb dish is overall milder. both items are delicious in their own ways, and i would recommend them both if you are craving for succulent lamb dishes :) super super generous portions for affordable prices

Very nice .. remind me of the food in my country... basic tasty dishes.. I love it. I would like to rate it higher ..but it's not offering the all menu as regular Yamnies restaurant.

Amazing experience, the Mandi is very nice and a must. Service is quick and very hospitable. Was able to get a space for our family and the food more than filled us. Pricing is very good and reasonable for what you get. Would go back anytime I’m in Manchester.

I had high hopes for this place as I like a Yemeni feast. But actually, this place didn't live up at all. Honestly, I'd avoid! Firstly, the staff are rude and unresponsive, I mean good luck getting served. When you do eventually get served, very abrupt and get the order wrong, with no inclination to sort out. Secondly, the hummus had a hair in it, which was replaced but still, not nice. Third, the portion sizes are SO SMALL for the premium price paid. There were many more issues such as the smell of the place, the fact they couldn't seat us upstairs despite being a large group, not bringing plates and spoons even when requested 3 or 4 times etc. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences on the curry mile. Good customer service goes a long way. I feel only the customers that are of the same culture and language as the staff get treated well. Very disappointed.

Just amazing. My go to place for eating lamb. The quality and taste are absolutely amazing. The yemeni tea is a must have too. Great place if you enjoy authentic yemeni cuisine.

First time in Manchester and googled this place. Absolutely loved it, at first when you enter it seems like a moderate restaurant. As you go upstairs there are cubicles with seating on the floor. The decor is of course using rugs and Islamic art. There was a lot of privacy. The food we ordered from the desk as you have to pay on order. We were given complimentary soups to start our meal, it tasted amazing. Every mouthful had tons of flavour. The rice was fluffy, a little lemony, cooked to perfection. Chicken tikka were moist. All in all we were a party of six and we wiped the plates clean. Would love to return again if ever we come to Manchester.

Food is tasty but portion sizes are tiny for extortionate prices. A small bowl of Masoub / Areeka for £6? When I say small, its tiny. I have a lot of Yemeni friends and they are known for hospitality and having a big heart but this place its losing its mark for money unfortunately

The staff are friendly. The food is not bad but no authentic. Utilities could use some more attention. Value for the money is not matched. Overall you won't regret spending time there but I wouldn't be a regular there.

Excellent for niqabi sisters! They have family seating upstairs and the staff are always polite and respectful, they always ensure to knock before they come in. The service is fast and the food is always delicious!! Good prices too and no loud music.

A decent place for Mandi. The meat is really tasty and fresh. Their soup is very nice. However I have had better Mandi elsewhere. The restaurant looks abit tired and needs a refurbishment. It’s alright if you want a little change but nothing ‘amazing’ flavour wise just average for me but my partner enjoyed it. So it depends on your taste buds. Friendly staff though. Do give it a try and see if it works for you.

Food was amazing. Arabic style seating facilities, private rooms for families. Not happy with the way they handled our booking and customer service

My go to place for authentic Yemeni food. The lamb Mandi is an absolute must , succulent meat that falls off the bone and the rice is full of flavour. The fahsa is beautiful too , so delicately spiced and rich in flavour. Always order from here for delivery and the food is consistently good and great portion

Great Yemeni cuisine the Lamb was delicious and the segregated cubicles with carpet seating created a warm ambience

We tried this restaurant as one of my friends suggested they serve good yemenite food. We went on Friday night and it was almost full. Upstairs they have seating area where you sit on floor and eat together. We ordered lamb mandi, kabsa and lamb fahsa. They first saved broth soup with lemon which was very refreshing especially in the cold. Food was really good quality and decently priced. Good flavours, decent quantity and not very heavy or oily. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if coming towards Manchester for good yemenite food.

Very traditional place with authentic food. I have tried their Chicken Kapsa, Lamb Mandi and Chicken Mandi. Good value for money. One serving is enough for 2 people.

I love Mandi, having eaten it in several Arab countries, however I found this restaurant's version lacking. Firstly it didn't have the unique flavour of Mandi. Secondly it was overpriced at £10 per portion. I will try another Yemeni restaurant next time.

Very nice place ta have Ramadan Iftar and tea as well. They have a good private spaces for groups. In Hadramout you can also share space to have food on Arabian style. Their food really great.

Had lovely simple and fair priced food. Unfortunately couldn't have the lamb mandi because it was finished. But we had Kubsah, which was very nice.

Authentic and affordable Arab food, staff was friendly not much crowded too. Waiting time was little longer. Don’t expect great dine-in experience, Typical budget restaurant but good food.

Simple, tasty, authentic food. No frills, no pretentiousness. It is exactly what I look for. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

The food in these pictures looks nothing like what you get with a takeaway order. The fish was burnt to a crisp, the lamb looked anaemic and the portion was tiny, no "special blend of Yemeni spices" and the rice is full of bones. Mixed mezze was sloppy mess. Drink was not delivered at all. Not worth the money. Plenty of other arabic places with decent food. Don't bother with this place.

beautiful and the food is always fresh. Well priced, filling and traditional arab decor and eat sitting on the floor.

Best authentic Yemeni food. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for families. Upstairs is a traditional Arabic seating. As far as I know, it's the only restaurant that serves liver. My recommendations are: محمر لحم، محمر دجاج، وكبدة.

Amazing food (authentic Yemeni cuisine). Loved the floor seating (Arabic style), adds to the whole dining experience. The soup is so good. The meat, rice and bread were all cooked really well. Couldn’t complain especially coming from a lover of Arabic food. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
