Fantastic, tastes exactly like what I am looking for, Hong Kong Style Restaurant!! Iced Milk Tea, Won Ton Soup, Pan-Fried Salt and Pepper Pork Chops with Rice, broth-filled steamed pork dumplings, love the meal. When I first took the sip of the milk tea, I knew I found the perfect place to have dinner in the future with my family. Tastes of "Home Kong" (Hong Kong) definitely is bringing back a lot of memories from where I came from. I enjoy it so much here at Manchester Chinese Restaurant !!!! Thanks for the dinner!

Absolutely delicious food. It wasn't the busiest place on the square but I don't think we could have had a nicer Chinese meal. Staff were just lovely. Food was excellent. Restaurant was clean & comfortable. Only 5 minutes from the Gay Village

The roasted BBQ pork is tasty but the soy sauce chicken can be better. The overall taste is good.

Best Chinese restaurant in Manchester, I have tried many many Chinese restaurants in town (and in other cities too), but I always just come back disappointed. No restaurants has ever came close to this, authentic Hong Kong food and drinks, friendly owners and fast service, it is not that expensive compare to other restaurants in city centre. Definitely try their fried noodles or fried rice if you are a first time visitor, you will understand what wok hey is! Also pair the meal with a glass of classic milk tea or lemon tea, real taste of Hong Kong! Will recommend to my friends and ofcoz I will come back for more!

Food was absolutely amazing upon arrival we got seated straight away and very fast service. Prices for the 4 of us with the amount of courses and choices we made including 2 bottles of wine were great. The atmosphere was also lovely. Food quality was outstanding and definitely not one to miss out on. Make sure you have a booking before you go as the place doesn’t have too many tables. All food was out within 20mins and most likely the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Great location right in the heart of china town

We came here for tea the other day and completely enjoyed the food. It's £36 for salted fish and chicken fried rice, boneless roasted duck half side, salt and pepper fried squid, 2 coke zero. It worth the price but the only thing that I was not satisfied is the price of every dish was not pointed in the bill as it was handwritten. If a group of my friend came here and ordered alot of food then it would not be easy for us to check. Hope next time when I come here the restaurant will improve this issue. Recommended

Very delicious food. They have 2 menus, one of them contains traditional Chinese food the other is a little bit Westernised Chinese food. We chose the traditional menu and ordered wontons, Szechuan main course spicy rabbit meat along with plain rice and pork belly fried rice. The wontons were very dry and wasn't really tasty. But the rabbit meat course was amazing. It's not very spicy, but you can still taste the spices. The meat and the mushrooms were my favourite, I'm glad I ordered the plain rice too because it made a perfect combination with it's soup. However, the portion was way too big for me so it's better to share if you're planning to order this. Pork belly fried rice was also delicious. We also tried Chinese beer, it's not very strong which is something I prefer, hence I enjoyed it. If you like Chinese food, I would definitely recommend this place.

Hot & Sour Soup... awesome. Dumplings... awesome. Singapore style vermicelli... awesome. An authentic Chinese restaurant with fantastic, helpful staff and delicious, affordable dishes. My noodles were spicy, fragrant and there was so so much. They have both an authentic Chinese style menu and an English style menu for more local variety. You will not be disappointed.

Traditional Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu. The food is not the westernised Chinese food you can get on the high street but traditional Chinese food.

OK Chinese restaurant, it's not that big and it gets busy, best to reserve a table if you can. Food is OK in my opinion, service is very good, they serve a variety of dishes including home style dishes. It will depend on what dishes you order, but the dim sum was poor.

It was pretty good, aside from the hostess, who was the only negative aspect of this restaurant. She often worn a frown and had a negative attitude. She should at least pretend to be happy, if she is working at the front!!

Lovely little restaurant in one of many Chinatown basements of Manchester. Stopped for a lite lunch and ended up with huge portions of house special crispy noodles and a roast duck and char sui noodle soup. Soup was very different to what I am used to, in that, the roast meats where not cooked in the soup but presented as a side dish. Very different and takes a while for the flavours develop in the soup Base. But give it time and it tastes delicious. Service a little slow but polite enough.

Manchester Chinese Restaurant in Manchester's Chinatown and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in the area. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of dishes that were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Despite being very busy, the service was also very speedy and efficient, which was impressive given the high volume of customers. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this Manchester Chinese Restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service in Manchester's Chinatown. Despite being busy, they still maintained a high standard of quality and made our dining experience truly memorable. It's definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.

Nice atmosphere, inexpensive, well cooked and swiftly served. What else would you expect? My hot and sour soup and fried noodles with king prawns were delicious!

In general authentic Hong Kong style, which highly appreciated! Since there are different style in the same canton cuisine, it’s comfort food for every Hongkongers! Had some dim sums and trio roast meats, the dim sums just slightly over-steam, but it still taste spot on. For the roast meat I would recommend the roast duck, not too oily and able to taste the flavourful duck meat. Treasure found for me!

Beef noodle and wonton soup noodle were great! It was very busy when we arrived at 12:00 on bank holiday. I feel like I come to Hong Kong not only food but also the staff and services. I will come back again for sure.

We had the three mixed meats with rice. The pork belly was excellent, the duck was good and the char siu was a bit meh. The beef brisket in chuhou was also middle of the road and the salt and pepper squid was probably a poor order on my part 🤣.

The very fussy eater me and my friend are we came here thinking of some normal friend rice. After the first bite was amazed by the taste. It was so amazing 🤩. Such large portions at such affordable price and taste so good. Any Asian traveling needs to come here to relinquish your hunger.

Was craving for Cantonese so went for a quick lunch and it didn't disappoint. Ordered my staple 'Siu Mei Faan' (Roasted meat rice) and I'd always go for 'Char Siu' (barbecued pork) and 'Siu Youk' (Crispy roasted pork) to test out the restaurant. The dish came in minutes with a generous portion of meat and rice! The roasted pork was really crispy without being too salty. And the barbecued pork was still quite juicy and tender although it was on the leaner side. Personally I like it more on the fatty side but this was good too. The place was clean and spacious as well without being too crowded during lunch hours. Staffs were friendly and efficient as well. Would definitely come again to try out different dishes.

This is a classic Hong Kong styled restaurant in China town. The staff was welcoming us when we just arrived. We came to taste the well known beef brisket meals. The beef brisket was so tender and the curry was strong enough too. Particularly they offer Coffee with Tea, aka Yuenyeung, which I can’t miss it.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
