Gareth knows EVERYTHING about Manchester and gives the best food recommendations🤤 I did the tour already in april 2019, but I met up with them again when I visited again, just to meet up. After all these years he's just as passionate, or maybe even more than before. He's funny and overall so nice. The little doggie is a great sidekick, I'm so glad I finally got to meet the little Salchicha❤️ I can tell you that the Spanish guide Ivo is just as amazing! You'll really enjoy your time with these amazing people, while getting to know all the ins and outs of this great and versatile city.

We had one day to see Manchester and bumped into Gareth outside the Central Library who had just started his 2-hour tour. We joined the group as he was so interesting. Good knowledge, great sense of humour and we could easily hear everything he said. Thoroughly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn more about Manchester, its history and its character.

I’ve visited the City many times in my life and never realised how it came about & didn’t know about the people who shaped it’s development. Gareth has a great way of explaining the city’s growth & about its people and we got to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Highly recommend.

Gareth Smith was a very nice tour guide who had perfect insider tipps and brings up some history of the town to understand how it is today. He talks very clear so you can understand him perfectly. Every question was answered and he knows this city quite well.

We got lost walking around Manchester with my daughter & granddaughter stop a young man who Had a lovely chat very friendly but us back on track then bumped into him again in Sinclair bar and had another chat amazing guy who know everything about Manchester's history, football music he knows it all you couldn't trick him when in Manchester again I will definitely go on one of his walks keep up the good work for 😘🥰

Did this tour today with Gareth (sorry if I spell your name wrong) and it was one of the best tours I have done. Walking the town with our guide was very eye opening to all of the history that Manchester has. Also our guide’s dog “Sausage” made my girlfriend smile the whole time. Would definitely recommend for visitors or even local.
