Ancoats is just lovely 👏👏 Down the road from Northern Quarter, this elegant neighbourhood has lovely food and drink spots, cute houses, coworking spaces and an international crowd and cool vibe Recommend: Blossom Street Social for nice wines and craft beers

A great place to go for a drink on a nice lockdown evening. Good luck booking anywhere but don't worry, there are plenty of places to sit anyway. Bring your own beers. 🍺 🐝

A nice square slightly away from the bustle of the centre though still busy. Bordered on three sides by decent restaurants and on the other by St. Michael's, the home of the Halle orchestra and also a good quality cafe (Cafe Cotton)

It's a nice place to sit and watch people on a sunny afternoon, surrounded by food venues it's generally busy and sometimes hosts a market.

Fun place to hangout in the summer. There is craft Market on Sunday that adds to the atmosphere. A few cafes and bars around as well to get some good and drink.

Nice little outdoor space, if visitors have managed to keep it clean! Nice range of restaurants and bars around and great in the sun.

Selection of bars to choose from and plenty of outdoor seating. Ok it's not Barca or Madrid, but if it's dry, in Manchester, we're happy.

Great on a sunny day. Gets very busy very quickly. Not much available on-street parking for visitors for what's in the area but still worth a mooch.

Makers market every 2nd Saturday in the month. Bit pricey. Not my thing. Each to their own.

One of the trendiest new places to socialise in Ancoats. Excellent bars such as 7Brothers and delicious food like Rudy's Pizza, you'd be hard pressed to find a more hipster space to drink on the street. Highly recommended for anyone living in the vicinity and beyond.

Its 2021, there's a global pandemic, yet cutting room square is a community space in a big city where people meet in open air safely...like an old fashioned town square. Looking forward to April to see it bursting with life again.
