This gallery is in my opinion dishonest and unscrupulous. I believe the owner knows nothing about art and his only intention is monetary gain. Avoid any dealings with this gallery.

Good experience

To be fair, it's a few years since I bought a painting from here: an abstract, but I've visited since. The proprietor, whilst knowledgeable, isn't very personable, and as such, I no longer feel compelled to return..

What an absolute joy to stumble upon this fabulous art gallery. It's located in the old Granada buildings that used to house the Coronation Street mob, although I'm pleased to say the old has made way for the new and it is outstanding. I chatted with the proprietor, Nick, for some time and he is one of the most genuine people you could wish to meet. He has his finger on the pulse of contemporary art and the gallery exudes class and sophistication on every wall. Sculptures, paintings, marvellous creations from acorns and resin adorn the area, which is incredibly well laid out. What I like about this gallery is the relaxed and easy atmosphere, as though you're in your mate's (very well decked out) pad. Yes, if you're of a mind to snatch up a great (and affordable) painting by a great up and coming or established artist, head on over to Artzu Gallery on Quay Street, Manchester. It is well worth a visit.

Over the last few years, I have bought quite a few pieces of art from Nick at Artzu. He's passionate about the artists he represents and always offers great service, even bringing artwork to my home so that i can see if it works in situ. My favourites are two large scale Karenina Fabrizzi paintings, which are absolutely stunning and always a bit of a talking point when people see them for the first time. I'd definitely recommend a chat with Artzu, your interior design will be enhanced totally.

Very friendly staff and an amazing variety of work. The sitting area with catalogs showcasing more of the exhibited artists work was something I also really enjoyed. Will definitely be visiting again in the future :)

Very impressed with the new website and the fantastic service. Nick was incredibly helpful in working through a few different artworks I was interested in. He delivered several painting for a viewing at my home. Wonderful to be able to select the final artwork in situ! Thank you so much. Also enjoyed 'meeting' the artist at an online art preview organised by artzu. Great to have such a personal and informed service .

I visited this gallery a little while ago, i am sorry it has taken so long to write a review. The staff were very friendly they even aloud me to take photographs for my sketchbook. the artwork had a lot of variety of materials and techniques. I would recommend a visit to this gallery to anyone. Thanks.

After many months I was finally able to pop into Artzu Gallery today. I was welcomed by a lovely member of staff who was very passionate and informative about art. The gallery has a peaceful and calming atmosphere, displaying unique pieces that are a definite must see!

Visited today and just loved it! All staff incredibly friendly.. fabulous art-work and so much information about the artists known by the gallery. Should be on everyone's 'must-see' list of things to do in Manchester!

An absolutely amazing experience to have come down here. The staff was so helpful and the art pieces were truly inspiring, focusing on pieces shown in lights in a beautiful way with an underlying subtle tone of curiosity that stays with you even after you leave. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone that's interested in urban art or just art in general.
