Tourist attraction Park

😐 Low rating because of all the trash laying around in the most public areas. BUT! There are fields and paths where almost no body comes where it's so nice! Plenty of nature, rabbits, flowers, beautiful trees, berries (Rose hip, blackberries, even raspberries if you're lucky). This park is amazing for... People often mention area, walk, good, view,

Low rating because of all the trash laying around in the most public areas. BUT! There are fields and paths where almost no body comes where it's so nice! Plenty of nature, rabbits, flowers, beautiful trees, berries (Rose hip, blackberries, even raspberries if you're lucky). This park is amazing for blackberry picking I went two days in a row but there is loads left.

Great space to walk in. Unfortunately plagued by idiots dropping litter, the riding motorbikes and not really looked after despite the obvious investment in good paths. You can also access City Walk where you can get an amazing view of Manchester (picture attached).

Great for runs, there are a few steep hills for sprints. Perfect for dog walks. All it is though is paths, woods, some small natural field areas, and a small bike trail area. It's not a well maintained park with lights etc, and it's definitely not pretty. But it's natural, and often very quiet. Would be good if the council added some well maintained spots, especially a calisthenics park, outdoor gym area, and a fitness trail with exercise stations scattered throughout the area. It could be a perfect and popular exercise area. But I guess they prefer us paying for gym memberships

LIVIA seems to do winter in a way that is bleak rather than atmospheric. Furthermore, the litter and graffiti might be addressed. Care and investment needed.

So a lot of these reviews reflect the rubbish left more than the area, update though, there has been some removal.. It's a beautiful area, wildlife, quietness and amazing views, the area is small in comparison to others but does link to other beautiful areas of the same type of findings, rabbits, birds, local history of the houses found on city walk, the house no longer stand but the street path remains. Recently developed well around 10years+ ago, with amazing spots to overlook Manchester City, and not owned by Salford City Council either. Its known locally as privately owned. There is comments regarding dog feces, which isn't completely wrong however, there's an area which was targeted to highlight this problem, and it was resulting in spray painting the actual dog doings, now other wildlife live on there such as foxes, deer etc, and the spray paint found harmful to them. So with this topic it's a matter of fighting fire with fire, no one is considering the other wildlife, which there is in plenty of, in this little hidden gem.

Sometimes if it's a nice day I'll grab a little lunch and go and watch the ducks on the dam. Its changed so much since I grew up here in the late 60's, early 70's.There are fully grown trees where we used to play ! Then I think back and it isn't any wonder, it was 50 years ago ! One half of a century ! And then I feel so old 😒 I don't really, it just amazes me that so much time has passed. Hey ho !

Pretty peaceful and secluded for the most part. Lots of fairly hidden paths. Can get a good view over Salford and Manchester if you find the right spot. Would honestly be five stars if it weren't for the litter. That said, a lot of it is nice woodland that is growing on top of old colliery waste, so it's an improvement on the part. Pretty good for bird life considering it's virtually surrounded by the city.

It would be a nice place to walk but the path ways are very over grown, The grass, hedges, bushes all need attending. It has not been looked after by Salford council.

A small lovely wooded area, a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it by accident and it took us by surprise. Nature on our doorstep. We found a bench high up above with an amazing view of Salford and Manchester off in the distance. Its very peaceful and quiet with no people. (or was when we were there). Great place to clear your head and get some fresh air.

Lovely peaceful walk that's not far from the main A666. So you can loose yourself in the countryside and be very close to civilisation

Nothing much around for children besides the basket ball and football pitch behind the youth club. Great for walking the dog with good pathways that stretch from Clifton green, all the way to the pendlebury health centre on Bolton road.

Not too much Facility as a park, but good to have a walk for near the town.

My main local walk spot that leads on to many other places. The view from city view near lumms lane is a great place to unwind and take it all in and turn off from the world, and view the city from an outside, zen perspective
