Nice little park, free rugby pitches, fenced off playground and apparently good for walking dogs.

Only small but quiet and the children's playground is always empty if you're looking for a quiet playground to take your kids to.

Take my dogs on there sometimes. It's a great green space on your doorstep. A very small kids play area and not much else apart from the new birthing unit which is part of Salford royal

Good Park but not big, not too much toys for the children, probably because of that is not full of people

Oakwood is a lovely park. Lots of greenery, a place to play rugby or football. Great for walking dogs, plenty of bins. For rubbish etc. Small play area for the young ones. It's kept really neat and cared for. I enjoy walking through here with the 2 dogs and usually go onto Lightoaks Park, which is a lovely place to visit too

Generally nice park, great for kids and dogs or just a stroll. Nice little wildlife park and cafe at the weekend. Sometimes have scum bags hanging about though.

They've decided to tidy the place up by cutting down the long grass in what was a nice wild area that my dog used to love to run through, so points lost for gardening I'm afraid.

Google, is it at all possible that you can stop confusing somewhere i drive past with somewhere i visit. ask me about lightoaks park google. i go there a lot to walk our dog. dont ask me about this place. i've only been there maybe 5 times in 20 years. Its a park. lots of grass n trees. great for dogs. looks kinda neglected n somewhat derelict. not my idea of a nice place.
