There needs to be a lot more new facilities for all ages and abilities of children. To much dog poo and litter. Only the climbing frame and scare park are ok everything else needs replacing.

What a little gem of a park 💎☀️🌸💝 Has pretty much everything in here for your children and adults of all ages. I took plenty pictures from different angles so you can see everything. Just zoom into the photos and be surprised 😜 The playground is designed with all abilities ♿️ in mind, and I can’t say how much I appreciate this. Hopefully other parks will follow suit 🙏 There is a skate park and a basketball area sadly it was locked for some reason when we got there this time? It’s the first time it’s been locked ? We were there at about 4 ish so wasn’t too late 🤔 There is a little car park and a hut of some sort that might have a public toilet in? I will check and update when I do and let you know. It seems to be a little community hut so should be a loo in there. Will come back like I say and let you know. The park is just off the main road in Cadishead so easy enough to find and you can’t get lost in there as it is practically all blocked off apart from a gateway at the back of the adventure playground in the far distance. I didn’t walk that far down that end but will update when I do. I’ll be doing walkthroughs in all of the parks that we visit so you can see what the ground is like if it safe or not for you. It will give you a little idea before you get there of what the paths and dirt paths are like if you wanted to chance it with a wheelchair etc or not 😊 so do have a look through the pics and the videos will be uploaded too. If you don’t see the videos keep coming back to check and I will add them as soon as I can 🥰🌸 It’s situated between/in the middle of 2 motorways M6 and M60 so it would be quite easily accessed if you drive and it’s a lovely drive once you get off the M6 and also the M60 way you will pass through all the lovely vast majority of shops/restaurants/pet shops/tattooist/bakery/charity shops /great little cafes/diners there’s so many !! the list goes on, in Irlam. Not forgetting the amazingly beautiful Irlam Train station just down the road. So you won’t be bored or go hungry !! You could make a really nice day out here it’s not a packed place so never too busy so again a great little place to come if your family don’t like loud places. Please note. Every time we have been to these places it has been lovely and quiet. It could very well get busy maybe at times, but do check google maps on the busy times on the blue lines thing on the times it will tell you when places are quiet or busy ☺️🌸☀️ Enjoy. Can definitely recommend this park it is lovely and clean so great for picnics. The dog walkers have been lovely and friendly too have to say a big thank you for making us feel welcome 🐾🐾☺️💝🌸

A medium sized grassed area, good for dog recreation and football. A small playground area for kids. Average park - nothing to write home about.

It's a nice park, one of the smaller ones and sometimes the grass doesn't get cut so playing football can be very difficult but the park is great for smaller dogs and the small skate park is great for beginners on scooters, skateboards and so on as I learned on there and went to irlam after. Great place for kids to play on the park equipment too

Great little park for walking, with woods, fields, kids play areas with climbing frames etc, and football pitches. In close proximity to Irlam Leisure Centre, and Irlam Garden Centre.

Cadishead Park, located in Cadishead, offers a tranquil setting for outdoor recreation and relaxation. The park's serene atmosphere and well-maintained green spaces provide a pleasant environment for leisurely walks and picnics. The park's natural beauty, including its picturesque lake and charming woodland areas, adds to its appeal. However, there are areas where Cadishead Park could benefit from improvement. The lack of diverse amenities and recreational facilities may limit the options for visitors seeking more active pursuits. Adding amenities such as playgrounds, sports courts, or fitness areas would enhance the park's appeal and cater to a wider range of interests. Furthermore, the maintenance and cleanliness of certain areas within the park could be improved. Ensuring regular upkeep of facilities, including benches, pathways, and restrooms, would enhance the overall experience for visitors. Additionally, the park's accessibility and parking facilities might pose challenges, especially during peak times. Addressing these concerns by providing sufficient parking spaces and improving access points would make the park more convenient and enjoyable for visitors. Overall, Cadishead Park offers a peaceful and scenic environment for relaxation and leisure activities. However, enhancements in amenities, maintenance, and accessibility would elevate the park's appeal and provide visitors with a more fulfilling experience. With attention to these areas, Cadishead Park has the potential to become an even more popular destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts

Not much here. Skate park has been demolished. Fitness equipment looks dangerous. Tend to go in the car to Irlam instead
